The material is porous, so I think it is best suited for clitoral stimulation and vaginal insertion. I imagine it would work well to stimulate other parts of the body. It makes my pussy so happy that I have not used it elsewhere yet (except for that uncontrollable urge to put it in my mouth).
The Bendie is definitely a go-to toy for getting off. From foreplay to finish, it does the job.
Beginners or anyone not fond of girth in their toys might be initially hesitant. I think this toy would work for anyone. It surprised me how comfortable it was. The length may not be enough for some users.
It is waterproof and works great in the bathtub. I personally do not chance having orgasms in the shower unless I am with a partner. I would probably fall on my rear when my legs give out.
The Pure Bendie's outer sleeve is made of TPR. You should not share without condoms or toy covers. I use toy cleaner to keep it clean, yet keep in mind that it cannot be disinfected. I am fairly new to TPR toys. I love the softness and pliability. I just want to squeeze it and play with it. The package says the cap is made from ABS, which is a fancy word for plastic.
I removed the sleeve to take a look at its core. Each end is a typical-looking plastic. The middle is the part that makes it bendy. It is a white, coiled tubing covering ... well, I don't exactly know because I'm not willing to break it to find out. I like it too much.
I was initially intimidated by the girth of this toy. A combination of lube and taking my time to get to know it eased my worries. I believe the softness and realism of the material made insertion much easier. I would never have attempted this size in something plastic. The length worked well for me. Some users might prefer more length. The insertable length is five inches.
The head is realistic, except for the color, of course. The shaft is rippled for extra stimulation. The base is nice and wide and gave the sensation of testicles tenderly touching my labia while the shaft was inside. The only thing that could make that part more realistic would be if they bounced.
The functions are amazing and diverse. The packaging states that there is a powerful motor located IN the tip. The core does not actually extend all the way to the tip. The vibrations do travel nicely to the head but are at their strongest just below the head. I did not find this to interfere with clitoral or vaginal pleasure.
The ten settings are a combination of different levels of vibration and pulsations. The highest level of constant vibration is intense—"rocked my world" intense. The pulsating settings differ in pattern and intensity from slow and soft to deep and fast.
The plastic controls at the base are simple to use with some handy innovations. There is one slightly raised spot on the controls and the other one is slightly indented. The raised button turns it on and cycles through the ten fabulous functions. The other button turns it off and on. When you turn it off, it remembers the last setting. When you turn it back on, it picks up where you left off. The controls also light up with a soft, glowing light. I had never before understood the point of that. This is my first toy with the light feature. I tend to always have the lights on, so it was never a feature I looked for. I ended up enjoying the feature.
The obvious feature is that it bends. This comes in handy for pinpointing the G-spot. I also found that bending it helped with the comfort of holding it just right for clitoral stimulation.
Use only water-based lube. Store separately from other toys, perhaps in a plastic bag. Clean with antibacterial toy cleaner.
If you don't use the cornstarch, the material becomes slightly tacky and sticky. It still works fine without using cornstarch. It just feels nicer to the touch when cared for by dusting it with cornstarch before storing.
I have been using the package to store my new toy in. The insert is shaped to snuggle it right in. The packaging seems to include all the necessary information except for the suggestion of cornstarch.
I was so excited to get this in the mail. I was upset with myself for not being prepared by having batteries on hand. It uses three AAA batteries, which are not included. I also wish I'd had cornstarch. It isn't necessary but would be nice to have on hand.
After experiencing the versatility of so many vibrational options, I will probably stick to choosing toys with that feature.
I loved sucking on the head and rolling my tongue around it. It's so soft that you can really suck it into your mouth.
My quiet evening alone with this toy was actually in a dimly lighted room. I lay on my bed and tried out all the features in different positions. I also tried bending it in different directions. When I lay on my stomach with my back arched and looked down towards the action, it was a turn-on to see the soft glow of the light illuminating my breasts and stomach.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it3 months after original review
This is still in my "favorites" drawer. I suggest it for every collection. It is still being stored in the original package. I remove the batteries and store them in the same package.
I really should stop procrastinating in buying one of these as a gift. It is gift-worthy.
I've been busy trying out new toys. I am going to set a reminder for myself to treat myself to another similar vibrator. One of my favorite features is still the bend. It makes it so much easier to hold onto in the right angle, no slip on the grip.
