Pros
Fun texture, pure silicone, harness compatible base
Cons
Lint magnet, difficult to remove bullet
I've been coveting the Tantus Tsunami for several months and finally bought one for myself in strawberry pink. This is my second toy from Tantus, my first being the Ryder plug, which I love. It's made of 100% silicone and comes with a silver colored Tantus bullet. There is no smell or taste, but you need to use only water-based lube with this toy. The base on Tsunami makes it O-ring compatible, and safe for anal play. Take the bullet out and this is completely submersible, for bath fun and ease of cleaning. The included bullet is splash proof, but I wouldn't try boiling it with the toy...seems dangerous.
I think my Ryder is slightly plusher than the Tsunami because I was slightly surprised at the resistance the Tsunami gave when I first squeezed it. That's not to say this is a hard dildo like one with a plastic body. You can definitely bend this toy, and there is some nice give which has prevented me from hurting myself thrusting too hard, or hitting my cervix. But don't be fooled, Tsunami doesn't flop over, and stands up straight on its base and thrusts straight in as well.
The bullet is a pointy, one speed and has a purple button on the end to turn it on and off. I have to press this button pretty hard, but it works well. Be warned! Before you jam this bullet into the hole on the bottom of the Tsunami, I strongly recommend coating it with a little bit of water-based lube. This will greatly ease removal of the bullet, if you want to clean or go to the shower. If you leave the bullet in overnight, the lube will dry and you will just have to tug it out. It's not as terrible as I read in some other reviews, but it is an effort. Frankly, if the bullet slipped out while using the toy I think we'd all be crankier, so not a big issue. The bullet will vibrate most near the base of the toy, and the vibrations are muffled as you travel up the shaft.

Experience
For me, the girth of the Tsunami requires some slow and well lubricated warm up. However, the waves on the shaft make the warm up well worth it. I tend to stop and re-lube while using this toy, but I don't use very big toys too often, so it might not be an effort for others. But let me tell you about the waves...
Once I have the Tsunami inserted, I like to slowly tug it out, savoring the "pop" sensation from each wave. I feel them more pronounced when pulling the toy out than inserting, but it's a lovely sensation both directions. I prefer not to use the bullet as the vibrations take away from the awesome sensation of the waves entering and leaving my body. With the bullet removed, I can slip my index finger into the bullet hole while I thrust, giving me more control.
Now, strictly for the sake of science I decided to test the only other bullet I own in Tsunami: the We Vibe Tango. The Tango is an extremely high powered bullet and turned this dildo into a powerful vibrator. So, if you're unsatisfied with the strength of the Tantus bullet, there are options. The Tango makes the entire shaft vibrate, down to the tip. While I don't use this often, when I'm craving some more intensity, it's a great option.
Also for science, I tried this on my boyfriend. He gets to use a condom on it, but he's a hornball who buys condoms in bulk, so it's okay. The base on this toy makes it safe for anal play, so I was comfortable inserting this in him and letting go so I could attend to other things. My guy enjoys large objects in his butt, so if you're trying to introduce a guy to anal play, this is not what I'd suggest. If it's for a guy who already has some anal experience, this is a fun toy, and the ridges feel great on the way in and out.

Follow-up commentary

As I've used the Tsunami more it's girth is no longer intimidating. With proper warm up I can reach a point of vigorous thrusting that I really enjoy. The only bad thing about this is that when I'm more warmed up the waves feel less prominent; good for thrusting, but a little disappointing when I'm craving texture.
I still use this primarily as a dildo and not a vibrator. THere is no visible wear or tear on Tsunami, and even when I accidentally had it stored in a bag with another silicone toy, nothing adverse happened. None of the supposed "melting" or anything. Tantus makes a tough product, and I intend to keep enjoying it.
