The Hands-Free Waterproof Buddy is intended for hands-free use. Its suction cup attaches to any smooth, slick surface, such as glass or tile. The dildo can be inserted vaginally or anally, since its realistic shape will effectively prevent it from being lost inside.

The most logical place to use this toy is in the bath or shower. It can suction easily to tiled walls, glass shower doors, or even the edge of a tub or top of a toilet seat. As long as the surface is clean, smooth, and relatively dry, the suction cup seems to work very well.

The material that this toy is made of is Loveclone RX. Loveclone RX is a porous, synthetically produced hydrocarbon polymer. I did not notice any scent or taste, but the surface of the toy is a bit sticky ,or tacky. It has a soft, relatively realistic texture which I believe users of any experience level will be able to enjoy. To me, the colour appears more peach toned than the light caramel depicted here. There may be some variation, so bear that in mind when purchasing.

The physical mold of the dildo is actually quite lovely. It features an attractive amount of detailing, with little wrinkles and subtle, veined ridges that provide extra stimulation. It is of average size and girth, but since it is really just a soft sleeve over a solid plastic torpedo-shaped vibrator, there is absolutely no flex or give to the toy. This could be a negative or a positive, depending upon your preferences. If you prefer a toy with more curve or more forgiving flexion, this may not be the item for you. If you like a straight, stiff toy for penetration, you may love the Buddy. Its solid body could withstand hard thrusting, while its soft, squishy head will cushion the impact against your cervix when using it vaginally.

I think this toy would have benefited from the use of a bullet style vibrator inside, as opposed to the solid plastic dial-based vibrator inside. With a just a little flexibility and give, the toy would be much easier to insert while suctioned to a surface and much more comfortable to use in a variety of positions.

This toy is not discreet or travel-friendly. It is very obviously a dick with a suction cup.

The controls for this toy are very simple. It has a dial base attached to a suction cup. You simply twist the base to ramp up the vibrations at a variety of speeds. The steady vibrations are powered by two AAA batteries and translate well throughout the length of the toy and the balls. The vibrations are a bit buzzy and in the middle of the road as far as strength goes. It is a very quiet toy when not suctioned to a surface. I found that in the shower, while attached to the wall, the sound is amplified quite a bit.

It does seem to be well waterproofed. However, the issue that I ran into was not one of water, but one of reliability of vibration, even in a dry environment. When riding the toy, the vibrations would periodically stop or stutter, as if the motion of gently tugging the dildo away from the base was breaking the connection powering the motor. This seemed to happen only when utilizing the suction base. When simply holding and thrusting with the toy, it was not an issue.

Since this material is porous, it should be washed with toy cleaner or soap and water before and after each use. Alternately, you can simply cover it with a non-lubricated condom. It is recommended that you avoid using silicone- or oil-based lubricants with this material. Most condoms are pre-lubricated with silicone lubricant. Be sure to select a toy sleeve or non-lubricated condom for this toy, if you choose to cover it.

It is a bit sticky, so wrapping it in an old t-shirt or storing it in a toy bag is recommended, so it doesn't pick up lint or hair. Whether it does or does not pick up any visible dust or dirt, because of its porous surface, simply give it a rinse before use.

The toy comes in a plastic clamshell packaging with minimal instructions. It would not make a very attractive gift or storage box.

I was unable to enjoy this toy. I found it to be too stiff and inflexible for me to find a comfortable position. Insertion was difficult because of its lack of curvature or flexibility. I found its unreliable vibrations frustrating. If the design featured an internal bullet or egg vibrator instead of a phallic-torpedo style vibrator with a Loveclone RX sleeve over the top, it would be a vast improvement, in my opinion.
