The Icicles No.21 is a glass dildo made by the company named Pipedream. They always have some of the best glass toys on the market. The Icicles No. 21 is no exception. When I look at his toy, the first thing I think about is Spring. The cute flower on it reminds me of the first spring flowers appearing in my yard.

First off, I have to talk about how beautiful it is. It's tall and clear. It's transparent, and looks beautiful sitting by a window. It allows the light to shine through the glass. There is one single red flower on the shaft, along with some green leaves that curve and swirl along the bottom of the shaft. The swirls and the flower are raised, and they provide texture to the shaft. The green areas look to be about 1/4" wide. I wasn't able to go far down on the toy to feel the textures, but they seem like they would provide a great amount of sensation.






The Icicles No. 21 is designed with the G-spot in mind. It has a generous curve that extends well into the upper wall of the vagina. This is a great G-spotting and P-spotting toy.

It's also great for regular play, alone, or with a partner. It's mainly used for vaginal sex but since there is a small flared base, it could work for anal. Just be sure to get a good grip of the base. Don't hold it with lubricant on the hands.

The toy can be used in a harness with a capable O-ring that will fit the size of the base on the Icicles No.21. I haven't used it in a harness, because I don't own one yet.

The Icicles No. 21 would be excellent for both genders. This glass toy is a little extreme in size with the bulbous head, so I'm going to say that beginners should look for other options. I consider myself to be an advanced user, and I had trouble with the size. I tried it solo, and with a partner, and both times, this beautiful toy took a lot of effort to get it inserted.

This toy is a breeze to use once you get it inside. Make sure that your hands are dry, because it can slip inside and possibly bruise the cervix. This is a heavier glass toy, and it can hurt if it's forced into the vagina unexpectedly. If you are letting your partner control the toy, talk with them about the safety of using glass. It's important that they know not to thrust deeply with a glass object.

I wouldn't use the Icicles No. 21 near a surface like concrete, or stone, unless there was some sort of padding or carpet around it.

Always use extreme caution when using glass inside the vagina or anus. Glass is not forgiving, and it won't flex to fit with your body. It's solid, and rigid. Thrusting too hard can also cause pain to the walls. The head is large on this toy, so make sure to tell your partner about your concerns.

One of my favorite ways to play with glass dildos, is to heat them up a bit, in hot water. Never use boiling water to heat the toy in. Temperatures at this level can cause internal burns.

Never heat a glass toy in the microwave, it can cause hot spots in the glass that can cause severe burns. The best way to heat up the glass is to put it in hot water, and allow it to be in the water for 5-10 minutes. Make sure to test the temperature of the glass on your wrist before inserting it.

Another great feature is cold water play. The packaging states to put in a freezer, but I didn't use any of those. I'll explain why below.

Our tissues inside the vagina or anus are sensitive to cold or extremely hot temperatures. If glass is placed into the freezer, and inserted inside, it can get stuck. Just like sticking a tongue to anything frozen. It's not a good ending.

I would say that sticking it in a refrigerator for a few minutes or into a cold bowl of water would suffice enough for a good amount of cold. With it being winter, you could place it on a towel or something safe, and place it outside for a few minutes.


This Icicles No. 21 can be used for a deeper tissue massage on the body, such as the back, thighs, shoulders, calves, buttocks, and other areas of your choice, because the head of the toy is larger and can really get deep into the muscles. The toy works really great for muscles that are tense and tight.

The Icicles no. 21 is made from Borosilicate glass. This glass is one of the safest glasses to use for anything. It's especially great in the use of sex toys. The Borosilicate glass receives a rating of 10 which is the highest rating on the Eden material safety scale.

If you've used kitchen items that were Pyrex brand, this is the same glass that is used on this toy. Pyrex glass is very hard, and mechanically strong. This type of glass is less dense than glass that is found in drinking glasses and other regular glasses. This type of glass won't shatter or splinter, if dropped. It will break into large chunks.

This type of glass also holds warm and cold temperatures very well, for a longer length of time than ordinary glass.
Glass is extremely smooth and it's also completely nonporous. It's very easy to clean with a sex toy cleaner, soap and water, or you can use a 10% bleach solution, if it's being shared. If you want to share, you can always use a condom with the toy, and then you would only need to give it a regular cleaning, afterwards.

There is no smell to glass, and there is also no taste. The glass is completely smooth on my Icicles no. 21.
Make sure to inspect your toy when it arrives. Make sure there are no small chips, scratches, or cuts in the surface of the toy.

This toy is not realistic looking. It looks like a whimsical glass sculpture. Most of the full shaft is completely smooth. There is only texture towards the bottom. There is a flower, and long leaves that are raised along the shaft. This provides some nice texture. This area is about 1/4" raised from the smooth surface of the glass.







The glass is very firm and rigid. I wouldn't recommend to beginners because of the size. However, if you are a beginner to glass; but you're used to toys or a partner that is over 5" in circumference, this could work for you. Just start out slowly, and take your time. Be extremely careful not to thrust too hard, or too fast.

The icicles No. 21 is harness compatible. It will fit into a regular sized o-ring.

The Icicles no. 21 is not your average straight shaft toy. This one has a curve that starts at the middle. This helps for a little better G-spot stimulation. The head is large, and bulbous. The head on the this toy may be intimidating for some people. I know it was for me, and I consider myself an advanced user with glass toys.
With the toy being heavy glass, there is no give to this toy. What you see is what you get. This large head isn't going anywhere. I felt every inch of this toy, and it was a bit painful. The head does have a tendency to get caught on my pubic bone, so this may be the case for you, depending on your anatomy.

If you are using it anally, the flared base will be easy to hold. The curve in the shaft can provide P-spot stimulation to male users. This is definitely not for the inexperienced anal users.

In reality, the Icicles No. 21 was too large for me. I didn't pay close attention to the sizing, because I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the toy. Size queens may love the size of the Icicles No. 21. Those who only like slender toys may have big problems with the Icicles No. 21, because of the size. This toy worked better for me when I had a great amount of oral sex beforehand. I was able to become fully aroused, and the toy wasn't as painful as the first time that I tried it. The head of the toy was what gave me the most problems. This won't be a problem for those that are accustomed to this size.

The circles No. 21 is not discreet, by any means. It's tall and it has a curve, and a large head. Most people would know what it was.





This toy would be pretty big to take for travel. If you did take it on travel, be sure to place it in its original packaging, with the foam insert. This will allow it to travel better, without getting damaged. If you no longer have the packaging, you can grab a padded pouch here. These are lifesavers, in case you do have to travel with your glass toy. These also work great, if you have to store your glass toys together.

The best feature about the Icicles No. 21 is that it can be used by males or females, for totally different uses. It can be used for solo play by a female, for vaginal sex. It can be used by a female for G-spot stimulation. It can be used for partner play by any gendered couples. It can be used for solo play by males, for P-spot stimulation.

The base allows for a great grip, and almost any hands will be able to hold the base, as a handle. I will note that the toy does get a little heavy after playing with it for about 20-25 minutes. I just look at it as a workout for my arms. I'm working out my arms and my vagina.





This now brings me to another feature that I tried with the Icicles No. 21. I used it for vaginal exercise. Since the toy is not lightweight, I used it for an exerciser. I inserted it about 3 inches, and then I pushed the toy out and pulled it back in. I used my vaginal muscles to do the work. I did have to use quite a bit of lubricant for this feature, because of our conflicting size issues. This heavy toy really worked out my muscles. I was very sore the next day. I did notice that my walls inside were extremely tightened after those workouts.

To do these exercises, I just simply held the toy by the base, and slowly inserted it about 3 inches into my vagina. I then pushed out the toy, almost all the way. I left about an inch inside, and then inhaled and pulled in the toy a little. I then exhaled, and pulled the toy in a little more. You can do a few repetitions of this, and then take a break, and then restart.

Since the Icicles No. 21 is glass, it's not flexible, and it has no suction cup base. This is harness compatible. You will want to find a harness that will fit the base size perfectly. The base on the Icicles No. 21 is not perfectly round. It's an oblong, or oval shape.

Overall, this would be an excellent choice for those who can handle the size of the head. It definitely fills me up. For that reason, it won't get as much use from me, as some of my smaller glass toys.

The toy can slide out of the hands quite easily, during use, or when any type of lubrication is on the toy. Use extra care when using with lubricants.

With the Icicles No. 21 being made of Pyrex glass, it's extremely easy to clean. All toy cleaners can be used on the surface, because it's completely nonporous. It can also be boiled to sterilize the toy for safe use, in case it was shared with someone.
To safely sanitize without using bleach or other potentially harmful chemicals in your home, you can use an alcohol-soaked cotton by wiping the full toy with it and then rinsing very well afterwards, or you can boil it in a pan of water, only for a few minutes. Make sure that no drastic temperature changes take place. For instance, don't drop the cold toy into a pot of boiling water, it can cause the toy to crack or break. If you take the cold toy and place it in cool water, it would work well for boiling it. Make sure that you've cleaned your toy thoroughly and then you can start boiling it.
To make the 10% bleach solution, use 1 part bleach to 9 parts water. All parts must be equal to one another. If you use 1 tablespoon of bleach, use 9 tablespoons of water. You can also toss your glass toy in a dishwasher on the top rack with no soap. This is a great way to sterilize it.

I grew up in a home where my mom used glass cooking pots all the time. They were made of the same type of glass. She cooked with these and these would end up being extremely hot from being on a burner for long periods of time, over top of a flame. None of her glassware ever broke. I always wondered if it ever would, but it never did.
This glass is extremely durable. Even though I don't suggest to you to boil your toys for a long amount of time; I've boiled all of my glass toys at a very high heat, and some together. I've never had any to crack or get damaged. This is just my experience.

Glass toys are not a high maintenance toy. They are easy to care for. The hardest part about taking care of them, is making sure that they don't get scratches in the surface. Always inspect your toy before each use. This ensures that you don't get a deep cut from something that may have hit against the toy. If you ever do drop it, check it out in a brightly lit area, or outdoors on a sunny day. This will allow you to see any imperfections.


Before I use any of my glass toys, I spray them with my before-and-after-toy-cleaner. This works excellent for before or after cleaning.
You can also use hot water and antibacterial soap.
Be extra careful while cleaning with wet hands, because the toy is slippery when wet. I clean mine in the sink on a towel, so it doesn't get any cracks or cuts by falling into the sink.

Any lubricant can be used with glass. Silicone is great, water based is perfect, and oil based could work for some. I wouldn't suggest oil based lubricants to be used vaginally. These can cause problems with PH imbalances, vaginal infections, and urinary tract infections.

The Icicles No. 21 came in a box that is just short of 9 3/4" long and 3 3/4" wide. The box has a picture on the front of the Icicles No.21.


The box itself says:

Since glass is nonporous, cleanup is a snap. Use Pipedream Toy Cleaner and warm water, or throw it in the dishwasher for a worry-free wash after the fun.



The front of the box has a flap that opens to reveal a clear window. Once opened, there is a view of the glass piece itself behind the window. The area on the side of the window are black and swirly and there are shiny raised damask patterns that are also glossy black.

On the flap, it has the same writing that is on the back of the box.

To get the toy out of the box, open the top flap of the box and pull out the foam insert. The Icicles No.21 is nestled inside this foam, with a tight fit. It doesn't move around, while in this insert. I would suggest to use this box for storage if you don't have a padded pouch, because this is the best option to keep it in, if you aren't using something with padding.


There were no instructions included with the package. The packaging is recyclable.

The box is not discreet. It shows a large photo of the toy on the front.

I really like the design of the icicles No. 21. If the head had been just a little smaller in circumference, it would get more use from me. It also gets caught on my pubic bone when I try to insert it deeper. This is very uncomfortable. The icicles No. 21 is not one of my go to toys because of the size. I have to plan when I use this toy. I have to be very aroused, and very lubricated. This would be an excellent toy for the right user.
