Something wicked this way comes
The Double Trouble Wand is a serviceable dildo with an interesting design that gives you two different sensations for the price of one.

Pros
Smooth and seamless; interesting texture; flexible but not floppy.
Cons
Unpleasant smell; cannot be sterilized.
The Double Trouble wand is decent, but far from great, double ended dildo. The very first thing that I noticed when I opened up my double trouble was the acrid "chemical" smell given off by the dildo and trapped by the plastic packaging. The true toy snobs out there have probably just clicked away from this review to look for a toy made with higher quality materials. If you are sticking around, you will be happy to hear that the odor did dissipate after a few washings with soap and water and a few days to air out. After a week or so out of the packaging, there is almost no detectable smell to the toy.
Once I got over the smell, I found the double trouble to be a pretty serviceable dildo. First off, aside from the bumps and bulges that are a part of its design, the toy is completely smooth with no annoying seams or imperfections, which is always nice to find in a toy. It is also intriguingly flexible. You can literally fold this dildo in half so that the ends are touching one another, yet it is not at all floppy. I was kind of hoping that the material would hold the bend, but no such luck. The toy snaps back into it's original, straight shape as soon as you let go of it.
At 1 1/4" in diameter, both ends are large enough to be felt, but by no means large enough to be overwhelming for most people. And, the "bulged" design make the wand feel much more interesting and intense than a smooth dildo of the same size. Plus, the end not being inserted makes a nice handle for thrusting, either for yourself or for a partner.
While this wand is great for manual thrusting, I really can't imagine this toy working well for any kind of simultaneous penetration. Although the toy is flexible enough that you could theoretically bend it into a shape for double penetration, the way the toy springs back into its original shape the instant it's released makes me think that this maneuver would be awkward at best.
Likewise, I think that trying to use this toy with a partner being penetrated on either end would be difficult and awkward. The wand just strikes me as a little too short and a little to firm to be comfortable for that application. I'm sure it could be done with enough tenacity and determination, but I think there are better products available if simultaneous penetration is your goal.
Speaking of sharing, you might want to cover this toy with a condom if you are planning on sharing it since it is made of TPE, which may be porous and cannot be sterilize. You can clean the wand with soap and water, and it is compatible with any kind of lube you might desire, which is nice.
Overall, this dildo is a decent design, but it just doesn't wow me in any way.

Follow-up commentary
20 months after original review
This toy melted into another toy in my collection, leaving behind a gross sticky residue. The other toy is fine.
