The Real Pleasure is meant for vaginal use. It has a narrow base and isn't really suitable for anal play. Its soft material may make it a good for clitoral stimulation if you are very sensitive to vibration. The toy is very soft which makes it ideal for beginners, but it isn't a small toy (about 5 inches around). On the plus side, this toy is as realistic as it gets. It is soft and flexible with realistic ridges and veins. So if you like your toys like the real thing, this is for you.

Being waterproof is probably the most attractive feature of the Real Pleasure. And honestly, in the shower or bath is probably the best place to use it because every particle of dust, hair, or cloth fiber anywhere near this thing will get stuck to it. I couldn't even lay it down on the bed without having to clean it afterwards. If you store your vibrators in a cloth bag or pillow, you will want to find another place for this one or you'll be spending all your time scrubbing it. I've never owned a toy that attracted things like this one does. Alternatively, I'm sure you could use it on your clothes like a lint roller!

The Real Pleasure is made of TPR which may account for how hard it is to keep clean. TPR is porous, so it's not a toy you can share with others. Right out of the package it had a fairly strong odor and slight taste, sort of a rubber taste. The taste disappeared after rinsing it with water but the smell remained for a while.

As I mentioned, this toy is very soft. The hard vibrating center is a few inches shorter than the toy itself which allows the head of the toy to be bent and squished. The entire toy has a smooth powdery texture to it that is pleasant to touch, and the ridges and veins are similar to what you would find on a real penis. Because it is so much like the real thing, the texture should be suited to just about anyone.

The Real Pleasure is a cute pink color all over. The head of the toy is a bit of a brighter pink. Its design is meant to replicate a real penis, and it accomplishes that very well. But it's big and obvious, so if you plan to travel with it, you may want to make sure you have a place to hide it.

The insertable length is about 6 1/2 inches with a little over 5 inch girth or 2 inch diameter. It may be too large for some users, so make sure you are comfortable with the size before ordering. The softness of the toy makes it a little easier to handle the size but using lube might still be a good idea. Because of the material, both silicone and water based lubricants can be used.

The Real Pleasure is operated with a dial on the bottom of the toy. The dial has a variety of intensities from barely existent to moderate. It isn't a powerful toy though, so if you need strong vibrations, look elsewhere. It's very likely that the soft material just absorbs most of the vibration. The vibrations don't reach the end of the toy either.

Two AAA batteries are required for use. They are inserted by unscrewing the black portion at the bottom of the toy where the control dial is located. It's important to carefully screw the toy back together if you are going to take it in water. You may have to be careful when turning the toy on and off to prevent accidentally unscrewing the battery compartment.

Initially, the toy wasn't very loud. No more than you'd expect of a vibrator of its size. It is loud enough to be heard outside of the room if your room isn't soundproof though, so if you have any concerns about roommates, this might not be an option. After a couple of uses, the motor in mine began to rattle loudly though, and I still haven't figured out why.

This toy can be cleaned with simple soap and water or any toy cleaner. I'd advise keeping baby wipes or toy wipes around to use for when it picks up lint and hair. You'll be cleaning it often.

Storing this toy in a cloth bag or pillow just isn't an option because of how easily it picks up lint and fibers. I store it in a toy box and that still isn't good enough sometimes. Your best option would be to keep it in a zip lock bag and then place the bag in whatever you usually keep your toys in.

TPR toys can be used with either water based or silicone lubricant. If you choose to use condoms on this toy because of its porousness, you'll want to avoid silicone lube on the condoms, but it is safe for the toy itself.

The Real Pleasure came in a clear plastic wrapper with Edenfantasys logos printed on it. It wasn't exactly discreet packaging in and of itself. There are no user instructions, but you shouldn't need any. The battery compartment does have a piece of plastic inside that shows which way to insert the batteries. Keeping the wrapper and using it for storing the toy later would be a good use for it.

I can't say this is my favorite toy ever, not by a long shot. It is simply too high maintenance for too little reward. It isn't powerful enough to make it worthwhile. It is a nice looking toy, but looks aren't enough to make a favorite of it. I'll be careful about ordering toys made from this material in the future as the dust and hair attraction really bothers me.
