This is my second glass toy- the first one I got was its immediate predecessor, the Icicles 17. The 17 is a damn near perfect toys in my eyes- it's long, smooth, elegant, and gives me G spot orgasms like nobody's business. I loved the 17 so much I was curious to try other toys in the line, especially a textured toy. I am a fan of studded condoms, so I thought I might enjoy this one, but alas, I was wrong- without enough lube it's like fucking a cactus!

Nevertheless, this is a very pretty toy with many good points. It's 7 3/4" long and curved, which makes it very easy to hold and thrust with- as a double dildo it's 100% insertable length. The 1.5" diameter is neither too big nor too small. One end is tapered and gently pointed, while the other end features a pair of chunky bulbs adorned with a pretty red flower. The shaft is decorated with blue nubs, which were much more pronounced than expected: each nub is about 0.5" long, and raised about 0.25". There are 20 nubs distributed across 4 inches of shaft- SERIOUS BUSINESS. You will need to use a lot of lube with this toy (any kind is fine, water-based is best) so that the bumps are not irritating, though this may make the toy tricky to hold onto. I quickly discovered I preferred the "double bubble" end of this dildo- the bulbs felt great on my g spot and I got fewer of the evil nubs. The pointed end was downright uncomfortable- the tapered head hurt my cervix, and I was dealing with a lot more bumps- not so fun. I think I could enjoy nubs if they were not quite so dramatically pronounced, and I am still willing to try a ribbed toy in the name of science. I would not recommend this toy for anal play since neither end is sufficiently flared.

For those who have not used glass before, it's a pretty special material. It's tasteless, scentless, hard but lightweight. It really hits the g spot well, but can leave you sore if you thrust too hard. You can chill it for temperature play, or run it under hot water, though I find it doesn't retain heat as well as my metal toys. Glass is easy to clean with soap and water, and can be disinfected by soaking in a 10% bleach solution.

This toy comes in the same style of box as all the icicles, which has a flap in the front that opens to display the toy through a plastic window. The packaging is definitely nice for a gift, but doesn't include a pouch or any other storage option. This is definitely not a discreet toy as it can pass for a marijuana pipe AND a sex toy. Don't leave it lying out when the parents visit.

I have been making an effort to use this one in addition to other toys, mostly as a warmup toy. I like the curved shape, and it's ok if I use plenty of lube with it. It won't bring me to orgasm usually, but I like it enough to keep experimenting with it.
