Pop goes the Twister...
The Small Twister dildo by Happy Valley is a body-safe, harness-compatible dildo that provides interesting stimulation, which can be both good and bad.

Pros
Silicone (can be sterilized), Harness Compatible, Bulbous head for extra sensations.
Cons
Head may be too girthy for some; Surface attracts lint.
The Small Twister is made of 100% body-friendly silicone, which means it can be boiled (for up to 10 minutes), for sanitizing between partners or between orifices. For non-sanitizing cleaning, you can just use soap and water, but pay attention to clean out all the ridges and under the head. The silicone is smooth and flexible, but not silky to the touch. It attracts lint and dust more than other silicone toys I have. It is best to use a water-based lubricant with the Small Twister as silicone lubes could potentially melt its silicone surface. It has a wide, flat base which makes it both harness compatible and safe for anal penetration.
What makes the Small Twister different is its unique shape. This is definitely not a realistic dildo. The head does have a frenulum-type indention, but it is on the top side if the dildo is used with the gentle curve of the shaft turned upward. The shaft has pronounced ridges that spiral toward the head, which is a little more than an inch wider in circumference than the shaft. By my measurements, the shaft is 4.125 inches around, and the head is 5.25 inches. This may not seem like a lot to some people, but it is very noticeably felt.
I chose the Small Twister because I like girth, but not so much length in vaginal penetration. I thought the head would feel amazing against my g-spot. I was right and wrong.
The pronounced head stimulates my g-spot quite a bit, sometimes to the point of being uncomfortable. I've not really ever needed to use a lot of lube, but with the Small Twister, I have to use a lot of lube and reapply it rather frequently. It's almost like it absorbs the lube and suddenly I feel the head is dry-rubbing the back of my g-spot. That is really not a good feeling at all.
I didn't feel the shaft ridges, vaginally, as much as I thought I would when my partner used it on me with a harness. I think this is because the head is so big that it becomes the focus of the feeling. I feel the ridges more when this is used on me manually and turned while thrusting.
All of that being said, when I keep it lubed, the sensations are really amazing. It produces a great popping sensation at my vaginal entrance, as well as against my g-spot. I like that it makes me feel full without making me feel overly stretched.
This is the first dildo I used for pegging (as the giver.) Because of the twists on the shaft and the pronounced ridge from the shaft to the head, I used a condom on the Small Twister for anal play. (I accurately predicted it would make cleaning it easier.) It is a little floppy for anal use, although still sturdy enough to thrust somewhat roughly and quickly. My partner greatly enjoyed the feeling of the bulbous head, and said the difference in size between the head and shaft felt quite good anally.
The base of the Small Twister is not quite thick enough to protect my pubis bone from the impact from me thrusting - although I don't really have a lot of natural padding in that area anyway. My partner didn't find this to be an issue when he harnessed it, but I think it is something you should consider if you are looking to buy this.
I'm giving the Small Twister 3/5 stars to reflect it as an "average" dildo. Although it has some great qualities (silicone, harness compatible, etc.), its particular finish of silicone attracts lint like crazy. The extra-wide head is almost too much bigger than the shaft, and the base is not really thick enough for extended comfortable harness play.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
I didn't give the Small Twister a fair chance for quite a while, but now I like it quite a bit more. It's definitely an acquired taste. It took practice and time for me, but I've grown accustomed to the bulbous head. I'm still not impressed with the way it seems to absorb lube, and since it can only be used with water-based lube this can get frustrating. I've found the best way to handle this is for me to use this as a secondary toy - something I use after I've already been aroused quite a while or even already had an orgasm.
In fact, I really enjoy this as a "finishing-off" toy: to achieve a g-spot orgasm and ejaculation at the end of playtime.

Great review!
The head is an odd thing indeed. I guess it's just not what I imagined it would feel like?
My partner doesn't have a p-spot so I can't attest to that type of stimulation, but I do think it would be excellent for it. The curve is small, but pronounced enough that turning it downward does make a difference.
Happy Valley is a great company. I have another dildo from them that I love.
