Pleasurably Pink!
The Raquel is a long, curved, and flexible VixSkin toy that feels realistic without looking realistic. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, and it's very plushy. However, for us, the flexibility didn't work well with the g-spot, and the length was a bit too long. If those things sound like they'd be good for you, though, you should look into the Raquel as a new, quality dildo.

Pros
Sexily plushy, Love the colors, Base holds nicely, Very flexible, Unique
Cons
Doesn't hit g-spot well, Can be a bit too long, Very flexible
Raquel, a dildo made from VixSkin made by Vixen Creations, is a body-safe silicone dildo. The dildo has a diameter of about an inch and a half at the widest point, and it is about 8 inches in insertable length. The dildo features a g-spot curve as well as a harness-compatible and suction-cup compatible base. The picture and the real-size widget on the product page are accurate.
The packaging for Raquel resembles all Vixen Creations packaging. It comes in a large, plastic tube that has plastic caps on it. The caps will come on and off very easily, and the tube itself will protect the Raquel nicely. The tube includes stickers that show the cleaning instructions and features of the dildo, and as it shows off the toy nicely and looks very classy, this packaging would be suitable for gift-giving. As the packaging is tube-like, though, you may have to come up with other plans for actually wrapping the dildo.
Raquel is made from VixSkin. VixSkin is a type of body-safe silicone that is made to feel like human skin and be very realistic. While I can't say that Raquel feels realistic to me, this may be because of the bright pink color; it's pretty hard to visualize this dildo being realistic with that color. However, it does feel like the other VixSkin dildos: only squishier. VixSkin basically includes two parts. There is the inner, firm core of the dildo which provides the dildo with stability enough to be insertable and stand-up straight, and the outer, soft, squishy portion that makes the dildo feel pleasureable and realistic.
Raquel is also one of the most flexible VixSkin dildos that we own. All VixSkin is flexible, but Raquel is definitely one of the most flexible. This dildo can actually bend in upon itself and easily make a U-turn-like shape. I wouldn't recommend doing this often, but it's just to show you how flexible Raquel is.
I don't know if it's because of the color or what, but the Raquel is one of the squishiest VixSkin dildos that we have. The only one that seems to rival it in squishiness is the Maverick, and that's just because of the sheer size of the Maverick. The Raquel seems to be very, very squishy, and that's definitely in a good way. I love the Squishiness of the Raquel. I love how it's also non-realistically colored, and I wish that Vixen would expand their VixSkin toys to include more of these beautiful colors. Along with that, the VixSkin seems to get even more squishy when it is exposed to heat. It has been pretty hot out, and when the post man delivered this VixSkin dildo, it was even squishier than it is now, so body heat will definitely make it squish even more.
The base is harness compatible which is what we mostly use it for. Because of the weight and flexibility of the dildo, when in the harness, the Raquel actually straightens out to look like a regular dildo instead of a g-spot one. The base is made of a beatiful, pearl-like color, and the base is thick enough to easily hold the Raquel with no issues. The base comfortably will fit in most harnesses, and since the bottom of the base is curved, the Raquel will also suction itself to most flat surfaces as well. That gives you a lot of good ways to use this dildo.
During use, you really can't expect to get any g-spot play out of this one. I know it's curved, and that's what I was hoping for, but the dildo is just way, way too flexible for g-spot pleasure for me. The g-spot responds to firm pressure, and the Raquel ends up giving anytime you try to apply pressure. This is okay as we'll probably mostly use Raquel as an anal dildo, but for our vaginal trials, this one doesn't work well for g-spot use. It also does require a bit more lubricant to be able to insert as the plushiness makes for an interesting sensation. The dildo is definitely a bit long though. I didn't use it inserted all of the way as the length seemed a bit too long. However, if you enjoy dildos brushing up against your cervix and find it pleasurable, this dildo could definitely help you there.

Experience
Cleaning the Raquel is extremely easy. You just have to use warm water and antibacterial soap for regular cleaning. If you are interested in sterilizing it, you can boil a pot of water with the dildo in it. It can also be bleached or covered with a condom to allow for multiple-person use. For lubricant, this dildo is only compatible with water-based lubricant, and for storage, I highly recommend storing this in the original packaging or finding another place where it will be covered. As it's silicone, the material will pick up lint and fuzzies, and if you want to avoid that, you'll need to keep it covered.
We do like the Raquel, but it just isn't a good vaginal dildo for us. The g-spot curve doesn't stay firm enough to pleasure the g-spot while the length seems to be a little too long for us. However, we both still absolutely love the dildo, it's plushiness, and its beautiful colors, so this is a toy that will hopefully see a lot more than just "testing" use in our household. I would definitely recommend it if you want a non-realistic VixSkin toy.
