This beautiful glass piece of heaven has now taken its rightful place as the jewel of my toy box. Although the original presentation wasn’t anything fantastic, (it came in a plastic rectangle with Styrofoam to protect it, but nothing to use for storing afterward). Toy Joy has created a masterpiece measuring 7 inches long (with about 5 inches of that being insertable... give or take), 3 and 3/ 4 inches round, and about 1 and 1/8 across. It has two threads of colors (blue and an orangey gold) that intertwine along the length of the Sapphire Waterfall. So even if this toy doesn’t do it for you, you can always keep it just because it is so darn pretty!

This was my first experience with tempered glass toys, and I can’t believe it has taken me this long to find one, I’m not sure I can ever go back to any other type of material! It’s phthalates-free and hypo-allergenic, which is fabulous. I have ridiculously sensitive skin, so this is a huge bonus! Not to mention it’s compatible with any and all types of lubricant, so indulge! It is incredibly easy to insert, is just glides in what feels to be effortless motion. A little bit of lubricant goes a LONG way with this delightful toy - it’s the adult version of the slip and side.

It has six beads that gradually increase in size and feel mind blowing as the body tightens and releases each bead in turn. There is a very large bulb at one end of the toy to prevent it from disappearing, if you choose to use this for anal play. I haven’t been quite brave enough to try the whole length, but the weight feels fantastic. I find it a little bit difficult in terms of controlling it for anal play, just because it is a tad heavy, but well worth the effort (or if you have a willing partner that would work wonderfully too!).

If you like smaller toys, than this is a gem for using vaginally. Alternately you can use it for kegels. It’s quite the work out contracting around those little beads, but you won’t mind ‘going to the gym’! Because it’s glass, it doesn’t have any give when thrusting, once you hit the end of your body, you have to be done. If you are using this vaginally and are looking for a slightly fuller feeling, you can always flip it around and use the bulbous end; it left me feeling breathless and full.

If you desire temperature play this toy is fantastic. I have never really had any experience with a toy that could change temperatures like a chameleon. I live in a basement suite and it’s always cold down there, so when I pulled this gorgeous toy out it was freezing cold. I was blow away by how the sensation felt, and then even more amazed at how it quickly adapted to my body temperature, escalating in heat. Alternatively it can be placed in hot/cold water to have the temperature controlled to your liking.

You can clean this beautiful gem by boiling it, bleaching it, or if you have the choice, slip it in the dishwasher. Which is especially convenient, I absolutely hate it when toys require specific and meticulous care details. It’s easy to use, and easier to clean - a perfect playmate! However, my favorite method of cleaning it so far has been to take it in the shower and bathtub with me (because glass is waterproof! Huzzah!). I can get it all dirty and then clean it all off it one easy step!

I really truly am in love with this toy. I am in love with the feel, the weight, the ease of cleaning and the beauty of this particular toy. For those who haven’t had the pleasure, literally, of using a tempered glass toy I strongly recommend it for its reasonable price and its luscious results. Treat yourself, you deserve it!

The durability of this product alone, makes it one of the most incredible products I have ever used. It certainly doesn't hurt that the Sapphire Waterfall is absolutely beautiful, with it's swirling blue and a gold threads that twist through the glass. It's easy to sterilize and clean, it doesn't cause troubles with my allergies, it slips and it slides, and it's got a rigidity that I find incredible and delicious. I highly and strongly recommend this product, to any and all who have ever even considered trying it out!
