The Softskins Veined dildo is a rubber dildo that has a unique feel that provides plenty of stimulation to get your motor revving! The Softskins Veined is made of rubber. The texture of this toy is perfect for those that want a little something to add sensation and feel more life-like, but not so much texture that its overwhelming. The outside of this toy is firm, but has a "squishy" center. There are veins that run all along the shaft and a pitted texture towards the base of the toy. These textures are only slightly raised, but nothing that would cause a great deal of dragging or "grabbing" of the insides. (I have had quite a few textured vibrators that just felt like they were going to rip out my insides!)

Rubber is marked as a 3 on the 1-10 safety scale. This material is porous and can harbor bacteria and other germs that will make infections easily had. With the size and shape of this dildo, I am confident that a condom will fit over it very nicely without leaving bubbles or slack on the condom.

I did not find any odor to this toy, other than when it first arrived and only slightly. After a few uses and washes, that scent dissipated quickly.

This toy is suggested to be best used with silicone and water based lubricants.

I love the design, shape AND size of this toy! It actually almost exactly resembles my husband! So, I would say it IS one of my favorites! The design of the toy is that of a just above average, regularly shaped penis. The color is nude. There is a very gradual, slight curve to the toy as well, which allows for g spot stimulation. Positioned just right, this toy can definitely hit a g spot!

I would say that this toy would be decent for travel. Its not a mini size or "travel size" by any means, but it would be able to fit into a pouch or small overnight bag. Trying to fit this into a purse would be pushing it though! Unless you have a purse like mine! Ha!

I have owned this toy for several years now and it still is going strong! The material is unique (rubber) and has held up very well. I like the feel of this toy too. It has slight texture to it, giving me that "life like" sensation that I desire, and also has the shape and size that I love. I would say that the size of this dildo is "perfect" for me.

Because this toy material is rubber and porous, cleaning this toy is going to be somewhat difficult at best. There are very slight ridges and pits on this toy, so you want to make sure to use warm, soapy water on this toy to loosen any juices or other fluids from these areas. After cleaning this toy with soapy water, I would recommend using an antibacterial cleansing foam or spray. This will ensure that you have killed off any bacteria or germs that was left behind from the washing. After washing and cleansing, I would take note of the pits and ridges. Make sure that there is nothing left behind. Sometimes, you may not be able to see anything inside of these pits or ridges until the toy dries and you can see flakes or dried bodily fluids. In this case, make sure to grab a Q-tip and dig out anything that you might see, then rewash and spray.

I have owned this toy for so long, I honestly cannot recall what it came in. I purchased this toy at a brick and mortar store, and I believe it may have been just your regular plastic clam shell.
