The Tantus Curve is 100% silicone, and it has a thick base that makes it great for vaginal or anal use, or strap-on sex. Alhough, the shape and size could be a bit too much for those who are totally new to anal play. However, for vaginal use, this is made for g-spot stimulation. It is a bit large and bulky for traveling, but I suppose you could keep it in a suitcase if you wanted to. It is totally waterproof and can be used in the tub/shower/pool.

This is silicone, so it is not at all porous. I did not really notice any odor from it either. Water based lube is the only thing that should be used with this, if you are going to use a lubricant. It is very smooth silicone, and it is a lint magnet. It has some definite flexibility to it, it is not super firm, but it is not soft either. It does have some ridges that run along the curve of it, which to be honest, I could do without, although they are not terrible. If I ever got to a point where I could use this anally, the ridges would probably stop me from doing that. I tend to not like ridges and textures like that, and I enjoy smoother toys, for any sort of play. The ridges could possibly be a challenge for a beginner, vaginally or anally.

The overall length of this is 6 1/2", though only 5 3/4" of that are insertable, the rest of that accounts for the base. The Curve has a diameter of 1 3/8", which should be suitable for most harnesses. It has a circumference of 4 1/2". This toy has a big thick base, which is not round like the base of some toys. This base has more of a teardrop shape. The peak of that teardrop shape sort of fades into a spine down the center of the curve of the shaft. I'm calling it a spine because it is raised up, something like a spine. The ridges run across it horizontally, down the curve of the toy to the head. All of that firm texture could be too much for some users. The curve of it makes it ideal for g-spot stimulation. It is pretty realistic looking, it has a defined head, shaft, and curve. However, the colors it comes in are pretty fun and not realistic: purple, midnight purple, and solid black. Plus, shape of the the base, and the spine and ridges, keep it from being overly realistic.

As I said, the raised up spine and ridges could make this too much for some. For me, that has already seemed like almost too much a few times, and I am not a beginner. Though, this toy does have a nice size and curve to it. The curved shape of it is what sets it apart from other dildos, and is the most appealing part of it. If you could manage the size and ridges anally, this might be nice for p-spot use as well. There is no way I could manage that, and I don't have a p-spot, so I couldn't speak from experience on that. The thick base may be a bit bulky for some harness, but it feels sturdy and makes it easier to hold onto manually. If you put a vibrating ring around this, if could give you some serious dual stimulation. It is thick enough that any vibrating ring should fit around it.

Being that this is silicone, and has not motorized parts, cleaning is a snap. Simple soap and water will do, or toy cleaner, if you prefer. This could be boiled, or cleaned with a 10% bleach solution. It is also dishwasher safe.This is a little bit of a bulky dildo, but it could be stored just as you would any other silicone toy. Remember, there are certain things that must be kept in mind when storing certain materials with each other. You could keep this in a Ziploc, or a pouch, or in a toy storage box. Since it can pick up lint and hair, you might want to look it over before use after storage.

The packaging seems a little excessive to me, but I believe it is recyclable. It is not at all discreet, you can see the toy through the package, and it has text all over it that would make it discreet even if you couldn't see the toy inside. This box would not really be convenient for storage.

Although the ridges, as I've said, can be too much if used at a certain angle or if you are sensitive, this toy is still great. The shape of it makes it one of the best g-spot toys I have. Generally, I'm not the best at g-spot stimulation on my own, but with this toy, it's easy. If it's not totally comfortable, I would suggest maybe warming up a bit, trying a slightly different angle or approach, and a little water based lube. Odds are, if you have a g-spot, you could have some fun with the Curve.
