Raquel is made by Vixen Creations and is a non-realistic, dual density silicone dildo that is an absolute treasure in my collection.

The flared base makes it not only safe for anal but great for using in a harness as well. Just be sure to completely sterilize before switching orophices or partners as to not cause infections or spread nasty stuff. More instruction on sterilization can be found in the Maintenance section.

Raquel is pretty floppy but dildos normally this long generally have this problem. Regardless, dual density silicone is something everyone should try at some point.

Raquel is 100% silicone. Dual density means that it has a soft outer layer and a firm inner core. The silicone coat has a ton of drag so the fact that it picks up lint and hair like crazy is not surprising. A good amount of water based lubricant will surely help with insertion. Avoid using silicone lubes on any dual density dildos because it will degrade the nice squishy coating.

Raquel is completely smooth and there are absolutely no seams or rough edges to worry about. The head is a little larger than the shaft but it doesn’t have that realistic penis shape. The base is nice and firm so Raquel can stand upright without falling over.

Raquel is really long but this means it would work well in a harness. Raquel is 8 ½” long with an insertable length of 7 ½”. I measured the head as 4 ¾” in circumference and the rest of the shaft with 4” in circumference. It’s not a lot of girth to handle but size queens and kings will be disappointed with this.

I already have had the Vixskin Mustang for a while so I was more than eager to get this because I love the texture of Vixskin. Yes I know Mustang is pretty realistic but he has his charm too.

I can’t get over how soft and squishy this silicone is. I love it. The smoothness can get a little boring at times but the softness is very pleasant. The shaft is slightly curved but it’s really not going to provide any pressure for the G-spot.

Raquel is not as curved as the Mustang but is a little more squishy. The shaft of the Mustang gets slightly larger towards the base but the shaft of the Raquel stays the same thickness.

The hard base of the Raquel gives me a nice area to grip while using. The base cups inwards a little but it doesn’t provide any suction. There’s no hole on the bottum to add a bullet or suction cup.

The Raquel is definitely worth its price. Silicone is a very body safe material that won’t feed your body nasty chemicals, plus it will last you a long time. I highly recommend checking this out.

Cleaning Raquel is really easy. You can use warm water and soap or a toy cleaner. It can also be sterilized by boiling for a few minutes or by wiping down with a 10 percent bleach solution.

I just keep Raquel in the tube that came with it. I would avoid storing Raquel with other toys simply because melting or bonding could occur.

The tube this comes in is perfect for storage. It can be a little tricky to open at times but knowing this dildo is secure makes me happy. There are some basic information on the tube, but the contents inside can still be seen so I wouldn’t leave this out if you don’t want anyone coming across it.
