Oh Night Warmer, I'd love to be warmed up by your lovely texture and settings! But since I have to clean you before and after each use, you are relegated to the back of my toy box. I'm sorry, but you're too much work for me!
For some reason I just want to sing "Night Fever" by the Bee Gees and see John Travolta dance? Is it only me?
Probably is. Either way, here's the Night Warmer. It's a traditional vibrator that has a realistic texture. It is designed for vaginal insertion. You can also tease the vaginal opening with the head (that's where most the vaginal nerves are). The top of it is pretty darn flexible, so if you're looking for firm G-spot action, the Night Warmer won't work for you.
The Night warmer has some girth to him. I would only give him as a gift to beginner friend if you wanted to scare them. Other than that, the Night Warmer might be intimidating to some. This toy is best for more intermediate and advanced toy users. This guy can also be taken in the bath for some shower fun if you desire. Either way, he's pretty discreet noise-wise and shouldn't tip off potential housemates about your activities.
While silicone, the Night Warmer is not recommended for anal use. It lacks a flared base so it could get lost inside the anal cavity. You could technically use it for anal play if you are both CAREFUL and determined. I would recommend a condom if using this toy anally or even to tease the anal opening. Bacteria could collect in the ridges and texture of the toy and make cleaning it more difficult (still, you're better off getting an anal toy with a flared base).
The Night Warmer is made of silicone. Silicone is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and can be warmed up before play (not too much since it has electrical components). The texture is made to be like a real penis. The Night Warmer is circumcised with bulbous glands. Beneath that there are some wrinkles. The shaft appears to be veiny for a real penis (or maybe I've just seen less veiny ones, who knows?) and made to add stimulation during thrusting. The bottom of the toy is made of hard plastic to contain the battery cage and give the Night Warmer some structure.
This toy can bend. Granted, it took a little force to get it like this.
Extra: If you shake the toy from the base, it will flap back and forth. Since I'm a big kid, it makes me giggle. Either way, that's how easy it is to move it about. If you apply pressure to the Night Warmer, it will flex, not provide firm stimulation.
The texture itself is not extreme, it's what the texture is on that doesn't make it beginner friendly. The texture is a good choice for an intermediate user who is still new to texture. There is an odor to the Night Warmer if you put your nose near it. It smells unpleasant, like preservative chemicals you smelled when you dissected your frog in biology class (sexy, right?). The smell dissipates after a few washes. That, and there is also some residue or film on the toy. It's apparent if you handle the toy then feel the skin on your hands. It's inconvenient, but this too also goes away after a couple of washes.
The Night Warmer is a pretty endowed guy. He's about 7.5 inches long wish an insertable length of about 6 inches. This is enough length for thrusting. Here's the Night Warmer's length compared to the clitoral hummer and the pleasure petals (pencil there because I always have a pencil there).
Length wise, the Night Warmer isn't too scary, the dimensions that makes this boy endowed is his girth. At his widest point, the Night Warmer is 6 inches around. Enough that I can't get my thumb and forefinger around.
Personally, I consider things close and over 5 inches in circumference girthy. Then again, everyone has different preferences, so the Night Warmer's girth may not be an issue for you. Also, a six inch circumference for vaginal penetration is different compared to 6 inches for anal penetration. Either way, it's best to be aware that this guy is a bit big. If you are new to vaginal penetration, it is best to make sure you are warmed up before using this toy and use lube liberally as needed.
The Night Warmer is not a toy you buy to travel with. This is one that stays in your box or nightstand in your home. If you want to travel with him, it's best to remove the batteries. Both of his buttons turn the toy on and are located at the base of the toy. He could easily turn when jostled around in a bag (and why leave yourself vulnerable to an embarrassing situation when you can avoid it?)
The Night Warmer has two buttons: a power button and a scrolling button. The controls are easy to use. Both buttons will turn the toy on. If you use the power button to turn the toy on, the Night Warmer remembers the setting you were on last time. If you click the scrolling button, the toy will turn on and will play the next vibration in the sequence (of wherever it was at last).
Here are the settings:
1. Strong Vibration: 4 Vrooms
2. Medium Vibration: 3 Vrooms
3. Low Vibration: 2 Vrooms
4. Accelerating pulses, repeat: 3 Vrooms
5. Low, fast pulses: 2-3 Vrooms
6. Fast, longer pulses: 3 Vrooms
7. Medium Pulses: 2-3 Vrooms
8. More spaced pulses: 2-3 Vrooms
9. long pulses: 3 Vrooms
10. Little rumbles: 1-2 Vrooms
This toy is pretty strong (especially for a freebie). It average around 3 Vrooms, but a couple of its settings are around 4 vrooms. The Night Warmer has a ring to keep water from the battery cage. It does fine in showers and in the tub I tend to keep the battery cage above the line of water to be cautious.
This toy is not hard to clean, it's annoying to keep clean. Especially if you have pets that shed (like a Corgi). The Night Warmer can be cleaned with good ol' soap and water, wipes, or toy cleaner. Debris is likely to collect around the head and veins of the toy. Don't dry it with any paper products or you'll get a whole bunch of fuzzies on it. Your best bet is to wrap it in a cloth to store it. I know that silicone tends to collect lint, but I might declare the Night Warmer king of lint. It's almost instant. Before use, you can always give the Night Warmer a quick wash.
Because the toy is made of silicone, it is best to use water based lubricant.
The packaging for the Night Warmer is basic. It is a clear plastic, cylindrical container that Eden uses for many of their toys. The packaging can be reused if you wanted. It folds and unfolds easily. It is bulky to use as storage, but is a good option for keeping lint from your Night Warmer (if you are that dedicated).
My OCD is kicking in when it comes to the Night Warmer. It has the residue, the beginning odor, and is a hazard to clean. I'm not a fan. Maybe if I by a pouch for it the toy won't collect as much lint.
Bleh. I'm not a fan of girthy toys but was willing to give the Night Warmer a try. Again, this could be my OCD, but I can't stand a toy that demands so much to stay clean. I have two of these guys, so I'll be giving the other one away. The on I've used will probably end up in the trash. It is just taking up space for other toys.
Follow-up commentaryI still don't like it6 months after original review
Eh. This toy is just not a good fit for me. I still think is has merit compared to other, similar toys considering it is silicone. But my OCD and maintenance for this toy isn't for me. I guess I'm a sex toy snob.

Thanks for all the details and pics. can the ridges and texture actually be felt or did it just look good?

Appreciate the detailed review and photos. I also recently received this a free toy with my order, and it's interesting to read what others think of it. I haven't had much of an issue with lint, but I am not real thrilled with it's appearance. Thanks again for the review.
