Not a Fun Wave To Ride
Overall we were disappointed by the experience with this toy. The pleasure bumps were more or a distraction than a source of pleasure, set-up and clean-up were a challenge and to have it tear after the first use was frustrating.

Pros
Flared base allows for use with or without a harness.
Cons
The material quality was poor and the bullet hole was difficult to use.
The Sedeux Wave by Sportsheets is flared base silicone dildo that works well in an O-ring style harness or can be used manually using the base as a handle. It has a smooth texture and a curved tip with four bumps that are designed to stimulate the G-spot. The bumps gradually get smaller the further down the shaft you go. It is about 6.25 inches long and about 1.25 inches in diameter and weighs about half a pound. Being that is made from silicone it is nonporous, hypoallergenic, and phthalates-free, however the box does not state that this is a 100% silicone product. The Eden web site has more information regarding the use of silicone in a product description at this link. Scroll down to where the silicone/rubber mixes are discussed to read more about this. Cleaning can be accomplished with some hot soapy water and a good scrub or a good toy cleaner. As far as lubrication goes we used a water based lube and it worked quite well, however silicone-based lubes are not recommended for this toy since it contains silicone. The base of this toy also contains a spot where a small bullet can be placed to allow for extra stimulation during use.
The Wave™ is firm yet flexible and did not have any noticeable smell when removing it from the package. We gave it a good cleaning before using it and noticed a few things during the cleaning process. The tip of the toy had a rough spot on it. I'm not really sure if it was a mold defect during the manufacturing process or all of these toys come out of the mold like this. It really took away from the smooth appearance however it was not noticeable during use. Secondly, the hole for the bullet is extremely tight, even with lube inserting and removing the bullet was difficult. It was also during the removal of the bullet for cleaning afterwards that the base got a small tear in it. One would not expect a toy to tear after the first use.
We tried this toy both with and without the bullet being used however we did not use it with a harness. The toy was easy to insert and comfortable and the curved tip did provided some contact with the G-spot. The bumps however were not all that stimulating and were more of a distraction. After turning on the bullet, the solid construction of the Wave™ allowed the vibrations to be felt throughout the length of the toy. The extra stimulation was nice and felt good but not enough to achieve an orgasm. Overall the Wave™ really was not a fun ride at all.

Follow-up commentary

We decided to try and take the Wave out for another ride and this time things went much better. This time we used it during some oral play. After getting me well lubed up with his tongue, he started using the Wave on the outside with the vibrating egg on. The sensations were very nice and really got me going. Once the Wave was well lubed up it slid in quite easily and maybe enough time had passed since the initial outing but it really felt good. He kept using his tongue on my clit while sliding the Wave in and out. The stimulation was really exciting and he twisted it inside so the curve would sometimes be facing up rubbing my g-spot and sometimes facing down giving me some really nice anal stimulation. I was really getting excited by now and breathing harder, he focused on my g-spot and increased his strokes with the Wave all the while stimulating my clit with his tongue, needless to say I had a HUGE multiple orgasm (lost count after three) and was exhausted when I was finished. I would like to be able to rate the toy higher but still hung up on the quality aspect but it really did work well. We will be using this toy again and I'm sure we'll get the same results.

Did you lubricate the bullet before inserting it?
-
BD; We did use lube with the bullet (water based) before inserting it. We have tried the toy again and will be submitting a follow-up review, we had much better results :)
