No One Likes a Sticky Cock (unless it's sticky with cum)
This penis has got it going on—it's big and beautiful. But because it's made out of rubber, it's extremely sticky and can be bothersome when trying to get it to be free of lint. Though the material could be better, this realistic dong is very attractive.

Pros
Coloring, shading of the veins, size
Cons
Very sticky, which detracted from the entire composition, condom required
Let me first begin with saying that when I first opened the packaging (which was just a cardboard box with the Realistic Dong in a plastic wrap), this dildo had already attracted lint particles. This is an extremely sticky attachment, more so than any other toy that I've ever had. Though it's beautiful in the realistic department (though I also have a few words to say about that), realism shouldn't be the only focus of Doc Johnson's work on this product.
The coloring of the Vac-u-Lock Realistic Dildo is absolutely beautiful—the picture shown (for the beige selection) does it no justice. Though it looks like a very hot pink, the head is actually a lighter, more realistic looking pink. The shaft is also a bit different as it's not as vibrant a skin tone peach as displayed. If you press the RealSize option, it shows the coloring correctly there, but the shown pictures are totally incorrect.
Even though this is the 7" option (as compared to the 8" option), it's very girthy at 5¼" around. This cock's head is huge compared to the length of the shaft—it makes up about ⅓ of the length—which makes this penis look a bit disproportionate. The testicles of this penis are very firm, as the whole attachment is made of a very firm rubber. It can be squished slightly, but mainly, it's just rock hard. The shaft can be moved around, however, and can flop a bit.
Keep in mind that this attachment will attract a ton of lint. I don't know if I've stressed that enough. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it's made of rubber or what, but it attracts practically anything that's in small particles, causing it to be very unpleasant to touch. Slipping a condom on it before use is a must not just for sterilization reasons, but because it's uncomfortable otherwise. It made my hands feel sticky and dirty (though not in a good way) immediately after removing it from the plastic wrap. It also has a strong scent, which is expected with rubber; not as strong as car wheels, but strong enough to smell through the box.
Since this is made of rubber, a very porous material, it's recommended that you use a condom for every use, if you plan on sharing it. It doesn't clean well at all, and it's also not boilable (though that depends on the type of rubber—I doubt that you can). When used with a condom and stored in wrapping, this cock will last for a very long time and through many uses. After all the time that I've had mine, it's still in good shape and the color hasn't faded at all. You can use water and silicone lubricants with this product.
Sadly, the Vac-U-Lock Realistic Dong does not hold lubricants well at all. When there is a lot of friction, it sucks it all up, and becomes extremely dry and can make you hurt. To fix this, I recommend using a lubricated condom whenever using this prosthetic. It actually has gotten me very aggravated when using it that it dried everything up—including my partner.
Because of the material used and the proportions of this penis, it's rated down. Even so, I personally love this dildo. It's very attractive and its size is great. For those willing to use condoms with their toys, this product is wonderful to have. But for those of you who don't: be forewarned.

Follow-up commentary
3 months after original review
This guy is still doing what I need for it to do. I've used it many times, and it's held up well, without any tears or rips or any color fading. The sticky aspect to the Vac-U-Lock Realistic Dong still bothers me, but I've gotten over it (as I always use lubricant or a condom anyway).

The blue veins on the shaft have faded almost completely, but the dildo itself is in perfect shape.

I wonder why the head always show up so freakin' pink in the pics? It makes the toy look aesthetically displeasing. Good to know it's really NOT that pink!
-
Carrie Ann - I'm not sure, perhaps the lighting was odd. And yes, I was hoping that it wasn't, and when I received it, was glad to find out that it was lighter.

Eww good to know that that isn't the real color! That really turns me off.

HAHAHA!!! You're cute, Lauren. Yes, it's lighter. And it's faded a LOT over time, actually, which is also a good thing! Thank you for the comment!
