Nexus Generation
The Nexus Jr. was just too small for my partner and I (in length, not necessarily girth). The 'wearer' end is at an awkward angle and kept falling out. The material degrades over time. The only thing I really love is the size/shape/flexibility of the longer end, for masturbating. I would not purchase this product again; though I might try for the Nexus Sr.

Pros
Can be used solo or with a partner
Cons
Surface quality, size is a bit small for partner play
When my partner and I first bought the Nexus, right out of the package we thought it was a bit too small. For double-sided play, the smaller end (for the wearer) wasn't the right shape for either of us, so it kept slipping out. The wearer had to keep holding on to the end (we both tried!), which was awkward. I wouldn't recommend this for play with a partner on its own - maybe it would have stayed in better with a harness over the top. That is a possibility.
The only thing I really like about the Nexus Jr. is that I enjoy using the opposite end for solo play; it seems to be the perfect size for me. The flexy tip hits my g-spot in all the right ways and the other end makes it very easy to hold onto for major thrusting action (I like quite a bit of hard, deep penetration). So unless you and your partner are very petite or do not like much penetration, this might be the way to go - otherwise, I might try the Nexus Sr.
I've had this product for a couple of years now, and the material has just started to break down and degrade, so I had to trash it. The material started flaking off in a strange way (from overuse!? I've never had a toy do this), so you might want to put a condom on either end. It is silicone, so I was unaware that it does degrade over time (I never used proper toy cleaners - just soap and water - so that may help keep the material healthy.)
It is fairly easy to clean, but has a strong smell right out of the package - not my favorite. The best thing I've learned from this product is that I really like a double-ended dildo for solo play (my wrist tends to get tired holding on to the small end of other toys) and the 6" "receiving" end that angles up a bit seems to be a great size and shape for me.

It's strange that the silicone broke down. I don't use toy blenders either, but I do know that it's important to use detergent and alcohol-free soap when cleaning silicone. It's possible that your soap may have been too harsh.

ahh very possible! i typically used an antibacterial hand-soap, so, yes, full of alcohol. thanks!

What a strange little toy. Definitely not for me but thanks for reviewing.

I've never heard of silicone breaking down. What kind of lube did you use with it?
-
Another thought - if you haven't trashed it, I might flame test it. Vixen Creations is supposed to be 100% silicone (or so says their page).
