My vagina's new favourite thing

This toy is incredible. Its lovely material, upwards curve, realistic detailing, excellent size, and superb stimulation all come together to create an amazingly orgasmic experience. This toy hits spots inside me I didn't even know I had! Highly recommended for anyone who craves serious internal stimulation.

First impression

I was beyond excited to get the Sensualist X. A couple of weeks ago, I had received my first rotating vibrator (a small TPR rabbit) as a free promotional item. I really enjoyed the rotating sensation, but found myself wishing that toy was a little girthier and more powerful, in addition to preferring toys that are silicone, waterproof, and rechargeable. So I set about trying to find the perfect rotating toy. Unfortunately for me, it seems that most rotating toys out there (especially on Eden) are TPR, not silicone....and of the few silicone rotators that Eden does carry, not all are waterproof or rechargeable. However, the Sensualist seemed to check all the boxes, and the original Sensualist (without the remote) had rave reviews. I opted for the version with the remote, just because it seemed like it would make the toy less awkward to operate while inserted.

The day my box of goodies was set to arrive from Eden, I woke up as excited as a kid on Christmas morning. I could not WAIT for my box to arrive. Thankfully, I didn't have to wait long. I hadn't even gotten out of bed yet when I heard the *thunk* of the box being deposited on my doorstep, and my roommate's dog gave a soft bark that let me know I hadn't been imagining it. I love it when my packages are delivered early in the morning!

The Sensualist X arrived with a few other purchases in Eden's usual, innocent-looking brown cardboard shipping box. Not even the return address ("Web Merchants Inc.") gives any outward indication of the nature of what's inside, so anyone with nosey neighbours or housemates can rest assured that their privacy will be well-protected.

The Sensualist X itself came in a rather classy-looking blue and purple box. While it does say "rotating realistic vibrator" on the box, those words only appear in one place on the front, and it's not written in very big letters. It doesn't have any pictures of models (naked or otherwise), and doesn't even have a picture of the product on the box, so I'd say it's pretty discreet. It does have the EdenFantasys logo, along with the words "the new intimacy" in several places, but that's probably the least discreet thing about the packaging. I think it would work well as a gift box if you intended to wrap it and give it to someone. Inside the classy box, the Sensualist X and its remote are held inside a molded plastic insert. A white USB charging cable is also included. There was no instruction booklet, but the outside of the box contains some basic information about the product and how to operate it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of this toy when I first saw it in person. For some reason, it had looked absolutely monstrous to me in the pictures and videos I'd seen of it. I knew from its dimensions that it wasn't THAT much bigger than some of my other toys (the Sensualist X is roughly 7" in insertable length, with a 5" circumference), but somehow it just looked huge to me. However, when I was finally holding it in my hands, it suddenly looked much more inviting and manageable, so I was thrilled about that. As excited as I was to try it, I'd also been terrified that it would turn out to be way too large for me, so I was beyond relieved to find it to be more manageable than I'd imagined. I was also impressed with the material. One of the reviews on the Sensualist that I'd read had called the texture of the silicone "grainy," which had sounded amazingly unappealing. I think I must have just misunderstood what they meant by that because none of my concerns about the feel of the silicone were realised. It felt nice and soft and silky, just the way a silicone toy should feel. It had some realistic texturing in the form of veins and wrinkles, but nothing scary or intimidating. I loved the look of the G-spot curve. The toy was quite firm and solid-feeling, without much bend or squish, but that's honestly what I expect from powered toys in general unless they specifically state that they're bendy or squishy, so I wasn't at all put off by it. The toy had some heft to it, but it wasn't overly heavy. All in all, I was more excited to try it than ever!

First Use

To get started, I charged my new friend (he arrived with a charge, so it only took a few minutes before he was fully charged) and cleaned him thoroughly. I use Eden-brand toy cleaner and rinse with lukewarm water, but you can also use soap and water, and if you feel the need to sterilise him, you can clean him with rubbing alcohol or a 10% bleach solution (just make sure to rinse him thoroughly after doing so). Silicone is non-porous, so he won't harbour any bacteria, body fluids, or other nasties. He's fully waterproof, so you can feel safe running him under the tap or submerging him. However, since he has mechanical parts, you CANNOT boil him or put him through the dishwasher. Doing so would destroy his mechanics and turn him into an expensive, stiff dildo. You could store him in the box he came in if you'd like, but I find that takes up way too much space, so I just keep him in a large ziplock baggie, along with his remote and charging cable. To be safe, it's advisable to avoid letting him come into contact with other toys (silicone or otherwise), since the various materials can sometimes interact strangely with one another. Also, avoid using silicone-based lube with silicone toys (stick to water-based).

I threw the sex towel down on my bed, pulled out my lube, my Eros rabbit (as a warm-up and clit toy), and my new Sensualist X (along with its remote). I took off my pants and settled back on a pile of pillows with my phone in one hand and my little Eros in the other. I read a steamy short story on my phone while I worked the Eros around my clit, and then inserted it once I was nice and wet. I threw my phone aside and just enjoyed the Eros rumbling my clit and G-spot for a few minutes, then decided I was good and ready for my new, larger toy.

Even though I was quite wet, the Sensualist is bigger than anything I've had in my pussy recently, so I slathered him in a generous amount of water-based lube (as this toy is silicone, it's best to stick to water-based lubricants; DO NOT use silicone-based lubes with silicone toys, as it could degrade the material). I had to apply slightly more pressure to insert him than with my smaller toys, but he slid into my vagina easily and comfortably. I definitely felt more "filled" than with my smaller toys, but I didn't feel over-stretched or at all uncomfortable. I thrust the Sensualist manually in and out of my vagina a few times, just to get used to his size and texture, and I found that he actually works quite well as a traditional dildo before you even power him on. That delicious curve in the head felt marvelous as it was dragged across my G-spot. I noticed that I wasn't able to go balls-deep with him; I kind of bottomed out with maybe a 1/2 inch of insertable length still outside my vagina, but since this toy doesn't have any sort of clit attachment, this didn't affect my enjoyment of the toy at all (and I'd suspected that I probably wouldn't be able to take his entire length; I think I have kind of a short vagina). Also, because of the way the head curves upwards, I never hit my cervix uncomfortably in spite of the length of the toy, even with some pretty vigorous pushing and thrusting, so that's another point in favour of this toy's overall design (I've had issues with my cervix getting bumped and bruised in the past with sexual partners).

Once I felt comfortable with the toy moving inside me, I held down the power button, and the red light at the base came on. I'll be honest, I kind of forgot all about the remote during my first use, so I operated the toy only using the buttons on the base. I turned the toy onto its first mode of function (the low-intensity steady vibration and rotation) and just sat back and enjoyed the sensations for a bit. It felt great, but I could tell right away that it wasn't quite hitting the right spots, so after a few moments of getting used to the new sensation of this big cock waggling around in my pussy, I started to fidget with the angle and position of the toy. If I pulled the toy about halfway out (I'm finding that I seem to have a somewhat shallow G-spot) and angled it upwards, it massaged my G-spot in the most wonderful way. This is the first toy that's really, truly felt like it was "massaging" my insides, and it felt amazing. I tried turning up the intensity (which only increased my pleasure) and started experimenting with some of the patterns. The patterns are kind of fun, but I honestly found myself enjoying the first three steady settings the best. I set it to the medium-intensity steady setting and reached for my Eros. Once I had the Sensualist dancing inside me and the Eros rumbling my clit, it only took a few seconds before I had a very intense orgasm. It actually sort of took me by surprise; I'd been intending to hit the boost button at least once, thinking I'd need it to send me over the edge, but I wasn't even on the highest intensity settings on either the Sensualist or the Eros! The combined sensations of the Sensualist vibrating and massaging my G-spot along with the Eros rumbling on my clit was incredibly intense. It was awesome, but definitely not a combination to use for edging, or if you want a longer session, haha!

All in all, I was a great first experience with my new toy and left me excited to use him more.

Further Experience

My second time using the Sensualist, I warmed up in a similar way, but this time I decided that I wanted to really focus on the Sensualist by itself, and see what happened when I didn't add a clit toy to the mix (though I kept my trusty Eros nearby just in case I decided I wanted it after all). I inserted the Sensualist and (this time using the remote) set him to the medium-intensity steady setting. At first, I only had him inserted partway so he could massage my G-spot, but I wanted to see what happened when I inserted him as far as he would go. I pushed him deeper into my vagina until I seemed to bottom out (again, with about a 1/2 inch still outside my body) and gently fidgeted with how he was turned and angled. Suddenly, with him angled upwards and turned slightly off-centre, he hit a spot deep inside me that sent intense ripples of pleasure through my pelvic region. Could this be the fabled A-spot (anterior vaginal fornix)? I honestly had no idea; all I knew was that it felt amazing. It felt similar to G-spot stimulation, only deeper, and it seemed to send those ripples of pleasure even further up my body, past my pelvis and into my abdomen. I hit a button on the remote to turn him up to his high-intensity steady setting, and caught myself moaning a little. Before long, I was writhing around and feeling close to orgasm, so I tried hitting the boost button on the remote (which is the button with the lightning bolt on it), and the toy suddenly started to really jump and boogie in my pussy, assaulting that deep pleasure-button inside me. I was cumming hard before the boost had even finished. I can count on one hand the number of times in my life that I've managed to orgasm from internal vaginal stimulation alone, with no attention paid to my clit. This toy got me there in a matter of minutes. I never even thought about reaching for my Eros.

Needless to say, I've been loving this toy. I've only had it a couple of days at the time I'm writing this, but it's quickly becoming a favourite. I still can't say for sure what that deep spot is that he can stimulate so well, but it was a totally new and amazing sensation for me. The great thing is, because the whole shaft vibrates, even when I have him inserted deep so the rotating head can massage that deep spot, the vibrations in the shaft are simultaneously stimulating my shallower G-spot, so it's almost like an internal dual stimulator. Perhaps that's why it can get me to orgasm without any clit stimulation. I definitely look forward to experimenting more with him.

I've found that the remote is great to use when the Sensualist is the only toy I'm using, but it tends to be kind of awkward and get in the way when I'm trying to pair him with a clit toy. If I'm using a clit toy, it's easier to just use the integrated buttons on the base to change his functions. However, I am glad I got the version with the remote. It was only a few dollars extra, and I find that so long as I'm not using a clit toy, the remote really helps to keep me "in the moment," since I don't have to worry about looking down and finding the right little buttons on the base. I think which version you get is purely a matter of personal preference, though. The integrated buttons on the base are not difficult to use, they're just a little hard to find by feel.

He's definitely not the quietest toy I have (as a rule, the more moving parts a toy has, the louder it is, so toys with features like rotation or thrusting tend to be louder than many straight vibrators), so if you're extremely worried about someone hearing your vibrator, this guy probably isn't the most discreet choice (especially when he's on boost mode). However, even on boost mode, he's not insanely loud. You might be able to hear him faintly through a closed door on the loudest setting (boost), but a fan or some background music should take care of that. I have a roommate (well, technically a housemate, since we don't share a bedroom), and I feel comfortable using this when she's home so long as I have some sort of background noise on (also, to be honest, I don't really care all that much if she figures out I'm using a vibrator). The loudness isn't an issue for me, but I figured I'd mention it, since I know discretion is really important to some people.

Vibration Map

The most intense part of this toy is definitely the top few inches, which vibrate and rotate, but the vibrations are quite strong throughout the entire shaft, so when he's fully inserted, he really stimulates the entire vagina and all the hot spots it contains, which is just.....awesome.
  • Very mild, low level vibration
  • Moderate vibration
  • Strong and easily felt vibration

Orgasm Intensity

My orgasms with this toy have been incredibly intense! He gets me off good every time.

Follow-up commentary
I still really love this toy. It's still one of my largest toys, so I have to be in the right mood for it, but when I want something big and powered, this is always my first choice. It's my only toy that both rotates and vibrates, and I really love the combination of those two features. It still gives me great orgasms!

Great review! This toy sounds wonderful! I may be adding this to my list of toys I want.

It's a great toy! I honestly wasn't sure how I'd feel about using a toy this large, but I'm really glad I decided to give it a shot.
  • Contributor: frisky069
Yeah, that's why it wasn't on my list yet due to it being larger.

I'm not sure I'd want to go much bigger, but I was pleasantly surprised at how managable and comfortable the size turned out to be, especially considering how firm and inflexible he is. Honestly, the only thing I don't like about how big he is just that he takes up more space to store. Most of my toys fit easily into sandwich or quart-sized baggies (a few even fit into those little snack-sized ones), but I had to bust out the big gallon-sized freezer bag for this monster, haha.

Yeah, I've tried one other toy that was 5" circumference but I don't care for the pvc material. The biggest toy I like using is 4 3/4c circumference. So I think I'd be okay with this one but I agree, the 5" is the biggest I'd like to go also.

I completely get what you mean! I store mine in sandwich baggies since most of mine are small. I actually have a few stores in their original boxes if they're good for storage.

Oops 4 3/4" for some reason I can't edit comments

I have found that for maximum comfort, I really do need to warm up with a slightly smaller toy first. Last night, I tried inserting this bad boy after I'd only warmed up with clit stimulation. I was super wet and turned on and the Sensualist was well-lubricated, but I still experienced a little discomfort inserting him. So I pulled him out, warmed up a little with the Eros inserted, and then tried again with the Sensualist, and it was a great session after that. I may eventually get to a point where I don't need a penetration warm-up to use him comfortably, but I'm definitely not there yet.

So yeah, if you decide to go for it, my best advice is just to not rush it and do a little warm-up with a smaller toy first. I've found that I really don't need MUCH warm-up; a few thrusts with the Eros (which has a 4 1/2" circ.) seems to be all I need, but for some reason, those few little thrusts make a big difference when it comes time to insert the Sensualist. (Of course, everyone is different, and you may find that you don't need that warm-up after all.)
