My pretty, popiscle penis partner.
The Silicone Crystal Cote Dildo really is a pretty and enticing toy with a slim and versatile that should appeal to beginners and more advanced users alike. The strong suction cup makes it great for all sorts of positions and the ridged texture is stimulating without being overwhelming.

Pros
Strong suction cap, lovely bright colours, rippled texture.
Cons
May be a little slim for some, chemical scent, slides around in shower.
The Silicone Crystal Cote Dildo seems like a bit of a mouthful for anyone to handle and though its colours look truly mouth-watering (Tangerine twist? Raspberry ripple? Gushing Grape? No?) I’ll just refer to it as the SCC from now on. Or maybe ‘that popsicle dildo I stuck in my shower’ if I want to spice things up. It’s a pretty delicious looking piece of work, about 5” long with a slim girth of about 4” and covered in a swirling ripple pattern from its head to its wrinkly balls. Mine is the fuchsia pink colour and it’s bright and fun, definitely feels summery and exciting. Yet, the selling point for me was its suction cap base, which makes it super versatile. The SCC is great for all sorts of play, even anal because of the solid balls anchoring the base, but be warned that it’s porous so you’ll want to slip on a condom if that’s what you fancy or you plan on sharing.
It’s made of TPR Silicone, which isn’t actual 100% silicone and as such can’t be sterilized or boiled, though the name seems to imply otherwise. Straight out of the box it has a pretty strong chemical scent to it, as most non-silicone toys do, which really bothers me and is why I don’t often opt for these sorts of materials. However, this does lessen with a few scrubbings and isn’t noticeable unless you’re right up close to the SCC, so I just wouldn’t be recommending it to practice your oral skills on. To clean it up for solo play some anti-bacterial soap and water should do the trick.
Though it’s not for the size queen, this slim design is satisfying for a number of reasons. The ripples feel lovely and because it’s not a gigantic toy they aren’t overwhelming, even for a texture-phobe like myself. The head is quite defined and thus can be felt when thrusting, but it didn’t catch on my pubic bone like others with that sort of ridge can, which again I can attribute to its small size. Whilst this is great and I do appreciate owning a slimmer dildo, I would like just a hint more girth to it for a more satisfying feeling. The material feels quite slick and smooth to the touch with some lube, which I’d recommend should be water based just to be 100% there won’t be any reactions with the silicone content of the toy.
The suction cap works quite nicely for me and is firmly attached to the dildo itself, so I doubt you’ll have the problem of it breaking off if you pull the dildo off a surface too roughly or play too hard. It sticks well to most firm, shiny surfaces, such as mirrors, bedheads, tiles, shower screens etc. and has a pretty impressive grip. In the shower I found it did slip and slide around a lot because of all the water about the place. This was a little frustrating and did lead to some awkward moments where it would slide out of place just at the wrong moment. I’ll also add that if ‘don’t drop the soap’ sounds like a good showering motto then ‘don’t drop your candy pink dildo and squeal like a child’ is an even better one. These blighters are slippery sometimes!

Experience
I was pleasantly surprised with the SCC. I am increasingly becoming a bit of a material snob because of my hatred of chemical smells and my desire to to sterilize my toys if required. As it's rather difficult to find a good silicone dildo with a suction cap I decided to take the plunge and try this one out and I'm really glad I did. The texture is stimulating without grating and the suction cap slurps onto most things I want it to, making it great to ride and thrust onto in all sorts of bizarre places. Though I do wish it was made of silicone, perhaps a tiny bit bigger and that the suction cap stuck more firmly to the shower wall these flaws don't detract too much from what is overall a satisfying toy. I'd rate it 4.5/5, but rounded down to a 4 because it just doesn't quite have the 'x factor' of what I'd call a 5/5 toy!
Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
After owning the SCC for a while longer, the fact that it's made of a composite material is beginning to wear on me. It's a lot of bother to use condoms in the shower, which is where I find the suction cap useful. The chemical scent is actually worsening over time, which is really unpleasant. Also, I have noticed signs of wear where the suction cap is attached, that suggest if you're too forceful with your removals from the wall/surface that piece may well become unattached.

Thanks for the review. Sucks that the smell got worse over time, that's not usually the case with toys.
