Give me some Skin?
Futurotic Slimline Ballsy just may be the perfect first vibrator for someone new to vibrators. The wonderful texture, slimline design, and gentle vibrations might be the first step leading to more tantalizing toys. Personally, I need a lot more than what it offers.

Pros
Futurotic material feels life-like when well lubed, great beginner vibrator.
Cons
Lacks enough power for those experienced with vibrators.
California Exotics Futurotic Slimline Ballsy wasn't expected in the mail today. But it's here, finally. Believe it or not, it's claimed to be better than the real thing: "...Will tease and please like no man before..." is another claim made about it. I'll just have to see about that.
The package is a simple clear snap open and close pliable plastic casing. There's a sample spot open for touch testing the Futurotic material. Moving my finger over the opening, I notice the hole isn't big enough to touch the material. Slimline Ballsy is marketed as "made of a revolutionary life-like Futurotic material".
Quickly opening the package, so I can see what this Futurotic penis is supposed to feel like, it falls to my bed. Picking it up, ew, I drop it. It feels yucky! Taking it from my bed, I march off to give it its first washing. I can use a toy cleaner or gentle soap and water. Hm, all soaped up and slippery, it does feel quite like the real thing.
Squeezing up and down the penis shaft, I notice that it's firm under the Futurotic surface. Ahhh, the surface material gives a bit, the closest to the real thing that I've felt in a very long time. The 2 1/4" of the end of the shaft is bendy to a 45 degree angle. It's also very squeezable, yet snaps right back to the original shape once my touch is removed.
Hmmm, feels very nice and slippery with the soapy water. Once dry, I sniff for an odor. There's a very slight odor, can't really identify it. Off for another washing before a taste test. After two more washings, carefully touching my tongue to the toy, I taste nothing. Yes, the very slight odor is still there, it's not unpleasant, though.
As a penis vibrator, anyone can use it vaginally. Use it solo or your partner can enjoy the fun with you anywhere private. In fact, thrusting as well as vibration are both options. I certainly wouldn't use it anally. There isn't enough length or flared base to prevent it from getting sucked in giving someone serious problems requiring medical help to remove it. I wouldn't use it in water since it's not waterproof. Oh, by the way, it's whisper quiet.
You know, really, the vibrator doesn't even look life-like either. The color is too light for one thing. I think the toy name implies life-like balls are attached to the penis. Nope, these look nothing life-like. There are some slightly raised areas appearing to be viens, not enough to make a difference in texture, feel, or appearance. However, the head does have a bit more definition.
Futurotic is a brand name for a particular softened TPE, thermoplastic elastomer, a rubber made of a combination of materials which interestingly, includes silicone. The material rates average to low on a material safety scale. But no worries, just use a condom and all safety issues are covered (no pun intended).
Moving Slimline Ballsy across my skin needs lube since there's such a strong pull, drag on my skin. Ahh, feels better. Huh, vibrations aren't as powerful as the information says it is, wonder why? Finding my clit, leaving it there for awhile with pressure; nice, pleasant teasing.
Unscrewing the battery cap at the base of Slimline ballsy, a plastic battery holder falls out. Never have seen one of those before. napping in two of my AAA batteries, I insert the battery case in, screw on the cap and twist the controller on. The controller is a dial at the very edge of the battery cap and is at the base of the balls.
Ahhh, yes, if I sit just so, much more taunting vibrations. The twist dial is kinda tricky to use without unscrewing the battery cap. Seems like there are two speeds. The first is like just turning the vibrator on and then the remaining twisting of the controller dial is all one constant speed.
I'm really getting to like the feel of the Futurotic material. The more I handle the lubed up penis. Without the lube, it almost feels tacky to the touch. Futurotic has been compared to Cyberskin, also a life-like texture. I have a toy made of Cyberskin. They don't feel the same to the touch at all. I actually like how Cyberskin feels.
There are several instructions on the package insert. Use a lube safe for rubber toys only, for the protection of the Slimline Ballsy's material. Be very careful not to get the battery pack wet. Always wash before and after use. Don't share with a partner unless condoms are used. As always, remove batteries when not using the vibrator.

Experience
Futurotic Slimline Ballsy claims to be a curved penis. I don't see a curve worth mentioning. The length of it is 7 3/4" with 5 1/2" insertable. Diameter of the penis is 3 1/2". Not enough girth for me even though I'm very tight and small inside.
Futurotic is a porous material & rates low to low-average on a safety scale. Care is needed in keeping it clean & covered. It will absorb other materials it comes in contact with if not handled properly. So, I keep it inside a baggie after lightly dusting with cornstarch to preserve the life-like material. It's also very important to store separately from other toys in a dark cool place.
Slimline Ballsy definitely "screams" PENIS. I have a safe place to hide it from everyone's curious eyes. I certainly wouldn't travel with it. Plus it's a high maintenance toy requiring special care, which puts a crimp into most travel plans, I would think.
Ahhhhh, now for the real reasearch. I hope a test drive of the vibrator proves orgasmic! Sitting on my bed, Slimline in one hand lube in another - yup, I lubed that unlife-like penis up. Well, a penis is a penis, right? Come on, none of the real ones are perfect.
Turning the vibrator on, running Slimline over my body, gentle vibrations. Moving back to my clit, taunting vaginal lips, more clit teasing. Oooh, time to penetrate, yes penetrate. Inside, deep inside it moves. Mmm, the vibrations are less powerful, but the thrusting, oh my....lube, more lube. Wet, slippery, slippery, I'm there. In & out, in & out, twisting, twisting, in & out, I'm there. YES, I'm there!
I used the balls to hold onto since the battery cap provided no real grasp to hold. The vibrations weren't strong enough for any real enjoyment when inserted, though thrusting certainly worked well. The Futurotic material does feel somewhat similar to the real thing when well lubed; so much more different than all the other insertable toys I have.
I'm really getting to like the feel of the Futurotic material the more I handle the lubed up penis. Without the lube it almost feels tacky to the touch. It can become sticky or tacky without proper care of dusting with a non-talc powder or cornstarch when stored.
Recapping some important information: there's no taste or odor of the life-like Futurotic material, it's porous and rates low to low-average on a safety scale. Slimline Ballsy is somewhat penis shaped, veined, & feels like the real thing when well lubed, the low-medium speed twist dial is at the end of the battery cap, it isn't waterproof, it's whisper quiet, it requires a dusting of cornstarch to preserve the material and needs to be stored separately from other toys to prevent material reactions. Clean with gentle soap & warm water or toy cleaner, use a rubber compatible water based lube. If using a condom, be sure it's rubber compatible.

I wish there was an option to say it's still 'ok' & it's still 'ok' because that's what I think. This vibrator is a great vibrator for those new to vibrators as well as anyone wanting a more realistic one like a real penis. I's just not ok for me.
I have tried many vibrators since the writing of this review. I now know much more about vibrators and what I like. And just because it doesn't do much for me doesn't mean someone new to vibrators or looking for a more realistic vibrator wouldn't enjoy it.
