The Red cyclone wand from SSA Glass was my first glass toy I have ever owned. It was a great introduction into the whole glass toy world. You can use it for insertion or clitoral stimulation. I would be very cautious using it for anal, seeing how there is not a flared end. I would also be careful thrusting too hard, it could bruise your insides easily. You could use for solo play or partner play.
I think this is a great for a beginner in the glass world, and an advanced toy player. You can use in water and out. You can also use it warm or cold, it gives it a big diversity in this toy. It is not operated with batteries so you can use in a dorm room or with people in the next room. You could also use with your partner asleep in the bed. However you use it, I would be careful with the glass toy it is glass and if you would drop it it could damage it. Make sure you inspect your toy before use if dropped.
This glass toy is smooth at one end through the shaft of the toy and at the other end of the toy is an end with bumps around it.
The Red cyclone wand is made from Pyrex glass. Pyrex is a brand name for borosilicate glass. Borosilicate glass is made when adding boron into the mixture of sand, soda and ground lime. Glass is an inorganic non metallic material that does not have a crystalline structure. These materials are amorphous and are virtually solid liquids cooled at such a rate that crystals have not been able to form. Pyrex also helps it be less prone to breakage if dropped. It also allows the toy to be able to retain temperature. You will also need little lube to get that slippery affect. This is also made form a non porous material.
The design of this wand is very nice. At one end is a smooth head and an end with raised bumps around the middle. There is also a lump in the middle of the shaft. It is 8 1/4 inch long, with 6 1/2 inches being insertable. The circumference is 4 1/2 inches, with 1 3/8 inches being the diameter of the widest point of the toy. It weighs 9 ounces. It does not look like any male genitalia, the two heads are pointed.
I think that the girth of this toy is great. It would be a great starter for someone looking to try a larger size girth. It is not too large and I don't think you would be disappointed. I also like that there is two different heads with different textures.
This does not look like a normal sex toy, this being said if someone were to stumble upon it they might not realize what it is. If you are going to take this traveling I would suggest that you take is in the cloth case it comes with and you might want to wrap it in a towel or some of your clothes. That way you could have a little extra protection against something happening to it.
I can not find anything really wrong with this toy. I really like it. We stuck it in a large zip lock baggy full of ice that had been sitting out for a while, and had collected the water from the ice melting. It was a feeling that I have never experienced before. I would love to play with it like that again. I also have played with it warmed, I placed it under my heating pad for fifteen minutes. Wow that was great too I love this toy for temperature play. Even not heated or cooled it got the job done. I loved to feel the bumps on the end during clitoral stimulation.
Care and maintenance is easy for the Red Cyclone since it is made out of a non porous material. You can use some soap and water or some toy cleaner for every day cleaning. Once in a while I suggest boiling it to disinfect it. You also want to boil it if shared. I suggest using a condom if sharing or using anally. Also make sure that you pay special attention around the bumps on the head of the toy.
I would store it in the cloth bag it comes in. If it is stored with other glass toys you run the chance of hitting them together and chipping or cracking them, the same with other toys. Remember that if you crack or chip your glass toy you should not use. I keep mine in the cloth case and in the toy box I have that way they won't be getting knocked around with the other toys.
My red cyclone wand came wrapped in bubble paper inside the red soft carrying bag. I use this to keep it in now. There were no papers telling me what it was or how to take care of it. There were no instructions at all that came with this toy.
