When I opened the box, the size got to me. It looked so HUGE, so that's why I don't recommend this toy for beginners, and why I feel one should work their way up to a toy like this. My experience with the suction cup was rather an adventure; I used it in the shower. This toy came in a classic plastic clear package nothing fancy. It had no information about the toy but that it's 8" and has a suction cup. The toy itself is very self-explanatory, but I feel with jelly-based toys, they should come with information on how to care and store the product. I would give this toy as a gift to a really close friend, but I would gift wrap it first because it is a see-through package. I would not use this as a storage box, because the toy should be kept in a dark place.
