What a Cavalier Attitude by Jimbo Jones
Mount My Ass, You Cavalier!
The Cavalier is a mighty fine ride. With graduated beads, plush silicone, and suction-cup base, this Fun Factory dildo is great for a range of uses: from warming up to thrusting; vaginal to anal; and hand-held, sans-hand, with partner, or harnessed. This toy is ideal for beginners and intermediates; advanced users may be left with a hankerin' for a little more giddy-up. Overall, the Cavalier is, I reckon, a mighty good mount that will have you ridin' off into an orgasmic sunset in no time!

Pros
High quality. Graduated beads. Easy to use/clean. OK for vaginal, great for anal. O-ring compatible.
Cons
Texture purely aesthetic. Suction cup finicky. No curve for G/P-spotting. Not very filling. $!

Use
Lookin' for a good time? Wanna ride? Then saddle up with the Cavalier! With its slick silicone and graduated bulbs, this Fun Factory dildo (what the company calls a "Stub") is a smooth ride. The Cavalier isn't picky when it comes to mounters: the toy is O-ring compatible and suitable for both vaginal and anal play. And with its suction-cup base, this toy can be mounted solo (Look, Ma! No partner or hands!). The Cavalier is extremely well-crafted, of quality material, and graduated size. However, this toy is not very filling and is best used for anal purposes by those with a hankerin' to begin explorations of the Deep South, as well as those wanting to light out for the vaginal territory for the first time. The Cavalier is a mighty fine mount, but more experienced riders may be left wanting. However, if it's an anal adventure or a great way to start gettin' off that you're looking for, then get on the Cavalier and mount away!
NOTE: While the Cavalier is O-ring compatible, I don't own a harness, so I am not able to give those kinds of insights.

Material / Texture
This stud of a "Stub" is made of 100% silicone that is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and latex- & phthalates-free. This dildo's material has little drag to it; the silicone is slick rather than velvety. The Cavalier is made with silicone that is firm, but still flexible and with enough give for a painless experience. The smaller the bead, the squishier it is, with the smallest and top-most bead being quite cushy and the largest and bottom-most bead being fairly resistant. Overall, the toy easily bends beginning at the notch above the last of its four bulbs; above this point, the toy can bend in all directions. The material is forgiving enough that the original shape is not easily distorted. There is only one seam on the entire toy, and it's around the base, so it's negligible. The silicone has no smell and no taste. The toy does tend to collect some dust, but it's not a lint hoarder.
The Cavalier has mild texture in the form of a pattern which alters the size of each bead on one side. The girth of the bead recedes, exposing a slightly shallower surface. This texture is in the form of an alternating S-pattern, meaning that every other bead's girth is receded on the same side. But what does this texture do or feel like? Well... not much, on both counts. The alternating "texture" creates a lip of approximately 1mm that protrudes from each graduated bead. Honestly, this texture is very minimal and cannot be felt during use. If you can feel the texture during use, you're pretty much a character right out of that Princess and the Pea tale. If you can't feel it, ride on! The texture is, I think, for aesthetics anyways.
As a final note, the material's finish differs depending on whether or not it is the receding or girthy portion: the girthy part of the beads, as well as the base, have a matte finish; the receded, slightly shallower, "exposed" portions have a shiny finish. The material is designed to be not only highly functional, but quite beautiful, too!

Design / Shape / Size
The Cavalier stands at approximately 6.4375", with an insertable length of about 5.5625". The dildo itself stands very erect; there is no curvature of the insertable portion, which can make G/P-spotting difficult (see Performance section). The Cavalier's tippy top is quite small, and its base is about the girth of the average dildo. The Cavalier's primary design feature is its graduated beading. This dildo has four tear-drop shaped beads with gentle curves between them. Because the beads are of varying widths, their circumferences differ. To give a better idea of the size differences, here are their respective circumferences (in order from top of dildo to base): top bead 2.75"; 3.375"; 4"; bottom bead 4.5". As noted, the area between the beads is not severely cinched. This aspect of the design is great because the Cavalier can easily slide into whatever crevice you'd like, while still allowing you to pleasurably experience the mounting size. There is no painful forcing the next, bigger bead inside.
The Cavalier's shaft, however, does have a rather annoying trait. The S-patterned "texture" culminates in a curved and rounded peak at the top of the first and smallest bead. This peak is part of the design--and even though it's not a "flaw," it's still annoying. Although the rest of the texture cannot be felt during use, the peak can be felt... and, unfortunately, it's pokey. The peak is nothing that will do damage to your insides (since it's soft, rounded, and flexible) and does not affect the Cavalier's performance. However, it can cause some mild discomfort (more an annoying reminder "there's that damn peak again" than a painful "ouch!").
The base of the Cavalier is quite nifty! The base is shaped like a triangle, but with curves instead of points.* In keeping with the overall look and feel of the dildo, the base is firm, squishy, and rounded out. The base is ergonomically shaped and fits quite comfortably in the palm of your hand. If you'd rather not use your hands or play round-up with a partner, well lucky for you! The base of this dildo serves a second purpose: it's a suction cup! The suction-cup base allows you to mount this toy sans hands, so long as there is a hard and flat surface to which the Cavalier can stick. For information on how the suction cup performs, please see the Performance section.
*I did not learn the name of this shape in kindergarten. If you know what it's called, holler.

Performance
The Cavalier is a good ride, and it performs well. Although this toy can be used for both vaginal and anal use, it is better suited for anal adventures. Here's why: The Cavalier is pretty darn straight. Without any kind of curve to its shaft, it is difficult to reach and stimulate the G-spot (and perhaps, I imagine, the P-spot) with this toy. And even though the toy bends a great deal, it's difficult to maneuver the Cavalier in such a way that it hits just the right spot. The dildo also does nothing for clitoral stimulation; although the dildo is flexible, it is neither long nor bendable enough to rub against the clitoris while the shaft is inserted. Finally, the toy is not very filling until its second to last bead. Of course, all of the beads can be felt when inserted vaginally; they just don't do much. However, if experimenting with vaginal penetration in general for the first time, this toy will perform very well and will, in fact, be ideal because of its gentle graduated beading and plush material.
The Cavalier performs best when mounted anally. The silicone material is soft and flexible enough for pleasurable insertion, yet still firm enough so that the dildo isn't stubborn in entering/exiting. The shaft of the toy feels awesome during anal! The graduated beads slide comfortably in, with pleasure mounting as beading size increases. The graduated size of the shaft allows users to control how much is inserted (both width and length-wise). This toy is great for building up to a larger circumference, whether it be the next bead on the Cavalier or a larger toy. While this toy is very pleasurable, it is by no means overwhelming, even during anal use (and by overwhelming I mean both "too much to handle" and "blow your socks off pleasureful"). However, it does provide a wonderfully sensual experience, especially for those exploring anal for the first time. Used anally, this toy will be most pleasurable for beginner to intermediate users. More advanced users may be underwhelmed by the Cavalier's girth.
The suction cup is great... when it works. It can be a bit choosey when it comes to stickable surfaces. However, when the suction cup does work, it really works--it can even be difficult to pry the Cavalier off of whatever surface it's on! I've found that the suction cup performs best when the shaft is vertical. This may sound boring, but it's not! (see Experience section for details) When attached horizontally, say to a wall, the suction is less stable, and the Cavalier can fall rather easily. This can be rather frustrating. As an added note, the suction cup of the Cavalier works best when it is wet (shower play is ideal with this toy!).

Care and Maintenance
The Cavalier is quite easy to care for, thanks to its fabulous silicone material! This toy can be cleaned with soap and hot water, washed in the dishwasher, boiled, and bleached. Because silicone is non-porous, cleaning this toy means that it will be 100% sterilized. As a result, the Cavalier can be shared between partners and anal/vaginal orifices without a condom, provided that it is thoroughly cleaned between each use. Additionally, the toy should be cleaned before and after every play session. After washing, the Cavalier should be left out to dry. Once the toy has dried, it should be stored in a dry, sterilized location, where it will not come into contact with other silicone toys. The original packaging for the Cavalier can be used as storage (see Packaging section).
If using a lubricant with the Cavalier, avoid using those that are silicone and oil-based. Use a water-based lube to ensure that this toy keeps its original shape and sheen.

Packaging
Fun Factory's packaging is absolutely wonderful. The box which the Cavalier comes in is glossy, colorful, and extremely informative. The sides of the box showcase a labeled diagram of the Cavalier and general information about Fun Factory's dildos, or "Stubs." The box looks quite polished, with its red, beige, and silver colors and elegant design. The packaging itself is of quality make and is suitable for gift-giving. One thing the packaging is not, however, is discreet. The front and back of the box are open and clearly display the Cavalier inside its plastic clamshell.
The plastic clamshell itself is uniquely molded to fit the design of the Cavalier. The majority of the clamshell is rectangular; however, towards the bottom, the clamshell narrows into a cylindrical shape so that the final bead of the shaft is secure. Beneath the cylinder, the clamshell flares out into a rectangle again in order to house the base of the toy. This clamshell shaping is great because it keeps the Cavalier upright, preventing it from leaning and becoming deformed.
Within the clamshell are the dildo, two pamphlets, and a free packet of Fun Factory lube. The first pamphlet is a flier containing information about the German company, as well as all of the products they carry. The toys are beautiful to look at, and it's great that Fun Factory provides a complete look at their collections in this layout. The second pamphlet is all about Fun Factory's silicone toys. The pamphlet includes general information about silicone, as well as more specific information regarding the certain types of their silicone toys (i.e. - there is a subsection on "Stubs," with a tiny graphic of the Cavalier next to it). The information found in both pamphlets is translated into six languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian. Finally, the Cavalier comes with a single serving of Toyfluid, Fun Factory's water-based lubricant that is latex safe. The packet includes 4mL of the lube.
The ingredients of Toyfluid are as follows: Aqua, Glycerin, Ethoxydiglycol, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol / Methylisothiazolinone / Methylchloroisothiazolinone.

Personal comments
As I've already noted, I think this toy will work best for beginner to intermediate-level users. Those wanting to explore vaginal penetration for the first time will have a great time with this quality, flexible, and squishy toy. Similarly, those wanting to explore anal penetration will appreciate this toy for its modest sizing which builds with every bead. The Cavalier is also a great warm-up toy, as well as a training toy for those who'd like to work up to a larger girth.
The Cavalier is well-crafted, beautiful, safe, and made to last. Mount away!

Experience
Overall, I have had pleasurable experiences with my Cavalier, from first opening its package to our repeated rides together. This is my first Fun Factory product, and I am quite impressed with the quality and make of the toy, as well as the provided information. The Cavalier itself is quite a beaut and a pleasure to ride! I love the way that this toy feels anally. I appreciate being able to control how much of the dildo is inserted--and how wide that inserted portion is. I consider myself to be at an intermediate level when it comes to anal play, and I am able to take the Cavalier up to the middle of its fourth and final bead. This is very pleasurable--not overwhelming, but certainly not underwhelming for me either. When using the suction cup, I find it most pleasurable (and practical) to stick the dildo on the floor and go to town! I enjoy, riding the dildo up and down in a repeated squatting position, as well as riding the toy while doing splits. I especially enjoy using the Cavalier in the shower, since the suction is best when the toy is slightly wet. I have tried to stick the Cavalier to the shower wall, but it was difficult to make the toy stay put and insert the brunt of the dildo (especially since there is no curvature to the shaft). I consider the suction cup a finicky bonus, not a primary feature or function of this toy. Anal penetration is how I will continue to use this toy. Vaginally, the Cavalier does not do much of anything for me. But, oh well! We'll ride on! Mount my ass, Cavalier! Yee-haw!
