Visually appealing it may be, but the overall shape of this toy didn't do a thing for me. It's a great toy if you're a little wary of all the bends and twists that glass toys have. Because of that, it is a wonderful first glass dildo for testing the waters. The size isn't too big, but you do have to be careful of thrusting too hard and deep because it is possible to bruise yourself on such a solid toy. This toy probably won't be scary to anyone looking to try out a glass toy for the first time and just might lead the way to more experimental purchases in the future.

Whether solo or with others, this toy can be used for a variety of activities. There's no real reason to not use it both vaginally and anally, but just don't expect to have it stay in on its own. You can have fun letting it soak in hot or cold water for some temperature play, and even switching it out with other glass toys heated or chilled opposite. If you want something a little more unusual, have fun inserting the toy in someone else and shining a flashlight up for a nice little internal view. Still not pleased with it as a toy? Use it as a decorative piece. It has a base, so set it up next to a window and let the light catch the colors and fill your room.

This toy is made from pyrex glass, and as such is a quite safe material. Ease your mind because it's highly resistant to shattering. The glass is super smooth, even around the raised designs or flared head. The dildo is also super firm. No particular smells or tastes were detected by me. It doesn't hold on to any because it isn't porous. This also makes it really easy to clean. You don't generally have to use a lot of lube with this dildo, if any at all. However, this is where I found my problem with this toy. The lack of texture and friction also meant a lack of internal stimulation for me.

Visually, the design is quite appealing to me. The ribbons of colors are raised to add to the texture of the toy, but I can't say that I actually felt them when the dildo was inside of me. The size of the toy is generally what I usually go for in most dildos, with around 6 1/2" of insertable length and a 4 1/2" circumference. However, because of the smoothness of this toy, I think I would have liked it to have been either curved, or a little wider. With the nice little storage bag it came with, the size and shape of this toy is easily storable and its shatter-resistant material definately adds to the travel appeal. However, I think I'd still choose something with more texture or a curved shape over this toy in the end.

Overall performance of this toy was great for my first glass toy. While I wasn't very stimulated or pleased by the texture and shape, it did get me past my fear of glass toys. It isn't too big, so this dildo is great for someone not quite used to glass or toys in general. Despite this, I'm positive that I wouldn't buy this toy again knowing what I do now about glass toys. It just didn't do anything for me once it was inside.

Because this dildo is glass, it is very easy to sterilize and keep clean. Whether you use soap and water, toy cleaners or wipes, or boil it there are a lot of available options to keep this toy clean. Be especially careful when boiling that the toy doesn't cool off too fast or there is potential to shatter or crack the glass. If you need to use lube with this toy, don't be afraid to use whatever you have on hand as the chances of it degrading the material of this toy are slim to none. When cleaned and dry, just slip it back into the little bag it came with and tuck it in your underwear drawer, toy box or wherever you like to keep your toys. Take care not to leave it bare or drop anything heavy on top just in case. Before use, check it over for chips or cracks for your safety.

The toy was shipped in a solid box and the toy itself was wrapped in bubble wrap, which I very much appreciated. It also came with a little velvet drawstring bag for storage. No instructions were included. I don't think it would be great to give as a gift directly in the shipping box or even in just the storage bag. However, the little velvet bag was red and maybe around the holidays it could be cute. Anyone snooping around or giving it a little feel would immediately know what was inside, though.
