In my quest to adventure out into the world on non-realistic dildos, I’ve come across the tentacle Jr. I must admit I almost didn’t want it because I didn’t know how I felt about sticking something in my vagina the glowed in the dark, but after thinking about it for a long time and I convinced myself that it was completely safe. Eden wouldn’t carry something that could potentially cause any problems so I ordered it.

The tentacle Jr is perfect for anyone; it’s perfect for men and women. It’s perfect or vaginal and anal use. Unlike its older brother the tentacle this one is better for a larger group of people because of the texture. For us who are anime fans this is like a dream come true. I know most don’t have dreams about being attacked by a 10 foot, 16 armed tentacle octopus or animal for that matter. Some might even be turned off by the idea of it looking like a sea creature. For those of you who aren’t I’d highly recommend the tentacle Jr. The tentacle curve makes for perfect g-spot and p-spot stimulation.

The tentacle Jr is made completely out of silicone, silicone is a semi-organic polymer, man-made material known for wide-ranging stability and water repellent. Silicone is smooth and not porous. Silicone can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes. The wave is solid but does have some give to it. You can bend it and straighten it to a certain point.

The tentacle JR is rather soft and can be bent and twisted to your liking. This can also be its downfall; because it has so much give it can make reaching your g-spot and inserting it anally pretty hard. You are going to need time and patience because if you don’t have it you will become annoyed. When you are using the tentacle JR you should keep it away from sharp items when you are and when you aren’t using it because you can rip or put holes in your item. This can cause it to hold onto more bacteria than it would normally.

All glow-in-the-dark products contain phosphors. A phosphor is a substance that radiates visible light after being energized. The two places where we most commonly see phosphors are in a TV screen or computer monitor and in fluorescent lights. In a TV screen, an electron beam strikes the phosphor to energize it. In a fluorescent light, ultraviolet light energizes the phosphor.

In the case of a fluorescent light, there is normally a mixture of phosphors that together create. To make a glow-in-the-dark toy, what you want is a phosphor that is energized by normal light and that has a very long persistence. Two phosphors that have these properties are Zinc Sulfide and Strontium Aluminate. Strontium Aluminate is newer -- it's what you see in the "super" glow-in-the-dark toys. It has a much longer persistence than Zinc Sulfide does. The phosphor is mixed into a plastic and molded to make most glow-in-the-dark stuff.

The tentacle JR is operated and charged by fluorescent light. You will need to sit your toy out in the light for a few minutes in order for it to glow when the lights are off. It doesn’t work with natural light either I’ve noticed, it has to be some type of artificial light. Upon more reading, I’ve learn that the material that is used to make the tentacle JR glow is perfectly safe for internal use. If you don't want your toy to glow, you should just keep it in a dark place.


The tentacle Jr does have a decent amount of texture to it but it isn’t overwhelming because the texture is more sunken in verses texture that is protruding. The texture can be very well felt during use but it won’t cause your any irritation, but if you like more extreme texture I’d advise looking elsewhere.

I love the design of the tentacle this is why I wanted it so bad. The shape would be more appealing to some more then it is others. The shape works perfectly for g-spot stimulation because of the long curved tip. The tentacle is a little longer than it needs to be but the extra length doesn't hurt to have. The tentacle has a Length of 7 1/4 inches, an insertable length of 6 3/4 inches, a circumference of 6 inches, and a diameter of 1 3/4 inches. The tentacle starts of very small with less than an inch thick and it slowly becomes thicker. At its thickest point it isn't very large and is suitable for most users. The all-around design and shape is extremely beautiful and intimidating.

The tenacle Jr is travel friendly, it will fit in just about any bag you choose to put it in. Because it's made out of silicone it won't set off any alarms when going through the airport. At the base of the tentacle there is no base, which sucks because you can't use it for harness play, but the base is big enough for comfortable hold inside of your hand without cramping. I also love the color of the tentacle JR! It starts off at this beautiful sea blue-green, and it fades into a deep dark green-blue. It's absolutely beautiful when it's right before your eyes. The little suction cup texture that lines the tentacle JR has this wonderful mixture of colors.

Like I’ve stated before the tentacle is perfect non-realistic dildo but I do wish that it was just a little firmer. If it was a little firmer it would cause less work needed to be put in, in order to reach and apply pressure to your g-spot. I do kind of also wish this has a suction cup but it doesn’t, at the bottom of the tentacle is the normal stamp.

Caring for the tentacle JR is very easy just like most silicone toys. You can boil the tentacle JR for about three minutes on your stove top. You can beach it with water/ bleach solution. You can also place it in the top rack of your dishwasher. You can also wipe it down with your favorite toy cleaner. Like most silicone items this one collects lint and hair so you may need to wipe it down before use. You should only use water based lubes when playing with the tentacle.

The tentacle JR comes packaged inside of this zip-lock type bag and it also has a card on the inside with a little information on it. The package isn’t discreet but can be used for storage if you choose.
