Pros
Simple elegance that is timeless, non-porous, durable Pyrex glass
Cons
none
Simply elegant and classy, the Classic Dildo by Luxotiq, is a beautifully crafted piece of glass. The simple design is curvy, and more stimulating than I had anticipated. The smoothness of the glass is much more noticeable to me on these sexy curves than on the other glass toy I own. While straight, the rounded ends do a fantastic job of caressing my g-spot, sending me over the edge in blissful waves of pleasure.
If you’ve had the pleasure of using a glass dildo, you know that they are rather heavy. This dildo is no exception weighing in at one pound. The size is perhaps not best suited to a size queen, but I found it to be quite adequate. The smaller end is about one inch in diameter, the thinner neck is 5/8 inch in diameter, the middle thicker part is almost 1 1/4 inches in diameter, the next neck is 3/4 inch diameter, and the large ball end is 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The entire toy is just shy of 8 inches long.
Glass is hard, cold, and very unrelenting. While you may heat the dildo up to whatever temperature you desire by placing in a bowl of warm water, I found the glass warmed to my body temperature quickly. The initial coolness was a bit of a shock, but not unpleasant, and it quickly faded. While using a hard material, such as glass, be sure to not get too rough, as it is possible to bruise your cervix. I never got rough enough to cause any discomfort to myself, but it is something to be aware of before using a glass toy for penetration.
I found the slickness of the glass to require no additional lubricant, as there was little or no friction. If you require, or desire, a personal lubricant with this or any glass dildo, your personal favorite will work. Nothing can degrade or breakdown glass, so everything goes. Of course I would suggest against the use of oil lubricants as they are not ideal for the vaginal environment, so either water based or silicone based lubricants are great choices.
While the larger ball may look sizable enough to make this dildo safe for anal play, I would highly suggest against it. I’m afraid the ball shape with the tapered neck would slip inside far too easily, and lubricated glass is nearly impossible to hang onto.
While made of durable Pyrex glass, this dildo may still get chipped or break if dropped onto a hard floor (like stone or porcelain). It may also become scratched if it comes into contact with a sharp object. I would suggest storing it in something padded, and keep it where it will not fall off of a ledge. This task is made easy and attractive by the sleek white and pink box the Luxotiq dildo comes packaged in. There is a white ribbon to tie it shut with and the inside is padded and lined with white satin. Also inside the box you will find a small lint-free cloth for the purpose of cleaning and polishing your new glass dildo.
Glass is wonderfully hard, and non-porous. While washing with anti-bacterial soap is fine for everyday use, you may sterilize between partners making this a great toy for couples or toy lovers whose sex lives are far more interesting than my own. To sterilize simply wipe down with a 10% bleach solution followed by a hot water rinse or boil for 3 minutes. Usually dish washing on the top rack with no soap is an acceptable way to sterilize also, but the Luxotiq website advises against this practice.

Experience
The two ends of this dildo offer quite different experiences. The smaller end is great for targeting a smaller area and getting really intense pressure to the g-spot. The larger end I found worked better to stimulate a wider area and worked best for when I was still working on getting fully aroused.
I found myself switching between ends to get the most out of the toy. The smaller end is of course easier to start with and initial penetration with the smaller end was quite comfortable and effortless. After I was thoroughly warmed up I switched to the larger end until my G-spot had become more pronounced and easier to locate. I used the smaller end to really pinpoint the right spot and used a slight sweeping motion to climb the mountain and leap over the edge into bliss.
I didn’t really use this for clit massage, mainly because it is so smooth it didn’t do much for me. If there were nubs or ridges it would be more stimulating for that use, but that would ruin what I love most about this toy; the simple beauty and effortlessly classic design.
While this toy was very successful in reaching my G-spot, I would like to point out that this may not be the case for everyone. Not everyone has a G-spot that responds to stimulation, let alone one that is so easy to stimulate. If you require a very aggressive curve on a toy (or fingers) to achieve a G-spot orgasm, then it is likely that this dildo may not do much for you in the way of G-spot.
