Let's play spin the dildo!

The Pink Rotator is a glass juicer style dildo. It's rotating motion combined with it's texture can provide some unique sensations. It works well vaginally or anally, and while it can be used solo, the Pink Rotator really excels as a partner toy. It's a great toy in it's own right, and it could also serve as an introduction to juicers before investing in one of the more expensive options from Phallix.

Use

The Pink Rotator is a glass dildo made by SSA Glass. It is a juicer style toy, and is designed to be rotated, rather than thrust with. The base and handle make it anal safe. The Pink Rotator can be used solo, but I find it works better when you have a partner to help.

Material / Texture

Glass is a very safe, hygienic material. It is body-safe and non-porous. Pyrex glass is less dense and stronger than regular glass. It won't break during use, and if you drop it on a hard surface it will break into large chunks rather than shattering. Glass will feel slightly cool if left at room temperature, but you can heat it in warm water or cool it in cold water to make it more comfortable or explore different sensations. Glass is very smooth, so it requires little to no lubricant. It is completely hard, so it feels a bit larger than soft toys of the same size, and allows you to apply firm pressure where you want it.

Design / Shape / Size

The Pink Rotator is made up of a bulbous head, a shaft, a base, and a handle. The head has some ridges that can be felt when the toy is rotated. It has a tapered tip which helps with insertion. The head is 1 1/2 inches wide (4 3/4 inches circumference) and has a series of vertical, indented lines. The shaft is 1 1/4 inches wide, and has a spiral texture that sticks out another 1/8 inch and works well with the rotating motion. The insertable length of this toy is 4 inches, which should be enough to reach most g-spots. The base is 2 inches wide, and has a circle of nubs. The way I used the toy, the nubs didn't come into contact with my body and just acted as decoration. If your clit is about a 1/2 inch away from your vaginal opening, you might be able to press the base against your vulva and get clit stimulation from the nubs. The handle is offset, which makes rotating easier. There is a knob on the end so your hand won't slip off it.

The nubs and spiral are made from very pale pink glass, while the rest of the toy is clear. It's girly and very pretty, especially when it sparkles in the sun. There is also a blue version available.

Performance

I was able to insert the Rotator into my vagina easily with a small dab of lube. I got some g-spot stimulation from the head, and the rotating spirals felt really interesting. The spirals didn't irritate my opening like other textured toys do, since it was rotating and not thrusting. It was difficult to reach and manoeuvre the handle by myself; I couldn't get into a consistent rhythm. I tried it with my boyfriend and it went much more smoothly, but he doesn't really like using toys on me so it won't get used very much that way. I think the Pink Rotator is ideal as a partner toy since they can't bump your cervix, or get too carried away with thrusting. I didn't really notice any ‘juicing' action. I get pretty wet naturally, but there didn't seem to be any more than usual.

I tried the Rotator anally as well. It felt like it was right on the edge of being too large for me, since the material is hard. I really enjoyed the unique feeling of the rotating spiral texture in this area as well. I don't have access to a willing prostate, but since it worked well for me for both g-spot stimulation and anal use, I imagine it would be a good prostate toy too. I'm sure most men would prefer the blue version though.

Care and Maintenance

Glass is compatible with any type of lubricant, and can be safely stored with toys made of any material. It can be washed with soap and water or toy cleaner. You can also sterilize it with a 10% bleach solution, boil it for 3 minutes, or run it through the dishwasher on the top rack with no soap.

Packaging

The Pink Rotator came to me wrapped in bubble wrap, inside a storage pouch. The pouch isn't padded, but is made from a thick, velvety material that offers a decent amount of protection. Mine is black (not red like shown in the picture) which is nice because it co-ordinates better with the colour of the toy.
Follow-up commentary
I really don't use this anymore. It was fun to try something a bit different from the usual dildo design, but it's just too awkward for me to rotate by myself, and my partner isn't into using it on me either.
