I would say this is best used with a partner. The length and girth are the biggest I have ever experienced, and I think it is hard to manipulate on your own. If you want to use it solo and you have long legs, you may be able to kneel, but the average person will have to squat. The suction cup is a plus for this, but due to the weight (2 lbs), I found that it would not easily stay horizontally (shower wall), but worked on the edge of a bathtub (vertically). Trying to use it yourself in the missionary position can work if you prop yourself up with some pillows, but you better have a strong hand and wrist because this thing gets heavy quickly. I think the design of this product is good, but for the more experienced user with larger sized toys. I thought that was me, but this is out of my league. The first time my partner and I tried it, I had quite a lot to drink, so maybe was a bit numb. I store it in the Doc Johnson bag that came with the product, in a cool dark spot. Better have a big hiding spot, though, if discretion is a factor.
