The texture can be a bit draggy when you run your hand across it; as I was stroking it a lot. I noticed with the water during the rinse off that wasn't the case, so because of the size and this factor, I will definitley be trying out some water based lube. Also, this thing held up pretty well in my Rodeoh harness that I ordered along with it. It is quite sizeable in girth, but not one of those monster dildos you sometimes see around; so I say it is definitely worth a shot.
