Virtuoso by Eden Toys is a great beginner toy for those who are looking for a dildo for vaginal, anal, or both uses. It features a flared base that can be manipulated anally without worry of 'losing' the toy and can be used in a harness for pegging, gender-play, or use between female-bodied couples. The base is also a suction cup, and can be placed on flat surfaces for hands-free riding, or placed inside of sex toy furniture. This base can also be used for gripping onto easily while thrusting. Both men and women can use the Virtuoso, and it may stimulate the p-spot or g-spot depending on the user's anatomy.

The toy can be used anywhere the user would like as it has no mechanical parts. Take it into the shower, tub, or pool for an aquatic adventure, or use it in the bedroom, a play party, or a dungeon scenario. The toy can be traveled with. However, it is not discreet if found lying in one's luggage. If you're easily embarrassed by TSA finding your toys, leave this one at home.

The Virtuoso is made from 100% premium silicone. It is non-porous, hypoallergenic, latex and phthalate-free. Silicone is a resistant material and does not hold onto bacteria. It can be fully sterilized through boiling and is wonderful for those with sensitivities to other materials. This particular silicone has no taste, but it does have a manufacturing smell when the toy is first opened. This scent should dissipate over time, and should not cause any issues for people with allergies.

Upon looking at the toy, it has a matte finish that lacks the familiar shininess of other silicone toys. This matte finish gives it a skin-like appearance. The feel of the matte silicone is buttery soft under the fingertips and feels velvety to the touch. When a lubricant is applied, this silicone becomes slick and glides easily. The silicone is also a lint, dust and hair magnet, and attracts it all to the surface quickly, showing up more due to the black color of the toy.

The Virtuoso is flexible, and the material is firm but has a light squish to it once the force is applied. It is realistically shaped and is covered in 'veins.' Though these veins cannot be felt upon insertion.

Virtuoso is realistically designed to look like a penis. It has veining along the shaft, a coronal ridge, and an urethral 'opening' in the tip. The shape of the toy is slightly curved and may lend itself to stimulation of the g-spot in women and the p-spot in men. It has a non-intimidating design to it that is great for beginners and advanced users alike, as it is easy to insert and graduates in circumference along the shaft. It has a slightly tapered look to it overall.

The base of the toy makes it anal safe, harness compatible, and also doubles as a suction cup for hands-free use. There is a light seam along the center of the toy, but this cannot be felt in use and is merely where the two halves of the mold were put together. It does not indicate that the toy will separate, and does not reduce its quality in any way.

The overall size of this toy measures the same as the playboy. It measures 8 inches in overall length while the insertable length is around 7 inches. The toy measures 5 inches in circumference at its widest insertion point. The base measure 2-1/2 inches in diameter. It should be noted that there is more shaft before it dips into the suction cup base, but would not be considered insertable.


Compared to the Playboy

The curve of this toy is able to provide varied results. My partner and I both used this toy with different results. She was able to stimulate her g-spot with the amount of curve easily, but when I used this toy, the curve wasn't enough to pinpoint my g-spot without angling it myself. It will depend on the user's anatomy and if their g-spot likes to 'hide,' and could yield similar results for men looking to stimulate their p-spot. The veining of this toy cannot be felt during use, and so does not add to the stimulation.

The suction cup of this toy is not the best feature, as it does not stick firm enough to a surface that the toy can be moved in all directions. However, if pulling the toy in an outward motion, the toy does stay firmly attached to the surface, so riding the toy is possible if placing the toy in the tub, on a chair, or another flat area. However, the base does work well in a harness and stays put behind an o-ring style. When inside of the harness, the toy doesn't shift around or droop.


Suction cup and the light seam

The material is flexible and slightly squishy between the fingertips. This toy will move with the body and is not too stiff. Once inserted, the toy is comfortable, and beginners will enjoy the ease of insertion.

Caring for a silicone toy is simple as there are a number of ways to clean it. Due to the lack of porosity, the toy can be boiled for up to three minutes, placed in the top rack of the dishwasher (without detergent), placed in a bleach solution of 5% bleach (95% water), cleaned with a toy cleaner, toy wipes, or simply washed with hot, soapy water. It should always be cleaned before and after use as silicone is a particularly strong lint and dust magnet. Always clean the toy if you plan to use the toy between orifices, and if used anally, the toy should be boiled at least once or twice a month.

If the toy retains any scents after use anally, you can leave it out in the sun and open air for a few hours if boiling or bleaching doesn't remove the smell from the surface. You can also store the toy with natural potpourris such as vanilla or coffee beans. Only use natural potpourri in the storage space of toys, as store-bought potpourris contain chemicals. When cleaning, always be sure to clean around the suction cup and small areas to remove any fluids if simply washing with warm water and soap.

When finished cleaning, store the toy in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. The toy can easily fit in a sock drawer, toy chest, or any other discreet location. Silicone toys can be stored together as long as the toy is made from 100% silicone. If the user is unsure, they may store the toy in Ziploc or organza bags. Do not store silicone with jelly, rubber, TPR, TPE, Cyberskin, etc. as the lower grade of material can melt or discolor silicone.

When using lubricants with silicone toys only use water-based lubricant . If you'd like to try a hybrid lubricant (silicone and water mixture) always test on an inconspicuous spot before using. Place a dot on the base of the toy and leave it for a few minutes. If the spot becomes sticky or gummy in any way, wash the toy immediately and do not use the lubricant.

Shipping was discreet as the toy comes shipped inside of a plain, brown, cardboard box without labels indicating that there is an adult toy inside. There were air pillows inside of the box to keep the toy from bumping around during transit. Under the air pillows, the packing slip was tucked, stating how to make exchanges and returns if needed. The only label on the outside of the box had the shipping addresses printed on it, and the return address is discreet and does not mention Edenfantasys.

The toy itself was packaged inside of a clear cellophane bag. It only had a barcode sticker for inventory purposes on the outside and did not come with any instructions on use or cleaning though none were required. All packaging can be recycled as it does not hold any purpose for storage. If gifting this toy, place in a gift bag or box for a more presentable gift. If the person is easily embarrassed, let them know the nature of the toy they are opening.

This toy is identical to the Playboy with the exception of it being a softer, less firm silicone, and having a little more flexibility. Comparing the two, the toy is formed from the exact same mold, with the same veining and details. The difference in silicone firmness makes this toy feel more realistic.
