The Love bone is a unique piece of Pyrex glass in a beautiful shade of sky blue. It can be used as a dildo for vaginal use, anal isn't recommended because of the lack of flared base. It can also be used for massage, as a pretty paper weight, or a garlic crusher if you can't figure out how to use him in any other ways.

His unusual shape will keep most people from guessing that the Love Bone is in fact a sex toy. The lack of texture and small size may turn off advanced users, but beginners might enjoy the smoothness of glass.

The Love Bone is made from borosilicate glass, which is also called Pyrex. Pyrex is easy to clean and care for, being used for bake ware in kitchens everywhere. It is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, smooth to the touch, and perfect for temperature play. Glass has no smell or taste, is latex and phthalates free.

The Love Bone isn't really shaped like a bone, but more like a tooth. It is rather small, and can fit in the palm of your hand. It is only 5 1/4 inches long, the tip is less than 1 inch thick, the base is 1 3/4" long by 3/4" thick. The tip is rounded and gradually thickens down to the base where it becomes flat and molar looking.

As a sex toy, the Love Bone just isn't my first choice. The Pyrex glass is beautiful to look at, but too hard and short to use for penetration. It has a nice curve, but not enough to massage the G-spot. It works nicely as a shoulder massager if you can get someone to volunteer to help you out.

I found that the Love Bone works best in the kitchen as a garlic crusher or a waterless ice cube for chilling iced tea and lemonades.

Glass toys are super easy to care for. You can use any type of lubricant you want with without having to worry about harming them. Cleaning them is a snap. You can wash it with antibacterial soap and water, or wipe it down 10%/90% bleach-water solution, stick it in the top rack of your dishwasher, or boil it.



The Love Bone comes with its own little red velveteen drawstring pouch which makes storage a no brainer. If you decide not to use the pouch, storing it in a sock or another padded bag is a good option. Try not to leave your glass toys together without being stored individually because they may clink together and chip.

I just can't use the Love Bone as a sex toy. It is too small, smooth, and rigid for my tastes. Using it for anal made me a little nervous because the base isn't flared enough and may get lost resulting in an embarrassing emergency room visit (and nobody wants that!). As mentioned in some of the other reviews, it works wonderfully for deep shoulder massages.

Instead of letting this beautiful piece of glass sit around and collect dust, we started experimenting in the kitchen. The nice weight and shape makes crushing garlic a snap. Chill it in the freezer for a bit and your Love Bone can be used to cool pitchers of festive summer drinks without watering them down. I'll probably find more uses for it soon.
