Hard-Core Max
Made of Tantus 02 material, the solid core and softer head of the Max combine for a filling yet comfortable experience while the soft ridged head provides extra stimulation. An impressive sight when worn in a harness!

Pros
02 material, surprisingly stimulating ridged head. beautiful skin like matte finish.
Cons
Base can be awkward to hold.
Packaging:
The packaging of the Max is Tantus’ usual style of packaging, a clear plastic box which is free of any sexual imagery. On the back and sides of the packaging you will find plenty of information about the silicone used in Tantus toys. It arrived in the slightly larger size of Tantus box, fitting nicely in it with no excess packaging. As the clear plastic box is so transparent it gives the advantage of being able to see the toy from every angle while it still sits in the packaging. The downside to this plastic packaging is that it can be quite sharp and as has been my experience with most Tantus purchases, the edges can really manage to stab into you while you open the box.
First Impression:
The Max is made in three colour options (cream, cocoa and black) and having chosen the cream colouring for my first 02 dildo which was the Adam, I decided this time to opt for the cocoa. In person the colouring is a pretty good match for the product page photos. When it first arrived in its packaging it appeared darker but once it is out of its box and in light the colour appears lighter too.
The Tantus Max is a generously sized realistic dildo, and it is not just realistic in its appearance as the 02 material of the Max makes for a more realistic feeling toy too. There is a softness or squishiness to the head of the dildo which gives it this realistic feel. While this is not my first 02 toy I must admit that I still spent a deal of time just playing with Maxs squishy head once I had him out of his packaging.
The core of the dildo is quite firm and the outer layer of the shaft is soft and squishy like the head. The base of the toy (with half-testicles) is very firm and flat underneath meaning that it works well at keeping the Max stood upright. The balls themselves have squishiness to them. The head of the dildo is realistically pronounced with a ridge and realistic skin folds under the head. The shaft is very straight. The head of the toy has a smooth shiny finish while the rest of the shaft has a matt appearance which gives it more of a skin like look and feel.
When you squeeze or bend the Max in your hands you can feel just how solid the core of the toy is and because of this solid core, it is pretty weighty too.

Measurements:
Total Length: 8 ¼ Inches
Insertable Length: 6 ¾ Inches
Circumference: 5 ¾ Inches
In Use:
With its generous insertable length of 6 ¾ Inches and girth of 5 ¾ Inches in circumference, the Max is certainly a tad larger than average. The smooth shiny head works well with lube which helps for easy insertion. From my experience a warm up toy is definitely worth considering before trying the Max and a more generous amount of lube than usual is recommended as once you are past the shiny head, the shaft of the Max is uniformly thick and quite unforgiving with its almost dry feeling matte finish. Once adequately warmed up and lubricated though, the Max is an experience to relish. While the realistically shaped head doesn't at first seem like it would be too stimulating, once inserted the ridge of the head can clearly be felt with every thrust. Thanks to the 02 material of the Max (a layer of softer silicone material on the outside of the toy) this stimulation from the ridge creates added texture without being uncomfortable in use.
The squishiness of the head also means that the length of the Max won’t end up feeling like it is bruising you during particularly long sessions with it. With 6 ¾ Inches of length I was surprised at how much of the length I couldn't manage to take but how full I still felt from the Max thanks to the uniformly thick girth of its super straight shaft. While this straight shape means the Max doesn't provide a whole lot of g-spot stimulation, the stimulation of the ridged head and its firm inner core is enough to still make this a sheet clenching experience.

Experience
During longer sessions the base of the toy can be awkward to hold onto and tends to tire the hands. I actually find the easiest way to hold it is so that the toy is sideways inside me but if you like the ridge against your front wall a certain amount of hand cramp is to be expected afterwards. The base of the Max does work incredibly well when it comes to strap-on play however, and being such a firm material at the base it stays well in place in an O-ring. The testicles make it look impressively realistic when worn in a harness.
In terms of use anally I would only recommend attempting this if you are well experienced with anal play. The matte finish of the girthy Max is something that I find always needs a warm up toy before inserting vaginally so lots of lube is a must when used either vaginally and obviously particularly when used anally. The large size and ridged head still aren't quite enough to really stimulate the prostate (or the g-spot for women) as the shape of the Max is so straight.

Material/Care:
Made of Tantus’ high quality 02 silicone, the Max is scentless, tasteless and is completely free from latex and phthalates. It is generally recommended that you don’t use silicone lubricants with silicone toys; I would recommend using a water based lubricant with the Max. With its generous size lube is well needed. The Max is incredibly easy to wash after use with soap and warm water. Specialised toy cleaner or cleaning wipes can be used instead or if you want to sterilize it after use it can be boiled for 3 minutes. I keep mine in a zip-sealed bag after use to keep it dust and lint free as like most silicone toys it attracts alot of lint particularly on its shiny head.
