This toy lived up to its specs at first sight. It is deliciously long and thick, and the flesh tone brings a real-life touch for those who need a little realism to get off. The shaft features veins and a realistic head to add to the life-like experience. Like all EdenFantasys toys, it arrived packed in a discreet cardboard box and was nicely packaged inside in a plastic box that showed off its assets at a glance ;)
It is made of silicone which is very slightly on the sticky side, meaning you'll want to store this toy away from lint, but not to the level of a jelly toy. It also cleans off well with simple soap and water or toy cleaner. A notable feature of the Twist is its firmness: the silicone is more firm than most other silicone toys in my experience (which is fairly extensive :P). For reference against its peers in the size-lover category, I would say that it is slightly more firm than the Orgasm Enforcer (which is about "average" for firmness) and considerably more firm than the Big Boy (which is on the softer side in terms of malleability). This means that the Twist feels more rigid inside you and the shaft has less flex than softer toys; this is a pro for some and a con for others; it is entirely dependent on personal preference.
The Joyful Twist is powered by four AAA batteries, with a twist-off cap that gives access to the battery slots and a single button that controls both power and mode. I had some difficulty with the toy as, when I first put in the batteries, the cap went on very slightly off-center, and it took persistent struggle over the course of 15-20 minutes to work it loose. However, I will say that it is possible the batteries may have also been at fault in causing this accident, and it hasn't been an issue since! Just be careful to put the cap on as straight as possible, no matter how deviant your play is going to be. (And, if you do get into strife, remember: persistence is key!) The cap is on the shorter side (approximately 2 inches, per my measurement). Keep in mind that the toy's cap and shaft are the same width (unlike some toys - e.g., the Orgasm Enforcer - with flared bases). This can be a slipping hazard if your play is going to get especially wet! That said, I did not experience any difficulty in holding or maneuvering the toy during play.
All those who lack dexterity may rejoice with this toy, as the power/mode button is quite large and easy to press. The button is located on the bottom of the cap, so those who like to ride their toys need to be careful not to accidentally set it off, but those who prefer to hold and move it by themselves may find it is easier to avoid hitting the button on accident than toys with side buttons.
Due to sheer size, this is NOT the toy for those who need a discreet vibe they can hide in their purse, but anyone looking at a 7" vibrator doesn't need to be told that, so let's get on with the review!
