GLASS CONVERT
This toy was totally worth it for me, in becoming a glass convert, because it's pretty, I enjoyed the rigidity, temperature play and the ability to clean it very easily. I also loved how I could use any lube I wanted with this. I will definitely check out more of what Don Wands has to offer!

Pros
Pretty, nubbed, easy-to-clean
Cons
No handle, very slippery when wet.
Ok, so, The Rainbow Mega Nubby... How I love you!!! You make play time so much fun!
In the past, I've been wary of glass toys because they are rigid and this girlie likes some flexibility/softness to her toys. I like the feel of a realistic dildo, and my ability to but this one is just so pretty. I mean, look at it! It's clear glass, with rainbow nubs!! *fangirl crush* Ok, so I may have gone a bit overboard with the fangirling. Don't judge me.
What I loved most about this toy is that it's nubbed. Each colored spot, or button, if you will, is a nub. This texture gave me the feeling that way more was going on than I originally thought.
I need to tell you, I find that I am drawn to aesthetics, and this toy was very pleasing to my eye--it's a 7 1/4" rigid glass dildo with rainbow-colored nubs, and reminds me of a roll of candy buttons.
Glass toys can also be used for temperature play. As in, you can warm it up or cool/ice it down. I played with this gem with both hot and cold, and I have to say, the cold was my favorite. The shock of the iciness made me really enjoy my play time much more since it was a shock to my system. A pleasurable shock. I enjoyed the coldness against my labia, my clit (not too much--it *is* very sensitive), and inside my vagina. Whoa, definitely inside my vagina. That was, well, intense, *understatement*.
I did manage to get a squirt off, but it was a bit difficult because this is a glass toy, and so is rigid, straight, without angle and is very slippery when wet. But I was determined to see if I could use it for g-spot stimulation. I did--alas, only twice. I found it to be extremely slippery when I used a silicone-based lubricant, which is my preferred lube when playing with my toys. However, it did get slippery regardless of the lube used, since it is glass.
However, I didn't truly have a problem with this toy in the shower, and so was able to hold on to the shaft to keep inserting at the angle, strength, depth and rate of thrust I wanted--I didn't use lube in the shower.
This rainbow wand is also waterproof, so you can use it in the shower. Yep, like I did. Cuz shower time must always be special and decadent. And sinful. Like chocolate.

Experience
I was out with someone recently, and whilst talking about sex toys, specifically glass, she mentioned that one of her friends used her glass toys as garlic crushers, since they can be used as such. Plus, most glass toys don't look like dildos. So I used the mega nubby as a garlic crusher--bad idea--the nubs made it difficult and my eyes may have bled from the gas released by the garlic.
Follow-up commentary
4 months after original review
I still like this toy--it's fun to use and provides the texture I like. I pull it out when I don't feel the need for vibrations, just good old-fashioned thrusting.
