G-Spot Jewel
This would be a great toy for a beginner to glass or to toys in general, but size queens and people looking for texture should look elsewhere; this is a very slim and smooth toy. And it is my best toy for g-spot stimulation, but I wish it were thicker. so it were more filling.

Pros
Hits g-spot well, bulbed-end great as handle or for inserting.
Cons
Too thin, not very filling, some will find the lack of texture boring.
The Amethyst is a simple, pretty g-spot toy. It is definitely on the small side (it isn't as filling as other toys), but it offers great direct g-spot stimulation. And I didn't expect to, but I actually like the bulbed side even better.
It arrived in a red velvet pouch, wrapped in bubble wrap. I found this useful for storage with my first couple of glass toys packaged this way, but now that I have more, it is harder to tell them apart in the bags. I wish the pouches were labeled.
It was smaller than I expected (this picture is probably about to-scale on your screen). The neck is pretty narrow, which I found a bit disappointing. Also, I personally found the light purple to be a bit boring (I accidentally ordered this instead of the blue one, and I really wanted the green one, but it is out of stock). So not the best first impression overall, though I didn't see anything wrong with the surface of it. It is perfectly smooth.
The measurements are as follows:
Length: 7 1/4"
Insertable length: 3" /4"
Circumference: 4"
Diameter: 1 1/4"
Weight: 9.7 oz.
As a Borosilicate glass toy, it has no smell or taste and is completely safe to use. It can be washed with soap and water or boiled.
I enjoyed using the bulbed end as a handle for moving the curved end against my g-spot.
I also tried inserting the bulbed end and using the curved side as a handle, and found that I actually liked it better. I enjoyed the smooth but varied texture of the bulbs, and having the handle side be curved gave me a lot of control. So it was more filling and stimulating this way (in terms of the texture) and I was able to hit my g-spot either way. And either side makes a good handle.
The Amethyst is the most curved of my glass toys and it has the least amount of texture (besides the Love Journey and the Sweet Lola, which have no texture). Here is a comparison of the g-spot curves with the Don Wands Curved Purple Swirl, Swirled Blue and the Hearts Wand. And you can see, that it is the same color as the Don Wands.
I enjoyed the curve, since it was much easier to his my g-spot with than some other toys with no curve. I was able to hit my g-spot in a variety of ways: moving the toy in and out, over it, back and forth against it, and in a circle. And with the bulbed end, there was not as much freedom of movement, but it felt even better, because it was more filling.
The bulbed end might feel good for anal use, but the lack of flared base would make it unsafe.
Glass is great, because it offers very rigid and direct stimulation, it holds temperature, it doesn't require much (or any) lube and you can use any kind of lube on it.
Obviously, glass is very stiff, so you should be careful not to thrust too hard so you don't bruise yourself internally, especially with a toy so curved. You have to try to keep track of which way the toy is facing inside you, and I don't think it would be a god toy to have a partner use on you.
I wouldn't leave it out on my coffee table (even though it is beautiful). I think this toy would be great for travel, as long as you wrap it in clothes to protect it. I think it would be more travel-friendly than realistic dildos.
This is a great toy. I think the small size and lack of texture would make it good for a beginner. But size queens and people looking for texture should look elsewhere, because this is a very slim and smooth toy. It works great for g-spot stimulation but I wish it were more filling.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
I have started to step away from glass a bit, but I actually like this toy even more now and would highly recommend it. My only complaint is the lack of girth (as the neck is very skinny) but it is still one of my top glass toys; when I want to use a glass toy, I usually reach for this one (or my Love Journey) for reliable orgasms that I can reach quicker than with other toys. It is very easy to control and the direct g-spot stimulation is great.

Great review. I do use this on my partner safely and it's no problem anally. It's quite small really.
