Wave sex toy review
Most of all, this thing blew away any of my doubts about its performance as a g-spot dildo. Its curvature being so extreme, it never stopped hitting my g-spot. In a very short span of time, this toy gave me two g-spot orgasms, and I barely had to try!

When I received the Wave dildo, I was immediately intrigued. The modest packaging – a resealable plastic bag (as in, the kind you can get in a grocery store) with a large business card inside – indicated that this was the product of a small company. The Wave is a classic g-spot dildo created by a small, three person company in Maine called WhipSpider Rubberworks, which specializes in interactive sculptures, each one handmade.
The dildo itself is hardly as modest. The Wave is six and a half inches (not all of it insertable, unless you’re superhuman) of high-quality, blue pearlescent swirling silicone. While it never lacks for girth, the toy gradually thickens to a large, stable base. The texture is totally smooth yet tacky (so keep it in its plastic bag), and its greatest feature is a dramatic curve befitting its namesake. I even noticed how the toy was even signed by the artist, further adding to the feeling that this toy seemed to have been made especially for me.
Admittedly, I was a little skeptical of this toy. Sure, it was handmade, and sure, it looked really cool; but was it really going to do anything? I’ve used specially curved g-spot toys before that didn’t do what they said they were going to; and the texture of the Wave is totally smooth, so I wasn’t sure it was going to stimulate my g-spot very much at all. Despite my misgivings, a little bit of water-based (never silicone) lube was enough to liberally coat the toy, and then I got to work.
Firstly, I want to say that I would have given the Wave five stars (or to be more fair, four and a half) if it wasn’t so difficult and uncomfortable to hold onto. The base is wide, so you really have to grip the end; and if you lube the toy up a little bit too much, it’s hard to get a grip on it.
Otherwise, the Wave has earned my adoration and praise. As I said before, the toy never lacks for girth; at initial insertion, the Wave was smooth but thick and filling, and pushing it in a little bit more actually hurt a little bit. I had to get used to it before continuing on. The graduating width of the toy was definitely a fun sensation.

In a very short span of time, this toy gave me two g-spot orgasms, and I barely had to try! Also, though a few toys have made me squirt, the Wave has the distinction of being one of the only two toys ever to make me gush. That in and of itself pretty much made me instantly fall in love with this toy.
As I sit here finishing this review, I have a big smile on my face, and I feel completely and totally satisfied. (And a little fussed that I have to wash my sheets for the second time this week.) I encourage you, from the g-spot curious to the g-spot veteran, to bet on WhipSpider Rubberworks’ wonderful handmade creation, the Wave. I’m sure you will be just as pleased with it as I am, and that it will instantly win over your heart (as well as other places).

I have one of the screw plugs and I'm very much impressed with the quality of the silicone they use. I also like sex toys that don't immediately look like sex toys, and this one is just so pretty and elegant! Great review :)

And it's not a tentacle!!!
-
Thanks for this review-- I've nearly bought one of these a few times.

Hmm, question- is it flexible enough to straighten a bit, or is it stuck in such an extreme curve?

Great review!
