Ella is a dual ended dildo best used for vaginal use and stimulating the g-spot, and it can be run over the curves of the body for light stimulation.

Not the best for anal, but it could be used that way. If used anally it should probably be used with a partner. The curved g-spot end, where it narrows and then widens back out, does make for a comfortable handle to be held in the firm grip of another person's fist. Just be very careful.



On a different note, the flat head of the g-spot end also works pretty well as a neck massager.

Ella is made from body safe silicone, a 10 on the material safety scale. The smooth matte finish has minimal drag across the skin. It is not that different from the drag of skin on skin.

It smells and tastes like silicone, but is neither overpowering or noticeable. You have to have Ella right under your nose and right on your tongue to smell or taste it. It is also safe to use in the tub.

The silicone has some flexibility to it, but is otherwise firm.



There are two rounded 'edges' that run along the neck of the dildo, but they don't hurt and can't be felt on insertion. The brand name, Lelo, is on both sides as a stamped indentation. You can see it, and feel it with your fingers, but like the 'edges' can't be felt inside.

Ella it 7 inches long, 5 to 5 1/2 insertable when you use the dildo end, and 2 to 2 1/2 insertable when you use the g-spot end.



The dildo end is 1 inch wide and 1 1/4 inches high at its largest spot. The neck is 1/2 inch wide and 3/4 inch high. The g-spot head is 1 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches long.



The shape is ergonomic, both ends fit comfortably in hand when using the other end internally. The dildo end is more oval in shape, with the top of the oval tapering into narrower curve than the base. This taper fits comfortably between, and is quite nice to just rub back and forth along both the outer or inner labia.

The flat head is designed for the g-spot but also works quite well against the clit if you are looking for clitoral stimulation that doesn't feel like it is coming from your own touch.

The toy does not have a realistic shape, and overall is quite discreet. Being made of silicone and taking up little space, it is a good toy to take along for travel.

People who prefer dildos with more girth will probably want to look elsewhere, but Ella should work for your average user and is a good toy for beginners.

This toy has great appearance. Its lines and curves are beautiful from any angle. And the broad flat head of the g-spot end and the flexible neck are very very nice. The tapered oval shape of the dildo end is also wonderful.

Being a silicone dildo, make sure you use water based lubes. But if you want to use something else, make sure to do a spot test first.

Ella is easily cleaned with warm water and mild soap. With no mechanical parts you can even give it a boil.

While I store my Ella in the box it came in, it can also be stored in its included pouch if space is an issue.

Lelo packaging, as always is fantastic! The outer sleeve shows the Ella and has information about the toy on the opposite side. And when you remove the sleeve, there is a very discreet black box, perfect for storage.

Ella sits in a black plastic base, with a clear plastic sleeve that fits over it, protecting it from dust.




And when you remove the clear sleeve and Ella, there is a hole where you can hook your finger to remove the plastic base, revealing the black satin storage bag, instruction/care booklet, and free sample of water based Lelo lube stored underneath.

I'm still trying to figure out the best way for me and Ella to work together. I had hoped with her, I'd be that much closer to experiencing a g-spot orgasm. But I'm still working out what position I should be in when I use the g-spot end and just how I should control/move it about.

While I do like the dildo end for thrusting, I prefer my textured glass pieces over it.

But I do like Ella, she is beautifully crafted. We just happen to still be in that awkward getting to know each other phase of our relationship. After all, I know the need. Just a matter of determining if Ella will eventually be able to meet it.
