This is my first glass toy. My partner has always been very wary of them, as she's not too keen on the idea of having something made of glass. But I've slipped this one in on her a few times now, though it has become a personal favorite of mine.

It's made of solid glass, which means that this toy has absolutely no bend or give whatsoever. It's a straight shaft, no matter how you look at it. If you're not into the idea of having something entirely hard, unbending, and unforgiving inside you, then you should certainly consider another toy before this one. That being said, this glass dildo is very nice for your standard dildo use. The shaft is tapered gently at both the long end and the curved end, making insertion painless. Its girth is the perfect size in my opinion, not too big but not so small that it leaves you wanting something more.

I've used it pretty much every way I could think of, and for every orifice, as well. The curved end serves as a wonderful handle and also prevents any mishaps when being used anally. My partner and I are slowly beginning our anal adventures, but she accepted this toy fairly easily, and I never once worried about losing it. The curved end is also somewhat useful for insertion vaginally. It was a little tight for me, but once I had it in far enough, it seemed to hold on by itself, and just a slight wiggle of the long end of the candy cane shaft gave intensely pleasurable pressure on my G-spot. A wonderful little bonus that I was not expecting with this toy. It may not fit this way on everyone, though, so if it is attempted, listen to your body. Pain is a forewarning that something is wrong; listen to it and stop while you're ahead.

Another small though possibly unneeded note of caution; as with all glass toys, this one is rather hefty in weight, and since it is solid and inflexible, your thrusts will need to be much more gentle and slow. You could easily injure your most delicate parts with a seemingly 'average' thrust with this little boy.

There are many things that you can do with glass toys, as I have read, including warming it in some hot water or cooling it down in the fridge or freezer, and I am curious as to how these feel. Glass toys just may become my new favorite type, as they are entirely safe and super super super easy to clean! They also come in fancy colors and some pretty neat designs and shapes that just wouldn't work with your normal soft toys. This one could even be used as decor! Just clean it up good, first.

The first thing I tend to notice with new toys is the smell, but this one has absolutely no scent at all! Hurray for glass! The packaging had a bit of a plastic odor, but it was nothing compared to some of my older toys. It was much heavier than I expected, but pleasingly so. I was very happy with how smooth the shaft turned out to be, it slides in like a dream with just the tiniest bit of lubrication. The ribbon design in the shaft of the candy cane can just barely be felt with your fingertips, but cannot be felt when it is in use, so it adds nothing other than a little childish whimsy to the design.

I feel that this toy is honestly a wonderful first glass toy, given its adorable appearance. I would not, however, recommend it to first time overall toy owners, as it is a bit wide, and very heavy and rigid compared to the traditional 'first' vibrator choices of silicone or other plastics.

Who could not love this design! Even my partner found it to be pretty cute. It's utterly adorable in every way, except perhaps its surprising weight. The heft only adds to the whimsy of it for me, however. It's an oversized glass candy cane; it has every right to be heavy! The shaft is of average length which seems suitable for all, and the girth is good for almost everyone, including some beginners. I cannot handle largely girthed toys at all (what can I say, I'm a wuss), but this little one slides in like a dream and gives a nice content full feeling without being overly obtrusive. Surprisingly I was able to use the curved end for a little G-Spot exploration. As I've previously stated, it's a bit tight this way, and will probably seem uncomfortable to most, but if you're lucky, it will hold on and give a good intense pressure right where you want it.

This toy is heavy and large, probably larger than you may be thinking. It's awkward by itself or in its cinch bag, so I wouldn't recommend you travel with this baby in your overnight bag or purse. This is strictly a suitcase or dresser drawer toy.

My favorite part of this toy is obviously its design! A candy cane, how perfect can you get with a toy? Something cute and sweet, just the trick to use on a fussy partner. Mine was certainly giggling like a child over it's harmless look. Besides that this toy is made of glass, it's just so cute, you can't not want it! It would make a great conversational piece if left out on display in the bedroom, or if you're really daring, set it up in the living room somewhere as decor. Perhaps even use it to hold down the stack of napkins at your holiday dinner party. After your guests have gone, you can celebrate alone with it!

Glass is one of the easiest materials to care for. It requires little lubricant, can be boiled clean, put in the dishwasher, or cleaned the old-fashioned way with soap and water. Leave it to air dry, and it won't pick up a bit of dust. This toy comes with a very very plush cinch bag for storage, which helps to keep it safe, clean, and in one piece. Care should always be taken with glass toys, and I inspect mine each time I use it for minor cracks or imperfections. Take care not to be too rough with it, and not to drop it, as it may shatter. I have a tendency to leave my toys strewn across the bed after playtime, and I'll roll right over them or onto them in our afterglow and snuggling. I am always careful, however, to scoop my candy cane back up and slip it inside the pouch or even just gently place him on something soft on the floor before we snuggle. I'd hate to break this toy!

As I've seen many people previously complain about the cinch bag this toy comes with... I received this toy with a light BLUE bag, not pink! I'm actually rather happy about it, because I think the pink would indeed clash far too much with the red stripes of the candy cane. Regardless, the bag is heavily padded which is wonderful for storing this toy! I never worry about it breaking in transit from one house to another, and I always know where it is, clean and safe.

The actual packaging was a plastic clam-shell that is still sitting in the back of our Jeep. We have a tendency to open mail in the car, and then forget to toss the trash! It's not very useful or informative though, but I do suppose there isn't much you need to know about a glass toy.
