The Curve by Fun Factory is D to the E, to the L-I-C-I-O-U-S. This toy will have you singing its praises for a long time to come, assuming you enjoy a thick, relatively flexible dildo with a pronounced head. While "the" bump may be a deal-breaker for some, it does help target the g-spot. Just make sure to warm up before insertion since it's pretty thick. The bottom line is that this dildo will make them boys (and girls) go crazy.

Pros
Flexible Great for rocking against g-spot Filling 100% silicone
The Curve, a g-spot dildo by Fun Factory, was ergonomically designed to please. Its reinforced tip excels with regards to g-spot stimulation and the raised silicone on the sides of the toy provide a unique sensory experience. Although this toy is fairly flexible, it feels very substantial.
I found that the best way to use the Curve is by letting the tip rest on my g-spot. Then I curl my fingers in the handle and rock the toy back and fourth. I was able to achieve a few blended g-spot/clitoral orgasms with the assistance of the Form 2 by Jimmyjane.
Fun Factory also says that this toy can be used anally. Looks way to big for me to verify this claim, but from a safety prospective I can give the green light. Just make sure to boil/bleach this toy afterwards (NOTE that direction didn't come from the FF manual, but there shouldn't be a reason why this can't be done since it is 100% silicone).
I think that this toy is best suited for intermediate to advanced users since it is fairly thick. There has also been a lot of conflicting opinions regarding the bump at the head of this toy. I love it, but plenty of reviewers haven't. I wouldn't want a potential user to think that dildos were uncomfortable/get caught in bad places based on this one polarizing design. Make sure to warm up before use because it is also quite thick!
The Curve is made out of 100% silicone. It feels a little smoother than the silicone on the Sinniflut Intensity. And it's not textured like the Delight. It's also a little squishier than the silicone on the Ripple. A comparison of the shapes and textures of these toys is presented in this photo and in the video portion of this review.
I love love LOVE this silicone. When looking at the pictures, I thought that the curve (especially at the tip) would be rigid and uncomfortable. But the flexibility in the silicone makes it deliciously adaptable. It's also fun to squeeze on when doing kegels because there's a little give. It makes me feel like my muscles are actually doing something, unlike when I squeeze against my stainless steel toys.
The shape of the Curve is well, a curve. A beautiful beautiful curve. From tip to tip the Curve is about 8" in length with a maximum width of about 1.5." The shape looks like what would result if you got someone to sit on the letter "J." Its handle is folded back, which makes it very easy to grip. It has a maximal diameter of 1.3." Theoretically a bullet could be placed in the handle and the vibrations might transfer (barely) down the shaft but I couldn't try this because (believe it or not) I don't own a bullet.
The Curve's most interesting feature is the raised silicone going from the tip of the toy halfway up its shaft. At the tip, the raised silicone seems to spill up into a bump. This bump has caused a lot of controversy. If you don't like protrusions of any kind on your toys, then you might not like this added feature. I love it. Again, you might not. It was perfect for rubbing against my g-spot. If you like heavy thrusting, the bump combined with the toy's flexibility might be a terrible combination.
If it wasn't for the bump, this toy would be very discreet. But the bump makes it look like, well I think we all know what it resembles.
Because of the curved tip, this toy performed extremely well. Users that love rubbing with direct pressure on their g-spots will love this toy. I was able to thrust with this toy, but I couldn't do so with much speed. Its best asset is its smooth texture and flexibility. The tip also provided some direct stimulation. At times it was hard to control because it did flop around a tad. There's definitely a learning "curve" to this one.
Fun Factory recommends cleaning this toy with soap and water, especially when transitioning from the anus to the vagina. Eden Fantasys says that silicone can be disinfected by boiling for 3 minutes or by putting it in the top rack of the dishwasher.
Since this is a silicone toy it is NOT compatible with silicone lubricants. Please don't try it. Also don't store this toy next to any other silicone toys as they might interact.
I store my Curve in a ziploc bag, flat, and away from sunlight. This toy also attracts lint so make sure to wash it before and after every use.
The Curve is stored in traditional FF packaging. The box is beige with red writing. The front of the box is see through, so you can see part of the toy itself. There is a red magnetic flap that contains directions in multiple languages on its underside. An abstract outline of the curve is drawn on this flap. And as always, Fun Factory encourages the user to "Love Yourself." The side of the box says that this toy is 100% silicone and odorless. The back of the box has a drawing of the curve. Finally the last side of the box has a description of FF, printed in multiple languages.
Inside the box is the Curve, a sample of FF's toyfluid (a toy lubricant), a manual and a small brocure
This is quite possibly my favorite dildo in my toybox. While I try not to pick favorites (especially since the other ones will get mad - and since all dildos bring something different to the table), the Curve has given me many many fantastic orgasms (with vibration on my clit). This is also my first bendable silicone dildo, which feels odd to say since many users start with softer dildos and work their way up. Until I started reviewing, I never had any interest in softer toys. Now I'm hooked! I'm extra excited that my drawer is curving in this new direction.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it4 months after original review
This toy is fantastic. I'd really recommend thinking this toy through before (if) you buy it because of anatomy issues, but it's one of my favorites because of its flexibility and durability.
