The Icicles number 22 is a wonderful example of a basic borosilicate glass thrusting dildo. Not to mention, it is truly a work of art in appearance. It is suitable for vaginal or anal penetration due to the handle-like portion and the flared base. The "handle" also makes it easy to control when thrusting.

There is no wrong time to use a creation as beautiful as this one. Vaginally, the size is moderate and should be good for most individuals. Anally, it may be a bit large for beginners, however for intermediate to advanced individuals it should be just about right.

This toy can be used for temperature play by simply soaking it in hot or cold water for a short time. The rather bulbous head provides a nice popping sensation when thrusting in and out as well as can provide g- or p- spot stimulation, depending on the individual's specific anatomy. However, it is worth mentioning that caution should be taken when engaging in rough thrusting due to the very rigid nature of the glass. After all, no one wants bruised insides, right?

Being made of borosilicate glass, the Icicles no 22 has no noticeable smell or taste. It is not an overly realistic toy, though it does have a bulbous end. It is perfectly smooth and has no real texture other than the texture of glass. The lack of texture makes this toy very easy to handle for beginners or advanced users. It is completely nonporous thanks to the material. This toy is very rigid and firm due to its material and has no noticeable give. This can be a problem for some beginning users who don't yet know how much force to apply when thrusting.

This toy is a beautiful semi-realistic thrusting toy. It has a straight length with a bulbous end and a "handle-like" portion at the base. Spirals of red and blue flow throughout the length. It is 8 3/4" long with an insertable length of 6 1/4". Its diameter is roughly 1 1/2". I would therefore, categorize this as a medium-sized toy and believe it would be suitable for most average users for either vaginal or anal use. It is comfortable to use and easy to handle.

While being only semi-realistic, this toy still looks fairly phallic. This makes it decidedly non-discreet. Therefore, I would not recommend it for travel if the method of travel is one where your bags are likely to be searched.

What I love about this toy is the shape and firmness. It is a nice hard toy for when one wants nice solid or unrelenting stimulation. It is great for anal play. When lubricated, this toy provides a smooth glide that silicone toys can't ever hope to achieve. The only downside is that you can't go all-out with thrusting or you risk bruising sensitive internal bits. I do not believe that a glass toy is a good option for using with a harness although I suppose it might theoretically be possible due to the flared base.

Glass toys are remarkably easy to take care of. The Icicles number 22 has no texture and is therefore very easy to clean. Borosilicate glass toys can be cleaned several ways. They can be washed with toy cleaner or with antibacterial soap and water. They can also be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Alternatively, they can also be boiled for five minutes to sterilize them.

Storage is simple with the box it comes in. The foam of the box perfectly contours to the toy, protecting it from injury. As for lubricants, all types of lubricants are compatible with glass toys. I personally prefer water-based lubricants overall. However oil-based and silicone-based lubricants are also compatible with this toy. Any type of lubricant goes a long way with a glass toy and very little is needed to achieve a wonderful gliding sensation.

The Icicles number 22 comes in a cardboard box with a flap in the front through which you can view the toy itself. The front of the box features a dramatic-looking picture of the toy itself. The back features basic information about the toy itself. The box works wonderfully as a storage box because it cradles this toy perfectly. For someone who appreciates glass toys, this may work well as a gift box as it is very decorative.

This is definitely a favorite in our collection. Especially for anal use. The smooth glide of the glass when lubricated makes it ultra comfortable and it has no drag, unlike many silicone toys. It also always has a slight exciting chill at first due to the nature of it being glass.
