Icicles No. 4 is comprised of two parts: a glass dildo and a vibrating bullet (with controller). The pieces can be used separately (the bullet is great for clitoral and body stimulation), or they can be connected and used together.

The dildo has a slightly pointed tip that makes it great for g-spot or p-spot stimulation. Just remember to use caution if you do use this toy anally since it does not have a flared base. Once again, you can attach the bullet through the circular handle and use the toy as a vibrating dildo; otherwise, you can use the bullet holder as a finger hole.

Like most Icicles products, No. 4 is made of glass, which is great for temperature play. You can heat it in warm water place, or place it in a microwave for a short amount of time. Alternately, you can cool with toy with colder water or with refrigeration.

In addition to inserting the toy, I highly recommend teasing yourself and/or your partner with a heated or cooled dildo. It feels great on many different areas of the body! Furthermore, trying the bullet on different body parts can also be quite pleasurable!

The bullet and the controller are attached by a plastic wire, which can be removed from the controller if necessary. The bullet and controller are both comprised of a hard plastic material, but the bullet is a tad softer; although it is not easily dented, it will show small scratches. The device is not waterproof because the battery cover is not the most secure. It does slide off a bit easily, so I wouldn’t wash the controller. If, for some reason, it became dirty, the best thing to do would be to use a damp cloth or baby wipe.

The dildo is made of Pyrex glass (also known as borosilicate glass), which is one of the safest materials for an adult toy! Not only is glass easy to clean and compatible with most lubricants (water, silicone, and oil-based), it is also quite hard to break. Pyrex glass does not shatter or get cracked; rather, if the dildo were to become damaged, it would break off into large chunks. This decreases the mess, and makes it extremely easy to detect if the toy has any imperfections. I have dropped toys made of Pyrex glass onto a hardwood floor and have not had any become damaged as of yet (knock on wood!). I did check for any damage, of course!

As you can probably see in the picture, there is a pink ribbon that swirls around the dildo 5 times. If you run your hand along the toy, you can definitely feel that it raised from the rest of the shaft; you can also feel it when the dildo is inserted. Additionally, when the bullet is attached and the toy is used as a vibrator, the texture feels further enhanced. That being said, if you are sensitive to texture, this is probably not the toy for you.

A major aspect of the dildo’s design is the pointed tip, which is designed for g-spot stimulation. It is not the biggest curve, so it may not work for everyone. Additionally, some may find the tip to be a bit too pointy.

On the alternate tip of the dildo, there is a ring, which is designed to hold the vibrating bullet. When the bullet is placed inside the ring, it is snug and secure. Even when thrusting quite hard, the bullet did not fall or wiggle out of place. In fact, I had to push rather hard to get the bullet out when I was done using it.

The dildo measures 7 inches in length; 6 of which are insertable (the additional inch is the circular bullet holder). The circumference of the toy is 3 inches. As you can see, it is not the thickest dildo available and may not be good for advanced users. Personally, even with experience, I enjoyed this dildo very much, especially with the swirled ribbon design.

The controller takes 3 AAA batteries (which are not included). Once you slide the plastic panel back over the battery pack, you are good to go!

There is one button that can be pressed at either end. The bottom edge of the button is the power switch, while the top is used to change the mode of vibration.

There are ten settings of vibration:
1. Low steady buzzing
2. Medium steady buzzing
3. High steady buzzing
4. Pulsing
5. 1 slightly longer pulse, followed by 3 shorter pulses
6. Escalating buzz: steadily gets stronger than decreases back to its original state before repeating
7. 2 escalating pulses: gets stronger with 2 buzzes at a time and then starts over
8. Slow pulse to quick pulse: starts off with longer pulses at a and then speeds up to a quicker buzz and then begins from start
9. Long pulse and then 11 shorter pulses
10. Pulse and then 30 short pulses

Note: Buzz refers to a steady vibration without interruption; pulse refers to beats with a short pause in between.

The vibrations feel very strong when you touch the bullet itself. Although the vibrations can still be felt when the bullet is connected the dildo, they do not feel as strong. Additionally, the vibrations are strongest at the base of the dildo (closest to the bullet) and weaker at the g-spot tip; based on the design of this toy, it is not hard to imagine why! So, although the dildo is designed for g-spot stimulation, it may not be the best experience for everyone. While I did end up enjoying myself, any pleasure I felt on my g-spot was mostly a result of thrusting.

I also used this toy anally on my boyfriend. He said the vibrations on the shaft felt great, and he did feel it on his p-spot as well; however it wasn't strong enough on his p-spot for his liking.

When playing with the bullet separately, I found the vibrations to be so strong that I had to constantly hold the bullet in place. If I simply let it rest anywhere on my body, it would travel as it buzzed or pulsed. Although it was an interesting sensation to have the bullet travel along my skin, the excitement ended as soon as it slide off of my body. So, my boyfriend took control and teased my body for me while I used the dildo.

I want to note that the bullet can make your hands numb since the vibrations are so strong, so keep that in mind!

Both the bullet and the dildo are easy to clean. You have a variety of options: toy wipes, baby wipes, soap and water, a 10% bleach to 90% water solution, boiling (this is for the dildo only; the water should be heated gradually), and the dishwasher (dildo only). If the controller gets dirty, use a damp cloth with soap or some sort of sanitizing wipe. Do not get it too wet, for the closure on the battery pack is not the most secure.
When sanitizing, make sure you pay close attention to the areas around the swirls. This is especially true if you use lubricant, as it can build up in this area.

Since this toy can be completely sanitized, it can be shared. As I mentioned earlier, I used this toy on myself vaginally, and anally on my boyfriend. It is important to make sure the toy is completely clean before sharing in order to prevent the spread of bacteria, as well as a possible infection.

For storage, I purchased a thick bag. However, you can keep it in the box it came in. The container was padded and had cut outs for each piece of the toy. The choice is yours, as long as you ensure that the glass is protected. Pyrex glass is rather strong, but it isn’t indestructible, so be careful!

Icicles No. 4 came in a padded box that can definitely not be described as discreet in any way. The product was nice and snug inside of its original container, so the packaging is great for storage.

Although I did enjoy this toy, there are a couple of reasons why it may not be good for everyone. The main reasons are: the swirled texture, the small g-spot curve, its pointed tip, weak vibrations at the tip, the thinness of the dildo, and the noisiness of the bullet (my boyfriend could hear it on the lowest setting when he was in the other room with the door closed). Please take all of these things into consideration before you decide if this toy is right for you!
