Buzz is made of 100% premium silicone, which is an excellent choice for both beginners and advanced users. This material is non-porous, phthalates free, and hypoallergenic. It's easy to clean and maintain. Buzz is easy to insert; however, it may be a bit too big for some users. You may need to warm up a bit with a smaller toy. We did not care for the included vibrating bullet as it did not work with the toy's design at all.

Pros
Phthalates free, premium silicone material, easy to insert.
Cons
Vibrating bullet does not work with dildo, dildo is pretty large.
Buzz is made of 100% hypoallergenic silicone and features a flared base. It's great for both vaginal and anal use. It also works well with harnesses for strap-on play. This toy is one of the biggest toys I've tried so far, so it may require a bit of a warm up with smaller toys prior to use.
Buzz can be used two ways: with or without the vibrating bullet. There is a hole in the base of Buzz where the bullet is inserted, so vibrations are felt mainly towards the base. Both Buzz and the bullet are waterproof, so your play can be taken into the bath or shower. The bullet features a rubber ring around the twist-on base to seal out water.
Buzz is made of 100% silicone. Tantus states on the packaging that this material is phthalates free and is body safe for every user. I received the black version of Buzz. It's shiny and smooth feeling without any seams. This dildo has some squish to it, so it can easily mold to work with your body. The center of the toy is all silicone until you get towards the base, where it is hollow to allow room for the included bullet.
This material is great, as it is non-porous and does not irritate skin. This can easily be switched between partners (make sure to wash it first!) without worry of any bacteria being trapped on the toy. This material is very easy to clean up. It does have a bit of a drag to it when it is dry; however, once it's been covered with lube it will feel very slick and smooth.
There isn't really any texture to Buzz. It's all smooth silicone. I think both beginners and advanced users will enjoy Buzz due to the safe material.
Buzz does have a very light scent to it; however, it is only noticeable when you put the toy right under your nose. It does not have any taste to it.
This is definitely the biggest dildo I own so far. Buzz's insertable length is 6 1/2 inches, with the total length including the base being 7 inches. The head measures almost 5 inches around and the shaft measures 4 1/4 inches around. This may be a bit too large for some users, so you may need to work your way up in size. The most difficult part of this toy to insert is the larger head. Once that is in, it should be much easier to work with.
The design of this toy is very simple. It is somewhat realistic with a defined head and slimmer shaft. However, it does not feature any veins or ridges along the shaft. I like the somewhat realistic design, as it provides the stimulation of a larger head without having the full appearance of a penis. This toy has a slight angle upwards; however, it does not have any curves or bends to it.
When we first received this, my fiance was in doubt of being able to use this anally, as it is larger than anything else we've tried. We started off with a slimmer dildo and once he felt warmed up, I switched to this one. He did not have any issues or pain with insertion. I made sure to go pretty slow so that it would not hurt him at all. Once it was fully in, he definitely enjoyed the size and shape of this dildo.
As far as the bullet goes, it's a basic small silver bullet. I would not insert this piece anally by itself as it can get lost. It measures 2 1/4 inches long and 2 1/4 inches around. It features a small push button on the screw-on base that powers it on or off. There is a rubber ring to seal out moisture. It is powered by 3 LR-44 watch batteries, which are included in the bullet already. Replacements can easily be purchased online for a low price.
We use Buzz specifically for anal use. We use it with a harness for strap-on play. Buzz features an o-ring compatible flared base which works well with or without a harness. It does not have a suction cup base. My fiance says that while this toy felt extremely good during use, it did not hit his prostate. He feels it would have felt much better if it had done so.
Since this is an anal-exclusive toy for us, we do not have any experience with vaginal insertion. We typically avoid vaginal insertion with toys, as many of them are too large to be comfortable for me. Its large head and slightly angled shaft look like they would be able to hit the g-spot.
The included bullet features only one speed, which is a high, constant, somewhat noisy vibration. The sound can somewhat be muffled by inserting the bullet in the dildo. I don't think it could be heard through a door. The vibrations mainly can be felt at the base where the bullet is inserted; however, some vibrations can be felt throughout the rest of the toy's body.
I don't think either the toy or bullet are discreet. The dildo's design is somewhat realistic, so anyone looking at it will know it is a dildo. I think it would be fine to travel with the dildo portion, as it won't set any metal detectors off and doesn't really look suspicious or anything.
Buzz can be cleaned in a small variety of ways. Since it's silicone and the vibrating bullet is removable, it can be boiled or thrown in the dishwasher. It can also be sterilized with 1 part bleach to 9 parts water. Or, you can wash it with your favorite toy cleaner or plain soap and warm water. We use a toy cleaner or some antibacterial soap and water. I recommend setting this out to air dry, as toweling it dry can leave a ton of lint on the toy's surface.
Since this is silicone, it must be stored separately from other silicone toys. I recommend storing it in a Ziploc baggie or in its original packaging. We personally just keep it in the original packaging. This also keeps Buzz clean and ready for your next use.
Silicone toys are only compatible with water-based lubes. Silicone lubes will break down the toy's material.
Buzz comes packaged in Tantus's usual dildo packaging. It's in a clear plastic box with a plastic insert that holds Buzz and the bullet in place. The front states that this toy is 100% ultra-premium silicone. One side states that all Tantus toys are body safe and non-toxic and that all Tantus toys are made of premium silicone. The back states much of the same information, as well as that this toy is waterproof and includes batteries. There is no information on where this toy is made.
While this toy does not include any user's instructions, it is easy enough to figure out if you have any experience with dildos. Remove it from the packaging, give it a good cleaning, and break out your favorite water-based lube.
This package is good for storage since it holds the bullet and dildo in place safely. It can also be recycled. I think it would be okay for gifting as long as the recipient is fine with receiving a non-discreet looking gift.
Now I'd like to cover our personal opinions on the dildo and vibrating bullet. As far as the dildo goes, he thought it was okay, but it could have been better. He did not feel any prostate stimulation. He also felt the toy was a bit too long for anal use. As the wearer of the strap-on, I have to agree with him. It was difficult to maneuver this in and out with a harness. A shorter, curved dildo would have worked much better for us.
We absolutely hate the included bullet and how it works with the dildo. I tried to insert it to see how it would work and it got stuck almost all of the way in. Since there's just a small bullet-sized hole in the base of this, air gets trapped inside when you push the bullet in. Air cannot escape from this pocket, so the bullet will not go in all the way. This also creates suction that does not allow easy removal of the bullet. We coated the bullet in soap and ended up getting out some pliers to remove the bullet from the dildo. This pretty much destroyed the bullet. I recommend finding another use for the bullet as it's not going to work with this dildo. The bullet would have worked out much better if there was a hole in the side of the dildo for air to escape from the base.
Considering the price on this toy, we weren't all terribly too impressed. Its large size doesn't really make it any more stimulating than a smaller vibrating dildo unless you really like the sensation of fullness.
Follow-up commentaryI still like it2 months after original review
We still like the dildo itself; however, I am not willing to use it with a bullet again in case another bullet ends up getting stuck as well. My fiance also points out that, since the toy is thick and the bullet goes at the base, it's not going to be very powerful stimulation at all. The included vibrating bullet was pretty weak and probably wouldn't have been felt when placed in the dildo.

Great review. Sorry the bullet didn't work for you. Sounds like you're quite handy with a pair of pliers!

Thanks for the great review. I have never been really impressed with their bullets in dildos.

Putting some water based lubricant on the bullet before insertion into the base will allow for MUCH easier removal. Sorry your bullet was destroyed during removal. Too bad about the lack of prostate stimulation as well. Thanks for the great review.

Jimbo Jones took the words right out of my mouth. A silky powder like cornstarch or Honey Dust would work as a dry lubricant, as well.
