When using this darling, I would first suggest locking your doors; you'll be busy for a LONG time. When I say a long time, I mean it in the best of ways. I have no boy toy of my own, so I can only tell you how good it is for use on yourself, but I would imagine that two players make for a better game. This is a rigid toy, so it's wise it be careful with how hard you thrust it. Best place to do the thrusting? I would say someplace with pillows... lots and lots of pillows. I use lube, but it's so smooth that most won't need it. Careful though, if you move it at a bad angle it will be uncomfortable. I also know that it is good for anal use, never tried it but I imagine it would work well. Speaking of buts I could make a joke here, butt fuck it.

Recently, I have grown interested in glass toys. They're pretty to look at, and smooth to use; this blue darling is most definitely both. What could be better? This dildo is Pyrex glass which is better then normal glass. Pyrex glass can handle temperature changes better and is shatter resistant, not to mention it's non-porous. It has no weird smells, feels nice in the hand, and feels even better elsewhere. Glass is definitely an excellent material; it cleans easily and feels good. Glass is a bit too firm for some, but others will love it. I will say that this may be a bad choice if you're just starting with toys. If you buy it on sale (like I did) you will be getting an excellent product for a great price. The Blue Swirl is ridged, and the ridges are noticeable but not too extreme. A word to the wise though, is that glass tends to feel colder than it actually is, since it conducts heat well. This is great for temperature play, but can be an unpleasant surprise on cool days.

Now comes the part where I tell you that this blue darling is awesome. If it weren't for the fact that it is clearly phallic, I would put it on my mantle. The bag is discreet but this toy really isn't. The size is good and to risk sounding like Goldilocks' perverse cousin; not too thick, not too long, but just right. While it may not be big enough for some, it is excellent for the rest of us. The tip is noticeably bigger, but not so big it hurts. The meaurements on the product page say 1 3/8" diameter, but the tip is a bit bigger, around 1 1/2" to 1 5/8". Now you may be thinking, "But does it feel good? Oh, clearly fabulous and magnificent reviewer person?" to which I will say, "Abso-freaking-lutely. You should get one."

The Blue Swirl is a pretty little toy that screws you just right. The tip takes a moment to insert, but afterwords it slides in easily. As I mentioned, it is rigid; it makes you see stars when you have the right spot, but it is unpleasant if you angle it wrong. I wasn't able not hit my g-spot, but can't blame the toy for that; I keep forgetting where it is. I have found the best way to use this is to 'screw' it in. It's super easy to use again and again (and again and again and again) and the base of the toy is easy to hold and thrust with, thanks to the ridges. The ridges make for an interesting ride; you can feel them every time it moves, and that inspires you to keep moving it. As far a performance is concerned, I say this swirl works every time.

The Blue Swirl is made of glass, and as any of you that cook know, glass is about as safe as you can get. I have heard it said that you can clean it with warm water and antibacterial soap, with a 10 percent bleach solution, in the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap, or even by boiling it for three minutes. I have only tried the warm water and the dishwasher, but both worked splendidly. As for lubes, just use your favorite, glass takes all kinds. Personally, I have only used it with a water based lubricant. All in all, glass is surprisingly low maintenance.

The Blue Swirl comes in a semi-discreet red cloth bag, which is a good place to store it. The bag isn't padded, so don't drop it! However it does have a drawstring, so that is a note in it's favor. The bag is probably only good for keeping it from getting scratched and/or touching other toys.

I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in trying out a glass toy. The Blue Swirl isnt't too heavy, has a decent base, and is lovely to look at. It also comes with a red bag to store it in, which is a definite plus. I also think that those who already know and love glass toys should definitely grab this baby while the grabbing is good, as you never know when they might go out of stock.

I was excited as can be when I received my Blue Swirl. I had been waiting for what felt like forever, but in reality was maybe six days, tops. When I first saw it, I had to get started at once. It felt great once I got the angle right. Needless to say. I was busy for quite a while. I have never been one for rigid toys, but this one was a steal, so I had to try it and I'm glad I did.
