Glass dildo

Bingo!

Bingo by SSA Glass is a versatile toy. It has a variety of textures, is perfect for temperature play, and even works nicely as a massage tool! The slender body of the toy may not be suitable for size-queens, but the sensations from the textures and/or temperature play will make up for Bingo's lack of girth.

Use

Bingo is a glass dildo that can be used for solo or couple's play. The toy can be used for internal or external stimulation. Bingo does not have a flared base, which is typically a necessity for toys being used during anal play. Though the toy has no flared base, it is 9 inches in length. The long body of Bingo would allow the user to use the toy anally if they desired, but not as a hands-free anal toy. The toy also makes a lovely massage tool. If you lay the toy flat against your own or your partner’s body, the bulbous ends allow the user to roll the toy along the skin. The nubs and firmness of the toy make for an effective massage.

Bingo is a dildo. There are no mechanical aspects to the toy, so it is silent. Also, the toy can be used both in and out of the water. One of the most exciting uses for glass toys is temperature play. Bingo can be placed in a bowl of warm or cool water before using it. The toy holds the temperature quite nicely and the different sensations from temperature play can feel phenomenal. Whether you are warming or cooling the toy, it is important to test the temperature before inserting the toy or using it externally on your sensitive areas. You can do this by placing the dildo against your inner arm.

Bingo is suitable for both beginners and advanced toy users. The toy is double ended, meaning that either end can be inserted. The one end has a more subtle texture, which consists of smooth bulges. This end is more suitable for beginners or those who do not like intense textures. The other end is nubbed. Bingo would also be appropriate for beginners because it has a slender body and is non-intimidating in appearance. Regardless of your experience level, Bingo should never be used for hard thrusting since the toy is firm. Hard thrusting could result in a bruised cervix.

Material / Texture

Bingo is made of borosilicate glass. The toy is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and phthalate-free. The difference between borosilicate glass and regular glass is that borosilicate is less dense. This means that if the toy were to break, it would not splinter or break into tiny little pieces. Instead, it would break into large chunks. I own a number of glass dildos from SSA Glass, which I use frequently. Even with the occasional drop, I’ve never had any issues with my toys breaking. The glass is very, very strong.

With Bingo being made of glass, there is no flexibility or give to the toy. There is also no scent or taste to it. The toy has a few different textures to it. Bingo is double-ended, and each side has its own unique texture. The one tip begins with a tapered, bulbous head. The head is smooth with no texture to it. Beneath the head, the shaft has oval shaped nubs. The other end of the toy begins with a bulbous tip, which is not tapered. Beneath the head, the shaft is bulged.

Depending on which side is inserted, the toy could be appropriate for beginners. The bulged end of the toy would be more suitable for beginners, because the bulges are not terribly pronounced and are smooth. The oval nubs on the other end of the toy may be a bit too pronounced for those who are new to glass. It’s important to remember that a nubbed texture on a soft, plush toy is not the same as nubs on a firm, glass toy.

Design / Shape / Size

Double-ended toys are nice because the user can choose which end is inserted. Having 2 different textures, Bingo is like 2 toys in 1. The total length of the toy is 9 inches. Bingo does not have any curve to its body. The tapered end of the toy is approximately 1 1/2 inches in length, with a circumference of 4 1/8 inches. The nubbed shaft beneath the tapered head has a length of 3 7/8 inches. The circumference of this area is approximately 3 1/4 inches.

The other end of the toy, which has the non-tapered bulbous end, is a bit shorter in length. The bulb at this end has a length of approximately 1 inch and a circumference of 4 inches. The bulged shaft beneath the bulbous head has a length of approximately 2 5/8 inches. The shaft is 3 inches in circumference. The first bulge down the shaft has a circumference of 3 1/2 inches and the last bulb, which separates the bulge texture from the nubbed texture, has a circumference of 4 1/8 inches.

The toy is quite lengthy, but as you can see from the measurements it’s rather slender. Both the length and circumference of Bingo would be suitable for beginners. The total length of the toy is 9 inches, but the user can insert as little, or as much, of that length as they desire. The slender body of the toy may not satisfy toy users who prefer thick insertables or those who consider themselves “size-queens”.

The design of the toy is non-phallic, but could still be identified as a sex toy if it were left out of its storage pouch. Bingo can be traveled with, but it would be best to invest in a better storage pouch since the included pouch has no padding to it. As far as noise discretion is concerned, this toy is silent because it does not vibrate.

Performance

Bingo performs excellently as a dildo and a tool for temperature play. It holds the desired temperature nicely. If you prefer the cooler temperatures, Bingo is fantastic because it is double-ended. If you’re using Bingo for a longer play session, the end you initially inserted will eventually warm up with your body temperature. When this happens, just turn the dildo around to get back to the cooler sensations! This is the number one reason why I prefer double-ended glass toys over single-ended.

Glass doesn’t absorb any lubricant, so only a little lubricant, if any, is needed. As mentioned in the use section, Bingo also works nicely as a massaging tool. Lay the dildo flat against your own, or your partner’s, body, and roll the toy along the skin. It works nicely along the back and legs.

Care and Maintenance

Caring for Bingo is easy. The texture does require a bit of extra attention, but still only takes a minute or two to fully clean. The toy can be cleaned with soap and water, toy wipes, or a toy cleaning spray. Glass can also be sterilized. You can sterilize Bingo by wiping it down with rubbing alcohol or a bleach/water solution, putting it on the top rack of your dishwasher, or boiling the toy.

The toy can be stored in its original packaging, but you’ll want to keep the included bubble wrap. The storage pouch is very thin with no padding. As I had previously mentioned, the toy can be used with oil, silicone, or water-based lubricants.

Packaging

The toy arrives in a red, velvety storage pouch. It is very discreet, as there are no images or text on the pouch that reveals what is inside. The pouch measures just less than 10 inches in length and 3 inches wide. There is a black drawstring closure at the top of the pouch. The toy is wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the toy, since the pouch is not padded. The thin storage pouch can be used to store the toy, and can be used to travel with if you were to keep the included bubble wrap. Without it, the glass is not as protected as it should be.

Personal comments

Below are a couple of size comparison photos. The first photo shows you the toy beside a 355mL can of pop and a 500mL bottle of water. The second photo shows Bingo (on the far left) beside other SSA Glass pieces.

Experience

I really enjoyed using Bingo! Both textures are nice. Usually I am less fond of nubs on glass toys, but these nubs are oval-like. I found the nubs to be less intense on Bingo because of their shape, compared to the nubs on the Nubby Wand by SSA Glass. My partner also enjoyed the back massage he received with this dildo. It was easy to roll along his back with the 2 ends being bulbous.
