Basic but useful dildo ... just don't expect fireworks.
The Dick Head Dildo is a great option for a sex toy newbie and has several great qualities such as material properties and overall look. The material's scent and the overall floppiness of the toy though combined with the awkward bulge in the middle to end make it less desirable for smooth thrusting, consequently taking away from the overall functionality of this dildo.

Pros
Length, overall look, material.
Cons
Scent that lingers no matter how you wash it, floppiness.
The Dick Head dildo attracted my eye because I have a thing for toys with heads on them. It's my thing. I can't help it. When I received this toy, I was a little ... well, underwhelmed. First off, the Sil-a-Gel material it is made out of has a rather unique smell. Kind of plastic-y and not all that attractive. Granted this smell does decrease over time, use and cleaning, but it's not all that pleasant right off the bat.
The Sil-a-Gel material does have some upsides though. Given that it's smooth, it's less prone to attract bacterial if properly stored and maintained. I keep mine in a handmade silk bag and wash it with antibacterial soap before and after use since the material also tends to attract fibers and other particles. Both water-based or silicone-based lubes can be used with this dildo, though I have personally only used water-based because it's all I have. I would suggest using this dildo with a condom if you're going to be sharing it between partners so there's no risk of transferring anything between partners. The approximate shape and side of a real penis is similar enough that regular condoms would be sufficient here. The Sil-a-Gel material is also phthalates-free and latex-free.
The dildo itself is pretty floppy and lacks internal strength. When I was thrusting with it, I had to grab it in the middle instead of at the end so it didn't flop out of where I was trying to get it in! It is listed under the Strap On Dildo category, but I'm not sure how well it would work with a harness. There isn't much of a base to it and consequently it might slip out if you're not using it with an O-ring. Having no harness to test this out though, I'm purely guessing.
The actual body of the dildo slightly flares out in the middle to lower third of it and in use I found this to be a weird thing. It didn't make for smooth thrusting and actually hampered my ability to thrust evenly. Maybe I'm just particularly tight though. The length is pretty good on this toy, measuring 6 inches insertable.
A note on the head of the toy: I love the head look and feel (almost like really having a partner there!) but the ridges are a possible place germs and bacterial could collect. You have to make sure to really clean it well and get in all the ridges and grooves so nothing gets missed.
Overall this dildo is functional, but I didn't find it to be all that noteworthy. I think perhaps it would be best for a dildo or toy beginner. It's pretty narrow with the exception of the slight bulge in the mid to lower portion. The color is fun and the material makes for easy clean up as long as you pay attention to it.

I can honestly say I've used this maybe three or four times since I got it. It's been eclipsed by far better and more body safe dildos. Trust me, save your money and use it toward something better.
