Aluminum is All-mine-ium
The Alumina Motion is a stunning and unique double-ended dildo. Aluminum retains heat amazingly well and will last a life time. The Motion would make a great addition to anyone's collection.

Pros
Unique design, gorgeous, color, great heat retention, double ended, and environmentally safe
Cons
None
After falling in love with glass, I decided it was time to conquer metal. I've been drawn to the Tantus Alumina line since I'd first laid eyes on the unique shapes and gorgeous deep purples. Not only is the Alumina line body safe, but environmentally safe as well. (No batteries needed and it's recyclable!)
The Motion arrived in a classy black box with silver embossing, displaying the shape of the dildo. Packaged along with the Motion was a small pamphlet which provides information about the Alumina line. I picked the Motion for its innovative shape, and I have yet to see any other product that offers what the Motion does. It is separated into two parts, which screw together and are sealed with an o-ring. The great thing about the Alumina line is the ability to interchange the halves of the Flow, Revolve, and Motion, resulting in your very own Franken-dildo.
Aluminum is lighter than stainless steel, with the Motion weighing in at 1 pound (which is the same as the Cyberglass Four-Way G, for comparison). The two aluminum halves (not the o-ring!) can be boiled or washed in the dishwasher (top rack / no soap). Both silicone and water lubricants can be used with the Alumina Motion. Aluminum has amazing heat retention properties, and is great for temperature play (use warm or cold water to heat up or cool down the toy). In my opinion, the heat retention is better than that of glass.
At first, I was somewhat skeptical about the shape of the dildo. My skepticism quickly vanished once I had experienced the Motion in all of its glory. The skinnier end is more filling than I had expected, and the spade-shaped head and center bulb provide unique and noticeable stimulation. The larger end is weighted nicely, and provides a nice full feeling. With its silky texture, the Motion passes with flying colors (well, flying purple) during thrusting.
This is, by far, the prettiest sex toy I own. Tantus is known for its quality products, and the Alumina Motion is no exception. (Bonus: Tantus products are hand-made in the US, using green manufacturing processes.) I would whole-heartedly recommend the Motion to anyone interested in aluminum or searching for a unique addition to their collection. After all, it's not the size of the ship, but the Motion of the ocean!
