Alumina Whoa!
The Alumina Flow is a beautiful piece in a toy series that is sure to blow your mind. It is wonderful for first-time anal play, and for temperature play as well! A great addition to my growing collection.

Pros
Beautiful, smooth, interchangeable attachments.
Cons
Weight, comfort of use.
I can't tell you how excited I was to be receiving Alumina Flow as my latest assignment. It is a beautiful piece, and once it was in my hands, it was nothing like I expected.
I like to think of myself as a pretty knowledgeable person when it comes to sex toys, certainly not an expert, but at the same time, definitely not a novice. Even so, Flow surprised me.
I researched the toy a little bit once I received it, as it didn't come with any tips or hints on what to do with it. Tantus, who makes the toy, describes it as a great "Sphincter relaxer". That being said, it doesn't rule out any other uses.
Alumina Flow is surprisingly heavy to me! The weight of this toy shocks me every time I handle it. I am used my jell-e dong, and my tempered glass dildo, so the weight of this toy, in comparison, is almost extreme. The dildo is slick, smooth, and very aesthetically pleasing. I would go so far as to call it beautiful.
The ends unscrew from each other so that you can mix and match different attachments in the Alumina line, which simply intrigues me. I cannot wait to get my hands on other Alumina dildos to see what I can create! I was also interested to try some more temperature play, which the Alumina accommodates, as it holds heat and a chill very well.
As for use of the toy, I feel a little differently-and even perhaps scared.
I inserted the larger end of the dildo inside of myself, and was greeted first by pleasure, which was followed quickly by pain. I gave myself a moment to try and adjust, but could not comfortably use the toy. That was okay, I thought--maybe I'm just using the wrong end? So I flipped the toy over and used the other end. No pleasure whatsoever. So, maybe I just don't get it. Maybe it's only for the sphincter? I look it up online. Not so. Other people are using and enjoying the Alumina Flow in their vaginas! Maybe it isn't for me. I will try again and follow up.
As for my girlfriend, she found it uncomfortable in her vagina as well. As a sphincter relaxer, as it is suggested for use, it is fantastic. An awesome beginners toy for those who want to try anal play.

Hmm, odd that it was uncomfortable for vaginal play...but I definitely love the design/aesthetic of all the alumina toys!
-
I was surprised by how heavy my Revolve feels. You definitely expect something a little lighter for aluminum but it's lighter than steel (by a bit)
-
By "extreme" do you mean heavy or light? I thought it was pretty damn light but then again I'm used to stainless steel toys.

This stainless steel toy is too sexy for its shirt... too sexy for my toy box... apparently too sexy for pussy... :] Thanks for the review!

Hmmm, apparently there are some who don't like it. Good to have this perspective quite honestly. Thanks for the review.
