A Very Pleasant Surprise
While on the slender side, the texture on the Ophoria #6 makes for an awesome experience. It's made of pure silicone and is exceptionally firm, which makes up for the small girth.

Pros
Pure silicone, prominent texture, suction cup base.
Cons
May be too small for some.
At first glance, the raised detailing on the sides of the Ophoria #6 seem small and unlikely to add much to the experience since the diameter of the toy is relatively small (1 3/8"). When I first opened the package, I was a little underwhelmed. Sure, the suction cup is cool, and it does stick to everything you'd expect it to stick to, but the Ophoria #6 itself looked like it might be a bit disappointing.
I was wrong. I was so wrong that this toy has become one of my favorites. The toy is only 6 inches long (5.5 or so inches of which is insertable), so the totally straight shaft doesn't do any cervix-bumping. Ophoria silicone is incredibly firm: it's firmer than most other manufacturers. This firmness makes the toy feel a little bigger than it actually is; I felt surprisingly filled. Most shocking of all was how noticeable the raised detailing felt. I didn't expect to be able to feel it at all, but you can really, really feel it. And it feels awesome. It feels good thrusting in and out or twisting around. You can even feel the band and nub around the head, which I also wasn't expecting. The texture is a very pleasant surprise. If you're looking for a thrusting toy that's a little more exciting than normal, I would recommend this dildo.
The suction cup base also adds some versatility lacking in other dildos, making the Ophoria #6 great for shower or bath play. The base also allows the Ophoria #6 to be used in a harness, but because the suction cup is thinner than a normal base I imagine it would be less stable in a harness than other dildos (although I admit that I have not had the opportunity to test this theory). The base also makes the Ophoria #6 anal-safe. Water-based lube is preferable with this toy, as with all silicone.
Care: could not be easier. Since the Ophoria #6 is made of silicone, you can boil it, wipe it down with 10% bleach solution, or throw it in the top rack of your dishwasher with no soap. The Ophoria silicone isn't really a lint magnet like other brands of silicone, so you can store it however you want.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Ophoria #6 as a first-time dildo. The small diameter would provide a great introduction to penetration, and the texture on the sides would be a fun way to begin experimenting with texture. On the other hand, seasoned toy users will also enjoy the experience the texture will provide (I got the Ophoria #6 about two years after I started using toys and I enjoy using it regularly, preferably with the Eroscillator). Obviously this toy is not going to satisfy size queens (either with respect to length or girth), so if you crave a very filling experience this toy is probably not for you.
