A Pretty Rainbow
This glass dildo is great for those who are just beginning to experiment with glass as well as for more advanced users. The different textures located on the dildo add different sensations depending on how much of the toy you are inserting. Not too thick so it isn't intimidating, but with enough girth for you to enjoy.

Pros
Hit G-Spot, beautiful toy, swirls and nubs add texture to experience.
Cons
No storage bag included any longer.
The Rainbow Swirl Dildo by Don Wands is a good addition to anyone's collection who enjoys glass and particularly enjoys toys with some form of texture to them. While this is a long dildo, it isn't overly girthy and anyone from beginners to more advanced/experienced users can use this and find something they enjoy about this.
Packaging
The Rainbow Swirl Dildo arrives in a cardboard box, with a plastic clamshell case that is visible through the cardboard. The packaging has changed on this product in relation to earlier reviews, it seems to be a standard box that Don Wands uses now as I have another glass toy from them that has the exact same outer cardboard box.
The box has the company name and talks about the benefits of glass toys. On the side of the box is a picture of several of the glass toys in the Don Wands collection. You open the top of the packaging and remove the plastic clamshell, which houses the actual dildo. The clear plastic on the front of the box allows one to see the dildo inside, so this is not discreet at all. If you are giving this as a gift everyone will know what you are giving. That being said, it is tasteful and wouldn't be out of place at a raunchy bridal shower with your girlfriends.
The plastic clamshell seems to be the only piece of the packaging that is unique to each toy. The plastic is designed to perfectly hold the dildo and has a top to the plastic so that it can be opened and closed as needed. You could use this clamshell for storage if you want, the plastic does hold the dildo nicely, although it is very large for storage in a toy drawer. I am storing this in the packaging at the moment while waiting for a protective bag to arrive.
Material/Texture
The Rainbow Swirl Dildo is made from tempered glass and rates a 10 out of 10 on the Eden Fantasys material safety scale. It is hypoallergenic and used in medical and science fields, as well as in cooking materials. It is completely body safe. Think about the Pyrex mixing bowls you might have in your kitchen cabinets, same materials that are used for this.
Pyrex is a type of tempered glass that is less dense than normal glass, making it much less likely that it will splinter or shattering. If this were to break it would break in large pieces, and not in small pieces. So you should have no fear of using glass, you won't get a shard of glass breaking off during use. (This is something that my wife worried about before we began to explore glass, but her fears have since been relieved.) You should always check out glass toys before use and look for any cracks or splinters. If there are you should not use the toy. If there are cracks or splinters you shouldn't use the toy because once the integrity of the glass is compromised then the rest of the glass is much more susceptible to breaking/cracking/shattering. The glass used is very good for maintaining temperature and can be heated or cooled slightly before use without danger of damage. I wouldn't put it in the freezer for a long amount of time, but we have used it in the fridge for a bit and loved the results.
One of the main selling points about this toy is the texture that is involved. You have the smooth glass, the multi-colored (blue and yellow swirls on our dildo) swirls near the the head of the toy, and dark blue nubs near the base that add different feelings. The swirls add texture while thrusting, and can stimulate the vaginal opening if you are using the toy in a shallow motion, and the nubs add a bumpy texture when you are thrusting with the toy completely inserted. The two textures together make for a unique sensation while thrusting.

Experience
Design/Shape/Size
The Rainbow Swirl is 7 1/4" with 6 3/4" of that length being insertable. The toy has a circumference of 4 1/4" with a diameter of 1 3/8". It has some girth, but is not overwhelming at all, it would certainly be a good introduction to glass toys for beginners while more advanced users would still enjoy it because of the textures involved. Women who prefer girthier toys won't enjoy this toy a ton I would suspect. The dildo has a curve so that it helps stimulate the G-spot.
The dildo has a somewhat realistic shape, in that it is shaped like a penis with a bulbous head like that of a penis, but it's not overly realistic. My wife liked that it has a somewhat realistic shape without being too much like a normal penis.
Performance
The Rainbow Swirl performs as described. It is great for stimulating both the vaginal opening with the textured nubs as well as stimulating the G-spot thanks to the curve in the design of the shaft. The texture is the main selling point to this toy, my wife loved the swirls stimulating her inner vaginal walls in addition to the nubs at the vaginal entrance. She enjoys textured toys and really enjoyed the different textures she experienced in the same toy in this case.
You should be careful when using this with a partner, too much vigorous thrusting could bruise the cervix of vaginal walls. That being said it is a great toy for use with a partner or for solo play. You can also use this in the shower or bath tub, or for temperature play.
There is a flared base making it safe for anal use. We have not tried to use it anally so I can't comment on how it works anally, but it would be safe for anal play.
Care
Glass is very easy to clean and care for. You can boil this for complete disinfection, wash it with warm water and soap, use toy cleaner, toy wipes or antibacterial wipes. You can even run this through the dishwasher if you would like.
You can use any type of lubrication that you wish with this toy. Water-based and silicone lubricants would both work fine with this toy, as the integrity of the toy will not be degraded if you use silicone-based lubricant.
Storing this toy is pretty easy, simply put it in a protective bag or even the packaging it came in to protect it. Glass is sturdy, but don't drop it while walking through your kitchen, or it will be more likely to crap/chip/shatter. As I mentioned earlier Don Wands is no longer including a storage bag with the toy, but you can order one easily here at EF. Do not store glass toys in the same pouch as they can damage each other.
Personal Thoughts
We love this toy. We are finding we really love glass toys and adding to our collection, but this one will definitely be in the rotation for awhile. My wife loves the different textures when using it, it is long enough to fully satisfy her and it is a really pretty toy to look at. We would definitely recommend this.
