If you're all about a firmness and simplicity, then this is the toy for you. It's average sized, super rigid, has lightly textured veins, and a pronounced head. The intermediate toy user will fall in love with Bonez! I know I have.

Pros
Lightly textured shaft, pronounced head, compatible with silicone lube.
This toy works great for firm vaginal thrusting. You can easily grip the bottom half and go at it. I prefer to twist it when it's inside of me and the light textured shaft makes it really enjoyable. It can be used with a partner, but caution has to be taken as it is extremely firm and could bruise the cervix or catch the pubic bone.
It is pretty large, but if you do decide to use it anally, you'll have to have a good grip on the bottom half. The information on EdenFantasys says that it has a flared base, but it does not.
I have found that vibrations travel extremely well through the solid shaft and head. A strong bullet can be pressed against the bottom and the vibrations can be felt throughout the entire toy. If you're into a bit of rough play, you can use this to spank your partner.
Bonez is made of TPR and rates a 7 on the Eden safety scale. It is phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free.
The smell, upon opening, reminded me of my local auto body shop or mechanic. It wasn't strong enough to smell unless my nose was pretty close and it has reduced significantly with each washing. I was pleasantly surprised, because of the weird smell, to find that this toy had absolutely no taste to it. I was expecting a bitter taste, but instead, nothing! It only comes in black and it's a very deep and solid black.
The TPR material is pretty smooth, although it does have a bit of drag to it, so you'll have to lube it up pretty good before use or else it could potentially catch and cause some pain. The slightly raised veins along the shaft provide a subtle texture that's just right! The head is very pronounced and very hard; this might be too much for some. If you're big on that popping kind of head, but not so big on texture, you will fall in love with this guy.
WARNING! WARNING! This is a FIRM toy! The inner structure is completely solid and has no give. The TPR material is firm and not plush at all. You could probably knock someone out with one hit in the head from this rigid feller.
Bonez, standing at 7 3/4 inches and weighing in at 0.2 lb, is one big, solid, hunk o' toy. It's pretty realistic other than the super pronounced head and its uber erection. With a diameter of 1 3/4 inches and an insertable length of 7 inches, it might be too big for some. I wouldn't recommend it for beginners because of its rigidity.
It's great for travel because it doesn't collect any lint and doesn't vibrate. You can throw this in your suitcase and no one will be the wiser.
It's a pretty awesome toy, if you like firmness. The veins are perfect and the head is huge! I found it to be too firm for thrusting, but it was really nice to twist around in conjunction with a good clitoral vibrator.
It's probably a good thing that it's not harness compatible because it would probably really hurt the person on the receiving end.
This toy is super low maintenance. It doesn't attract lint, so you don't have to be careful about how you store it. You can pretty much throw it anywhere. The most commonly used lubes, silicone and water based, are both compatible with the TPR material. Clean him up with some mild soap, antibacterial soap, or toy cleaner. It cannot be boiled or fully sanitized as it is semi-porous. I suggest using a condom if you're going to be sharing between partners or holes.
Bonez comes in a clear clamshell packaging and he is clearly visible through the front. It's not discreet at all, but does make for excellent storage as it is pretty compact. The visible insert is covered in blue, black, and gray swirls. The insert looks really cool and I think it makes the packaging really funky and pretty.
There are no instructions included. The only information on the packaging is that it's extra firm, made of non-toxic and non-phthalate TPR material, silicone lube compatible, and it's hygienically safe.
One thing on the back that I did find pretty cool for a $20 dick was the website that it gave me for product registration and warranty information. I did go to docjohnson.com and register my Bonez and I should be receiving my warranty information soon.
Follow-up commentaryI don't like it anymore2 months after original review
Over time, Bonez has proven to be much too firm for me. I've started taking a liking to softer and safer materials, but if you like firm thrusting toys, I would still totally recommend this guy.
